"A Place to Listen, Learn, and Shop The best creative spaces should be hard to describe. And that’s the case with this building in East Nashville that hosts a record store, a vintage décor shop, a local designer’s boutique, and a backyard area where bands play on a separate front porch under a string of paper lanterns and before an audience sipping beer and sometimes sitting in the grass."

I live just 2 miles from Fond Object and have been meaning to go since they opened. I finally went and sadly I was disappointed. The space is nice and all. But the LP selection was dismal. It was very hard to really find anything and most of their albums I feel I could find at a garage sale for .50 cents. Opposed to their $20+ dollars for bands that NO ONE wants. The clothing side / antique electronics looked like a storage unit. Poorly organized record players stacked on top of each other. Just seemed like they are selling the stuff just cause they have it. Not because they actually care to sell it. Was really hoping for more but sadly this place is not it. Just a little over a mile down the road is Vinyl Tap., They have an amazing selection of music very well organized "not the cheapest" but you can get a beer and shop for music. I will probably never come back to Fond Object especially with all the options in the surrounding area.

i recently visited this location while on vacation, and i loved it! the staff was very polite when i came in, and let me have my time to browse the records. most of it was vintage, which was what i was looking for because i don’t have many, but i picked up a classic Disney record, which was in amazing condition. when visiting Nashville, i totally recommend for you to check this spot out if you want vintage records. you won’t be disappointed! :-)

Nice little store that has records from all eras. It's a hipster spot and you definitely get the vibe. But the guy knows his stuff and obviously loves music. Wish it was bigger though. They can utilize the other rooms that don't have records.

Awesome vibe in the store, amazingly funny petting zoo and nighttime concert venue in the backyard. Lots of indie bands and major acts to pick from but they're almost completely missing a collection of Hip-Hop, Reggae and other black music. Kinda suspect but for the indie/rock scene, this place is killer.

This is a cool little place with a great selection of records and vintage items and clothes. The music venue in the back is intimate and let's you bring your own drinks - has the vibe of hanging out in your backyard combined with a chill college party.

Cool place with affordable records and vintage clothing. The art exhibition was also intriguing. There's no longer a pig and a goat to meet, but there were some cute dogs. Very laid back!

Played a gig in the back. Super nice staff. Funky cool kinda creepy old house. I lived it!

Incredibly thorough and eclectic selection of music available on all formats; they also do a steady trade in mid-century clothes, tchotchkes, etc. And even if neither of those were the case, they have a pet pig, which, obviously, would be enough.
