Every cup of coffee here is made with so much care and love — it really feels like a piece of artwork in a cup. The space is lovely and cosy, the perfect place to take a little break from the hustle and bustle of the world. It’s calm, welcoming, and instantly makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. The young team are genuinely lovely — friendly, passionate, and clearly proud of what they do. You can taste that passion in the coffee. Highly recommended to anyone visiting or living in Kendal. Once you find it, you’ll want to come back again and again ☕️✨

Many locals come here to enjoy a cup of coffee while working on their laptops. All time fav coffee shop in Kendal/ south lakes! Such a cosy interior & very tasty coffee. Bakery always slaps & smoothies highly recommend! Dog friendly too 🤍

I've been coming to Fold for a while after wanting somewhere to work before appointments in Kendal. It's got a great scandi feel, shared "work" spaces and comfy spaces. The coffee is excellent, staff friendly, and even better now I've moved here I can gym and then roll nextdoor for delicious porridge or overnight oats etc which fill me up perfectly post workout. Prices comparable to other Kendal high end "proper" coffee places. Great community space - kids, dogs, grownups all welcome. Parking across at Lidl is easy, some limited spaces out front.

Best coffee in Kendal - and in a lovely environment & atmosphere. Service is fantastic, the most friendly staff and customers alike. Plenty of nice people always in there, often with their beautiful dogs which are always up for a good petting! What more could you need! Food is great. Slightly addicted to the tuna melts Plenty of desk spaces to work from there too which I often do

Don’t be put off by the location (situated in the middle of an industrial estate), as Fold serves some of the best coffee and hot chocolate we tried in the Lakes. Friendly service and would highly recommend.

Recently moved from London, having worked in the coffee trade - I was genuinely impressed by this place. The Modbar setup is sleek, Red Bank coffee is a great choice, and the baristas are clearly well-trained. Staff are spot on: friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. A top-tier coffee experience and I would think you would struggle to find a better cup in Cumbria

Stopped here twice for coffee and both brews were delicious. Their ceramic cups (for drink in drinks) are gorgeous too. Super service, lovely mod-bar, cosy seats and a wood burner. Lovely jubbly.
