FLYPROJECT - LOEWEN GARDEN (DEMPSEY HILL)

Used classpass and attended sculpt pilates by Instructor Tiffany. Great class with an incredibly patient and attentive instructor. Class was challenging and modified to my skill level. It was a nice break from the crowded city center. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience with customer service on January 11, 2025, 10am. The employee hung up on me, and when I tried calling back, they answered and then just left the phone off the hook on purpose. I’ve attached videos as proof. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I’m definitely not coming back. If you’re looking for decent service, avoid this place. The least they could’ve done is let me know they were too busy to help, but instead, they just ignored me completely. I won’t be supporting them again, and I’d advise others to stay away too.

Today I booked a Reformer Class via Classpass. Unfortunately no teacher arrived and the studio was closed. Neither I nor other participants received a cancelation notification. We tried to contact the studio, but no answer on the phone or on instagram. After waiting for 20min we decided to head home. The next Bus stop is 10-15min walk away. I was really looking forward to this class and I’m a bit disappointed about the circumstances. I’m not sure if the issue lies with classpass or the studio site.

The pros: Monthly packages are very affordable and they're generous with it as well, allowing package holders to maintain their $199 packages* on a subscription basis and not limiting the no. of people that the package can be shared among. It's probably impossible to find such a good deal for reformer pilates classes. (*EDIT: they’ve ceased the $199 for 20 credit subscription package and offered $249 for 10 credits instead, after 3 months. Still a good deal compared to most studios!) The cons: The location is extremely inaccessible via public transport, and the roads leading to the studio can be quite dark/low visibility at night. Classes are also a little too big, so often you see people doing certain moves incorrectly but the instructor does not have time to correct everyone. Also, there have been multiple occasions where classes get cancelled but students are not notified.

I took the first timer three classes credit from fly project and was really looking forward to trying this studio out and join regular classes. I had one of the worst experiences in booking classes. Credit was available for month and everytime i would book a class it would get canceled and when i raised the issue on insta (glad they were quick to respond) i was told due to personal reasons instructors are unavailable last minute. But personal reasons this often!! To their credit, they did extend my package twice and I somehow managed two classes!! I was so frustrated that i forego my third class.

Although classes and instructors were good and fun, the classes would cancel randomly because they didn’t have enough bookings (my assumption, they don’t really give a reason). Now I would understand if it’s one class, but they wouldn’t have a class available for a whole morning (7-12pm). It made booking classes extremely difficult and the customer service isn’t great. I wouldn’t recommend buying a package, I bought three and didn’t even use all of them, went for 1 class only.

The studio is spacious and the vibe is like Bali vibe as the location is in Dempsey Hill with trees view and all.

Booked in for a beginner class at 745. Studio is spacious and the instructor gives clear instructions for beginners like me. As it was a small class, the instructor was able to provide targeted feedback/correction. Showers facilities are available. Free parking on site too.
