Fo'ao Vaperse Hotel

Vaperse hotel was conveniently located and had a good selection of restaurants inside and had a lot of externally provided options of other services available such as a 7/11 inside their complex.But since it was so large, I think the hotel itself didn’t have much control of what was going on sometimes. There was no bell boy or luggage service offered, despite being rated a 5 star hotel. Main issue for me was that some parts of the hotel allow smoking, so some of the rooms had a pretty big smoking smell to it. Thankfully a window can be opened when requested to air out the room a little. Please note, the policy for any self-serviced apartment style room e.g.2 bedroom apartment, they actually allow smoking inside. Only the ‘hotel’ rooms are non-smoking. But even this isn’t closely monitored.The hotel staff were pretty helpful though, and did assist me in changing rooms when the first one had much too strong of smoke.Other small things for the 2 bedroom apartment was: the 2nd bed was very hard. Almost like sleeping on a wooden floor board, not recommended for those with a bad back or side sleepers. Water pressure was also pretty low. You had to hold the extra pressure button down on the shower head to make the water pressure feel a bit more normal.We did also visit the gym, but a lot of the equipment needed repairs. All in all, it was a good hotel for the price and for its convenient location. I would consider staying there again as the size of the rooms were decent and comfortable for a young family of 4, but just be mindful of the smoking policy and it is a little on the older side. Note: on level 6 of the west wing, there is a dental clinic. So if you want less noise and less of the public roaming on your floor, please request to avoid rooms on level 6.

Nice hotel! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere always feels welcoming. The service is perfect as always - the staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything you need. I really appreciate the consistency every time I stay here, which makes it feel reliable and stress-free. Definitely a place I look forward to coming back to

Booked the business apartment. The hotel was clean and is spacious as well. What attracts me the most was there is a 2 in washing machine(included dryer) so it means less clothes to bring on the travel. The hotel manager Tony was great and professional with his service and even go extra miles to help us settle our Taobao and waimai. Will definely booked again as overall space was good for family too.

We recommend this hotel. Reasons:||Location: Near to Two Metro stations. Please take metro from Zhujiang New Town station (10mins walk) to reach Canton tower quickly. Easy to get a taxi too due to location on main road.||Room: Spacious and Equipped with Washing Machine (with dryer) and microwave. Very useful especially for families.||Buffett Breakfast: Amazing spread of western and Chinese cuisines. Live noodle station is great. ||Nearby: Plenty of fast food restaurants (McD, KFC) and a Thai Restaurant. Indian restaurants at 15 min walk or 13rmb DiDi. There’s a 7-11 behind hotel lobby. ||Tips: There’s no room dining service. Hence, Get a takeaway to room or Eat At the Hotel Restaurant on the 2nd floor.

This hotel is fantastic and amazing! I absolutely love it here. The lobby is so nice, it feels very grand. The swimming pool is also fantastic, it's perfect for relaxation. The rooms are really nice, and I'm impressed by the number of floors this hotel has. I feel like I'm on top of the world when I'm in my room. The overall ambiance of the hotel is luxurious and welcoming. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The décor is elegant, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel's amenities are top-notch, and I appreciate the attention to detail that has gone into creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests. I love spending time in the hotel, whether I'm lounging by the pool or exploring the various facilities. The hotel's grandeur and majesty make me feel like I'm staying in a five-star resort. I'm having a wonderful time here and I'm sure I'll leave with many fond memories. The hotel's excellent service and amenities make it a great choice for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway. I'm so glad I chose to stay here and I would definitely recommend it to others. This hotel truly exceeds my expectations in every way.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the city. The room itself is very comfortable, modern, and luxurious. The bed is firm—in a good way—and great for the back. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pillow menu offering six different types of pillows, something I have never seen before. Toiletries provided in the room are from Dead Sea Essentials by AHAVA. The TV offers a few English channels (including Star Movies and National Geographic), which is better than many other hotels in the city that only provide Chinese channels. The room also features an intelligent toilet and excellent 5-star facilities overall.||The hotel is very convenient for Canton Fair visitors. It takes around 30 minutes by bus to reach Canton Pazhou, and the return bus from the fair departs from Area A. The hotel also offers an afternoon tea for Canton visitors from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the lobby, which is a nice touch. The new Metro Line 10, opened in June 2025, has a stop (Yangji East, Exit C1) very close to the hotel, providing easy access to the Guangzhou Metro network.||There is a 7-Eleven conveniently located behind the reception in the lobby, and a Bolai Thai Restaurant next to the lobby as well. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor at Petrus Restaurant from 6:30 am to 10:00 am and offers a good variety.||The staff were extremely friendly. A special mention to receptionist Shirlin Zhang, who was exceptionally helpful—she arranged for our two rooms to be on the same floor and even assisted in communicating the drop-off location to a taxi driver by showing him the exact place on her phone map.||One minor downside: the hotel floors run from 17 to 30, and with only three elevators, there can be some waiting time during busy hours.||Overall, a fantastic stay with great facilities, a convenient location, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for Canton Fair visitors and tourists alike.

It was my first time in Guangzhou and didn't know what to expect. Excellent hotel and the service was exceptional 🤌 Definitely I'll come back to this hotel next time I visit. The lobby is really pretty and Instagram worthy. It has a built in 7-11 and a really good gym set up for a hotel compared to other hotels which is important to me.

The good reviews are lies!!! Worth hotel in town. We were really disappointed by the hotel. We booked it because of the swimming pool, and the nice pictures of the room. The room was dirty , with blood on the ground, old toilet paper, shoes prints on the ground, dirty Toilets, hairs, smoke cigarettes smell. When we did the check-in, we asked the swimming pool time, they told us, that it will be open in the morning. When we arrived in the room, it was written that the swimming pool is closed for Renovation... What a shame and a lie !!!! Don't go to this hotel, and it's definitely not a 5 stars... It seems like a really old hotel
