Folly Beach Chair Co. created the most perfect beach day for my bachelorette party! They were so kind and helpful too! We booked yoga on the beach, charcuterie picnic, chairs, umbrellas, and cornhole. Start to finish, it was perfection! The design of the table was truly beautiful complete with fresh flowers. Yoga with Olivia was a great way to start our day of relaxation after a couple of nights out in Charleston. It was the highlight of the trip and we didn’t want our beach day to end!

Super fun experience. We did a morning yoga class with Olivia which was an amazing way to start the day. They’ve recently added an adorable picnic with pillows and a canopy and it was delicious and so much easier than packing everything ourselves. Perfect for our bachelorette trip. The entire staff was great to work with. 10/10 would do this again.

What an awesome service to provide for beach goers at Folly! I booked two chairs and one umbrella for our first beach and and enjoyed it so much that we ended up booking them for the next day too! Super easy to navigate the website to make a red ahead of time OR if you’re by the pier you can just walk up and rent them day of. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the chairs were nice and accommodating for big bodies. I will most definitely book with Folly Beach Chair Company the next time I visit!

I booked one of the Bachelorette packages recently and it was so perfect! There were 14 of us but the 10 pack was honestly sufficient for our group. Showing up on the beach and our chairs and umbrellas already being set up for us was LIFE CHANGING. The cooler and ice was such a bonus as well. Would definitely rent again!

Visited Folly Beach. My husband forgot to bring sun shade. Tried to call Folly Beach Chair Company to inquire about a rental. No answer. Sat under an umbrella until someone came to check me in. Asked me if I had been checked in. I said no. Asked me if I have a reservation. I said no. Explained to me about the process. Explained there may not be any availability. Explained that I could go over to ask about availability at the flag. No problem I can move my few things that were in the seat beside me and wait for help to move the rest of my things farther away from the rental. She then spoke to the couple beside me who had the same problem. I was fine up until this point. They, like me did not have a reservation but were told they could sit in a rental in the back row tentatively until availability was known. I was not given this same courtesy. The renters beside my things show up. The person responsible associated with the chair company says ,”Unfortunately, we are going to have to move over.” I am now in the process of moving my things at least six feet away from the rental. I would have gone to at least rent an umbrella, but because of the rude behavior, I would rather get a sunburn. Meanwhile….I have never used a chair rental (so I don’t know how it works until I talk to someone which I could not do) because I always have my own. Please use better customer service. I know it’s frustrating if people are just trying to take advantage, but be mindful that some people just don’t know. I would have given more stars because the rentals are not bad at all. Thanks Folly because “unfortunately “ I wouldn’t rent from you today if you paid me.

Folly Beach Chair Company set up a post wedding brunch for us on the beach and it turned out absolutely amazing. We had approximately 50 people at the event and they helped me pick and choose the correct packages + add on additional chairs, umbrellas, etc until we had the perfect amount of seating and shade. We also rented coolers and ice from them. It was truly a one stop shop. They set everything up well before we arrived to the beach and packed everything up when the event was over. We didn’t lift a finger. I would highly recommend using them.

Folly Beach was so much fun. We enjoyed it more than Isle of Palms. Definitely recommend making a reservation with Folly Beach Chair rental. They had our chairs and umbrella set up when we arrived. The beach offers showers and dressing rooms with bathrooms upstIrs by the pier. There are tons of sea shells 🐚 if you like to find those. The beach is dog friendly too.

Every time I go to Folly, I pre-book my chairs and umbrellas online, and then when I show up for my first beach day, there's my little shady, comfy compound with sturdy, high-quality canvas umbrellas and awesome steamer chairs with leg rests, ready for me and my loved ones to enjoy. Can't recommend this small, local, family-owned business highly enough! The owners and their kids are a local family that lives on the island, and they give back to the community in really cool ways. Love it!
