A very underrated museum about the Styrian culture and life from the past till now told through several themes like transportation or communication. The museum gets you to think about how things were like. There was a real wealth of information - we spent 1hour and think it's not enough despite it being a small museum. Student tickets available. Only suggestion is to give more context to what they have written and tell it more like a story. And also there was nothing on colonialism besides something on chickens in ghana. Even the holocaust was only very briefly touched upon. There are english descriptions which we appreciated.

There are exhibitions, there is a church and a library(was closed when I visited). I can clearly suggest this museum, if you are interested in the local culture and history. I spent almost two hours in the museum.

This museum has an interesting concept of telling a story about Graz and Styria in an unusual manner (mostly) without expensive artifacts. Howevere, many of the items displayed have a story behind them. The pearls are the "smoke room", a wooden bicycle and replicas of historic clothes. It takes 1 - 2 hours to experience the museum properly. It's surely worth of a visit.

Rather small museum. The highlights are the the small peasant house that was moved to the site a century ago and the collection of traditional clothing. The costumes are in an adjoining building which is connected through a passage with an automatic door.

Cool place to visit and walk when almost everything else is closed (typical Sunday in Austria). Parking is free on Sundays, which is a bonus :) View is amazing. Do not use elevator. Stairs are way to go. You will figure out why :) I will go again. Recomended.

A small museum about people and cultures of Gratz and Styria. The costume exhibition is wonderful. The others are very interesting, but surrounded by strange modern exhibitions. The link between them isn't easy to understand.

The impression really depends on what you are interested in. Museum is quite good if you wanna know more about Austrian history (how people lived in villages and so), not so interesting if you are not too much into that. Overally a nice museum to see.
