"A Rock Café in the Heart of Malmö Leave it to the coolest, hippest country on the planet to come up with a cool concept like that. Sweden, you keep surprising me. Imagine a ultra-modern record shop in the heart of a touristy, busy medieval square. Imagine a mouth-watering café that offers cakes each more delicious than the other, and a plethora of imported coffee. Imagine a fabulous soundtrack, that goes from the classic grunge hits to the indie Swedish hits. This place is called Folk A Rock - it's an ode to rock music that shares a passion with traditional fika and appreciates the beauty of its historical neighborhood. I've never seen anything quite like it - not that I would expect to. Sweden, in all things fashion, music, and, well, just about anything really, has a secret recipe for these types of things that few can rival. These über, effortlessly cool types of things. One one hand, it kind of makes you want to hate Sweden and remain green with envy. But on the other hand, the result is always way too fun to overlook, especially in the case of Folk A Rock. If you're an indie music lover with a sweet tooth, this may just be your heaven on Earth."
A beautiful and fascinating stop in Malmö, for every music lover.
It has music (loads of it, for all kinds and tastes) and food + beverage. Staff is really dedicated to what they do and we felt welcomed.
Thank you!

Nice Place. The Coffee is very good.
Also you need to visit the upper floor. There are many different things from Posters to patches/buttons and vinyl all through the Rock universe!

Cute little bar, various of beer for everyone. Nice to sit and have a chat with friends. The design is rock, some vinyls, CDs and posters everywhere. I liked it a lot!

Nice young lady on the bar informed me of the local brew and young chap informed me of the local team's greatness. In honesty this is a pit stop but nothing negative to say. Also a decent salami salad roll.

Lovely independent cafe. Great cup of proper ‘builder’s tea’ - best I’ve had outside the UK. Cake selection small but cardamom bun was perfect. Very chilled. Would be 5 stars but we waited a while for the record store to open at 11am and no sign of it. Left with a disappointed husband around 11.15am.

Yelp
Cool record store where you can shop latest releases as well as classic vinyls.
Decent selection across multiple genres and reasonable prices. If you're thirsty after shopping you can go downstairs to grab a drink and chill out with a great view onto the market place of Malmö.

Yelp
A cafe downstairs and record store upstairs. I didn't try any of the food or drink, but the selection of music upstairs was great. A good mix of CDs and vinyl. I was able to pick up some great finds.
I didn't like though that many boxsets and other items were stacked behind the counter, making it very hard to see what they had in stock.

Yelp
I like this cafe/record/bookstore!! I enjoyed a delicious Salmon Salad and beers. They also host bands. Overall an interesting place to visit. Stop by Folk å Rock for a quick bite sometime. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I cannot really make an accurate review of this place since I just went in to look at the CD selection.
It seems to be more folk than rock - depending on what you call rock. I didn't go upstairs, they might have more modern rock there, I don't know.
Downstairs it was folk music, country and rock from the 50's.
Part of the shop is a coffee shop that seemed to be popular. Not crowded though.

Yelp
Perfectly OK place to have a glass of beer under the sun in the bustling Lilla Torg. Perhaps kinda touristy, but where else you go in this small town?
The shop itself is interesting since you can buy records and get cakes, coffee and beer at the same time. I guess we've moved past doing laundry and have brunch stage.

Yelp
Dude working here was super nice. Pizza wasn't bad, and decent bottles of Swedish beer. Happy with this choice over the 5 in the square

Yelp
Folk o Rock rocks. The best place on Lilla Torg for some tasty sandwiches, soup, burgers. Great deserts too and the tea and coffee is top notch. For a healthy kick go for the carrot and ginger juice - damn good. F o R is also a good spot for a beer and a brilliant venue for their selection of eclectic gigs.

Yelp
I really like the place and its atmosphere. They know music and all styles of music. This is no spotify but real life with people talking to you and advising you as a customer.
