Without doubt, the most interesting and historical hotel I've ever stayed in, and one of my very favourites. I couldn't recommend this hotel more - though I hate praising it so much as part of me wants to keep it secret, all to myself, for when I return, as I definitely shall.||We upgraded our room while booking and for the incredibly cheap price of €70 a night we got a huge room with a bathroom (I fell in love with the sink and ancient taps). The beds were very comfortable, and it was just wonderful to be able to lie in bed and admire the old wooden shutters and look out on the old roof tiles ---------------- this hotel is so full of history it's hard to know where to start! Shutters, doors, beams are all wooden and very old and the owner (manager?) told us a lot about the history: about the horses being stabled downstairs in what is now the bar, about the travellers who stayed there in 1566 (I think). I felt like I was living in a museum, in the best possible way. I loved it. ||The bar downstairs is also a joy to spend time in as the owner (?) /barman plays fantastic music and loves chatting to the customers --------- you can see how much he enjoys his work and he fills the room with infectious happiness. ||There is no lift or access for those who can't climb stairs but I would hate to see a lift installed, even though I've huge difficulty with climbing stairs. The lovely woman who was cleaning helped me with my suitcase though and the stairs and landings are so full of old artefacts and photos and newspaper cuttings, I just took my time and never minded the stairs.||||

Great bar, cheap prices and lovely, friendly staff. Fab atmosphere.|A cut above some of Teruel more morosely crewed establishments, recommended. Great location at North end of town centre.|My favourite bar in Teruel town and, if you like sports, there are numerous screens around the bar.

Best bar in Teruel, they even had a JJ. Cale live album playing last night, amongst an array of fabulous blues and jazz music.......and it's considerably cheaper than the other bars in town.|Lovely staff and plenty of visible screens if you want to watch the football. |It was my favourite bar in Teruel.

This is a 16th century Inn, very rustic full of original features, do not expect modern as this place does not do modern. The rooms are comfortable and with very dated furniture but this adds to the charm. Toilet / bathroom facilities are clean but very dated pluming, however it all works so not a problem. The bar area is full of antiques, and was full of locals each night we were there, this added to its charm. The hosts were very helpful when it came to local knowledge and made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay.Take a look at their web site photos, im sure you will see the charm of this Inn. Lets hope they do not modernise. two nights only 60euros for 2of us CHEAP.or what.

Wow, what a great find. Lovely old building with charm and character, rooms were decorated kitsch and with taste. The tavern downstairs also offers superb entertainment as the locals break bread and put the world to rest.

A one night stay on our way further South, our room was at the top with a small balcony,it was plain but clean and comfortable very suitable if you have a dog with you as we did. Bed was comfortable and we slept well and woke refreshed. Parking is a couple of minutes away and cost 1.20 euro for the night. We received a 2 euro discount ticket for a plate of cheese, meat and bread which was very tasty. This building is very old and just oozes history and recommend that you spend some time in the bar with the locals. ||,

Great value sleepover. Would only do one night however. 16 century building with loads of charm. Very central but does need some cosmetic work and perhaps rewiring to modern standards. Internet cagey and heating only comes on at 8 if you ask. It didn't stop us enjoying our visit to Teruel but it was memorable.
