Made a reservation for 2pm on a Saturday, and when we parked, there was someone waiting to seat us. I believe our pourer is Alisha, and she is very sweet. We didn't know we couldn't bring outside food in (different wineries differ in their rules), and we had brought a picnic...which we weren't allowed to eat. This was bad...because I didn't think I'd last if I didn't have some food. So we got the charcuterie plate (which is....fine), and our server very graciously comped it for us because she felt bad we couldn't eat our pre-packed food.
The wines were good. As I have said in other reviews, I really know nothing about wines and will drink just about anything, so this is all sort of lost on me. A tasting, which gives you 5-6 wines, is $30 (eegads), but if you buy two bottles, one of the tastings is comped.
After, we did a little picnic outside of their tasting room on one of their picnic tables (where you CAN eat your own food), and took a (perhaps unauthorized) stroll through the vineyards, which was very nice.
Oh, one very sad incident happened during the tasting. On the outside patio, they have (a bit inexplicably, maybe it's to block out the wind?) these clear windows that surround the perimeter of their patio. Near the end of our tasting, there was this *THUNK* behind us. A bird had flown right into the clear plexiglass and had fallen with its neck in a....not great position, on its back. We moved it into the shade and hope he was just stunned.....he was still there, and still standing by the time we left. So....fingers crossed. [sigh]
Parking is on site and easy, and the bathrooms are on site and clean. Yep, I'm starting to review the bathrooms too. Stuff like that is important.
