Fondouk Bazaar

We liked this place so much we went back twice. Delicious food, such an interesting menu with a real and successful twist on traditional Moroccan food. The service team are outstanding; relaxed and friendly but without missing a beat. We tried almost everything on the starters menu and it was all delicious with a special shout out to the veggie fritters, the cucumber salad and the Lebanese "cigars". For mains, the saffron and orange chicken was cooked perfectly and was full of flavour and the duck confit pastilla really stood out. Desserts? Yes. My favourite was the hot chocolate fondant, I have never tasted better. The pistachio cheesecake was also delicious. The downstairs restaurant has a real buzzy atmosphere and the rooftop terrace is relaxed and perfect for an evening of good food and service. The best food in Fes.

A last minute choice but a wonderful one! Great food in a really cozy environment. Staff were so welcoming and helpful, really made our evening. Beautiful rooftop terrace but we had someone in crutches who couldn’t go up. However the seat we did get was so cozy. The food was so great, we ordered more!! Loved the beef and the chicken. The Lebanese cigars were sooo cheesy and tasty. Highly recommend!! ❤️

We had amazing food and a lovely afternoon on the sunny upstairs terrace. The food was excellent (green shakshuka and cauliflower salad our favorites), and the staff were so attentive and kind. After I spilled water all over my envelope of postcards, a staff member even went out of his way to get me another envelope. Delicious food, a beautiful space, and truly lovely staff!

Probably the best place we ate in whole Marocco. The place is beautiful with great atmosphere and service. They have great combinations for every dish. We ate lebanese cigars (you have to order this and double portion), veggie friters (also excellent), babaganoush, cucumber salad (GREAT),creamy hummus (casual hummus nothing special), sardine balls tagine (good) and for the dessert we had cheese cake (amazing) and apple and spice tarte tatin (also very good). We ate twice in this restaurant and we stayed in Fes for day and a half so that says it all😇

A beautiful restaurant with excellent dishes - we tried almost all starters (meze) and every single one is really good, especially the lebanese cigars. Duck pastilla is also very good. After we enjoyed the first dinner in Fes so much, we decided to come back again and tried other stuff like creamy hummus (regular hummus, nothing special) and sardine mestballs tajine which was very good. The ambient is very nice, the rooftop is very pleasent.

Easy 5 star review! The place is very clean, organized, with a very calm atmosphere on the rooftop. The staff is very helpful, every dish that we took was very tasty with no exaggerations, including the deserts. The prices are reasonable and they have a very professional website for the menu with accurate pictures.It is definitely an experience that everyone that visits Fes has to try!

A lovely rooftop cafe with delicious food. We shared an array of small plates and we each had fresh lemonade which was quite refreshing. The baba ganoush, fried vegetables, and sweet and sour chicken nuggets were especially tasty. Friendly service and reasonable prices. A nice break from more standard Moroccan fare.

Great food, drinks, and a beautiful terrace! Fondouk Bazaar is a lovely spot to relax in the heart of Fès. The food and drinks were excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The terrace is stunning, with a perfect view and great ambiance, especially at sunset. Highly recommend for a relaxed meal or evening drink!
