Finally, I've arrived in Aix-en-Provence! My husband stayed here as an exchange student 35 years ago, so I heard it so much that my ears resembled them. It reminds me of Florence in Italy, where I studied. It was a really clean and tidy city. There are hidden treasure-like places in every alley, so I hope you take your time to visit. If you've come to France, don't miss Aix-en-Provence! You can get there in 30 minutes from Marseille! At first, I was curious because there was no water in the fountain, but it was because of the lighting. I strongly recommend it!!!

Nice area to walk around. Many beautiful and cozy cafes. Open markets during some of the week days and weekends.

great vibe and armosphere, the restaurants around the circle have an amazing scenery. One of the trees is home to beautiful green parrots which is pretty crazy.

The main first ever fountain you’ll see when you arrive! Very beautiful i think i can spend minutes just looking at it!

Big wide open square surrounding an impressively big fountain. Makes for a great start to the entrance into the old city, as well as the colorful vender lined boulevard. Worth walking around it to appreciate the statuary.

Must see fountain! Beautiful city. Be sure to watch an Argonauts game if you are there during the season!

Beneath the southern sun, she stands - a fountain crowned in stone and spray, where lions keep eternal watch and water dreams its endless way. In her mist, old stories breathe; the city pauses, hearts grown still. Aix begins and ends right here. In quiet grace, and Provençal will.
