Folia Hotel Apartments

Just returned to Norway after our second visit at Folia this summer. As always,a perfect stay at this wonderful, familyrun hotel. Nikos and Giannis are fantastic hosts and very helpful of all kind of questions you may have. Its location, only 5 min walk from the mainstreet, is perfect. It is so quiet and peaceful. We look forward to a longer stay at this lovely hotel next year.||Inger-Marie and Rolf

Where do we start, this hotel is a must if you are visiting Crete. The two brothers Giannis and Nikos are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and so quaint. |We didn’t have the breakfast as we don’t eat until later but it looked delicious. We went to the beach every day which was only around a 10 minute walk. We sat around the pool on our last day as we had to vacate the room by 1.30pm (we paid a bit extra for this) and the pool area was so clean and quiet. The weather was gorgeous and the pool area was like a sun trap, the pool its self was spotless.|The restaurant’s in the surrounding area are beautiful and the food lovely. If we ever go back to Crete we would 100% stay here again.

Giannis was an incredible host. from the moment we arrived he had already walked down the entranceway to come greet us. the room was beautiful, amazing view from the balcony and was thoroughly cleaned every day. Location was perfect - plenty to do nearby and use as a hub if going slightly further for day trips. The location is close enough to the shops that you're only a short walk away, but without any of the problems of staying on the main road. There is a breakfast buffet option available that we didn't try, but we never felt pressured to buy it and instead found our own alternative. Overall a 5* experience for service, location and value, would definitely return.

The best hotel in Agia Marina, so relaxing, so beautiful. Family owned who are so kind and helpfull. It's always great to comeback here, a place in my heart. A fantastic place and great views and the flowers are so well kept. Thanks for the great holiday as usual.

We loved our 4 night stay here! The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was a highlight for us, and the service was above and beyond. The owners were so helpful with questions and were very accommodating. We loved being able to walk to tons of restaurants and the beach. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Just returned from a great week at Folia, we booked this accommodation after seeing previous good reviews and we were not disappointed.|The hosts were super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The ladies serving at the pool bar were always smiling and happy to serve you.|The bed was lovely and comfortable definitely the best we have ever had in Greece We had a sea view room and the view from our balcony was beautiful, the perfect place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. |The pool area is a lovely sun trap with the comfiest sun loungers and a great pool bar, the lunch time snacks were very tasty and excellent value.|We only had breakfast on one day as we are not big eaters in the morning the breakfast we had was brilliant and had an excellent choice of food, good value for money.|The whole building looks so beautiful and well cared for with lovely plants and garden areas.|The location is close to the old town where we ate at several excellent tavernas, also close to the beach and the main strip. I can't fault the Folia in any way and would highly recommend it.

Stayed here last year and we were so impressed we came back again this year for our 2 week break.|Both brothers Giannis and Nicos go out of their way to make you feel welcome. |One morning I came down to the pool but all the sun beds were taken, one of the bar staff noticed immediately, alerted Nicos who brought one out for me.|The apartment complex displays many colourful flowers, proudly attended to each morning by the brother’s father.We cannot recommend Folia Apartments highly enough.

We chose this hotel due to the amazing reviews, and it did not fail. The hotel|Is beautiful and clean, staff friendly and tentative. It’s situated on a little hill in a peaceful area. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity you will find it here.
