The food is delicious. The place is small and usually crowded but cozy enough. You can take from focaccia to complete meal dishes. The wine is good. In general a good place.

Very disappointed! I was surprised to see that the staff were not using gloves when they were preparing the focaccia. They dropped some zucchini on the counter while preparing the sandwich, and they just proceeded to pick it up and put it in the sandwich. Disgusting! Moreover, the staff was very rude and unfriendly. I do not recommend this place!

All together the experience wasn’t bad. But I wouldn’t recommend this place cause the portions you get doesn’t match the price you pay for it. I ordered an antipasti plate for 30.- and I received so little meat. More rocket than salami haha. Shame I will not return .

Google
Very friendly staff and the food was great. It is a fancy place for dinner and also a good for meeting friends in large numbers up to maybe 8 people. And also the food to price ratio was also ok and normal as well as small portions of each meal are available.

Google
Very good foccacia for a fair price - i had once the pasta from the restaurant offer though and found the portion very small so would stick to foccacia

Yelp
Would definitely recommend grabbing dinner here when in St. Gallen. The backyard patio has great vibes and the housemade pasta is super tasty. It's not the most memorable pasta I've had but there is beauty in its simplicity. Pasta was nicely aldente though the cheese was lost in the bites.

Yelp
Focacceria St Gallen is really good. Amazing pastas and salad bowls. Very tasty and delicious. Exceptional place to dine or takeout.

Yelp
Great choice and amazing quality. Quick service helps when you are sightseeing with starving kids. Definitely worth a five star recommendation

Yelp
As a student of the University of St. Gallen you can find me at the Focacceria at least twice a week. I do love hip places and the Foccaceria is definitely the hippest place in St. Gallen with the most relaxed atmosphere. It is kinda like subway but way better and more high class. Instead of a bread you can decide between different sized Focaccias and put whathever you want in them. As I am too lazy to choose the toppings myself, I often take one of the daily menues, ending up having Focaccias with a filling like: Chorizo, Rucola, Aubergine, Ricotta and Tartar - just heavenly delicious and definitely worth the price of around CHF 11.00 for a medium size. If you are up for it, take a Gazosa with it. It is a swiss beverage from Ticino and the best flavour is Mandarine, if you ask me. And when you start loving the place like I dobut have already tried every possible Focaccia combination (almost impossible), start going for the salads as they are as well just awesome!

Yelp
This place is a Focaccia sandwich lovers heaven. They also serve other items on their menu, but the sandwiches are the highlight. They also have a full bar located in the second floor seating area. Try to grab a seat first and get the number of your table, so you can give the table number after you order your sandwich downstairs, as they will deliver it too you. There are a few seats at the entrance, but a much larger area upstairs. When you walk in it's a bit overwhelming and not clear what you do. You walk all the way back, and the first step is to pick the size of sandwich you want - small, medium, or large. All served on fresh Focaccia bread that they make on-site. Then you can choose your meat and cheese (extra cost if you get both), and they slice the meat and cheese right there in front of you. Then you pick toppings, and voila there is your sandwich. It was the best focaccia sandwich I have ever had. My husband wanted take the restaurant back home with us. I so wish we had something similar in the French speaking section. I would definitely return here if I ever come back. Another bonus is that this place is open late. It is open until 23H Monday - Thursday, and open until 24H Friday - Saturday. I stomach has started growling just thinking of this sandwich yumminess.

Yelp
I started off giving Foccaceria only 4 stars but then I remembered that I go there at least once, but often multiple times EVER time I'm in St. Gallen... Therefore, the reality is it's my favorite place to eat in St. Gallen and deserves 5 stars! If you're a fan of good deli sandwiches (on Focaccia bread) then you will love this place. It looks like a small, hole-in-the-wall place except very clean. They also have great antipasti and carpaccio. I always get a small or medium Focaccia with either ham & provolone or the Bresola & Provolone with 2 toppings and lettuce. For Switzerland the pricing are very reasonable, if not cheap. I definitely recommend going here if you're in St. Gallen!

Yelp
Foccaceria is always a good idea! You have two types of food there: cheap focaccia (self service) or expensive meals! I'm more the type of guy eating focaccias! They have some propositions but you can make your own, choosing the meat, the cheese, the toppings (Guac is amazing!) and salads. You pay between 10.- and 12.- CHF for a good sized focaccia. Good to know, they have a big terrace upstairs! You really should try!

Yelp
One of the few actual nice places to eat in St. Gallen The Foccaceria is located in the heart of the city, conveniently situated between the university and the central bus station. The good points: The place is nice for small groups or couples, situated on two floors with two terrasses (one on the second floor and one at the entrance). Ambiance and decor are very simple, but cosy. The way it works is that you get in, stand in line and choose a Foccacia size (small, mid and large breads) and choose you fillings. The cheeses and charcuterie are very good and in great varieties, and the vegetables are fresh. You can mix and match whatever you want! Prices are reasonable, given the good ingredients. The "can do better" The place is small and service is slow or forgetful.

Yelp
If it's a bit cold outside and you need a little something to eat the restaurant Focacceria is a good place to go. They have a nice variety of dishes. Aside the Focaccia which can be "customized" with various topics, they also offer very good soups, salads and antipasti. People siting on the entrance floor needs to go order their meak at the counter but if you prefer to be served, simply go sit upstairs in the "restaurant" area. Quality of food and prices are very good.

Yelp
Simply delicious and eat sandwiches. I've only been here once but was already shocked at how many options you have to choose from for meats, cheese, breads and other fixings. Great simple and relatively cheap. This is a sandwich (subway-ish) style restaurant but the folks at the counter were all generally very nice and the decor was also very hip and modern. Will definitely be back
