Fontaine de la Rotonde

Big wide open square surrounding an impressively big fountain. Makes for a great start to the entrance into the old city, as well as the colorful vender lined boulevard. Worth walking around it to appreciate the statuary.

Nice area to walk around. Many beautiful and cozy cafes. Open markets during some of the week days and weekends.

great vibe and armosphere, the restaurants around the circle have an amazing scenery. One of the trees is home to beautiful green parrots which is pretty crazy.

Must see fountain! Beautiful city. Be sure to watch an Argonauts game if you are there during the season!

I love Aix! It’s only 30 minutes from my place and such an amazing spot to visit. Great restaurants, and the local market every morning is wonderful with so many fresh and local products. The only issue is parking—it’s really difficult, especially during peak hours. Best to come early so you can find a space and enjoy the town.

Beneath the southern sun, she stands - a fountain crowned in stone and spray, where lions keep eternal watch and water dreams its endless way. In her mist, old stories breathe; the city pauses, hearts grown still. Aix begins and ends right here. In quiet grace, and Provençal will.

Like pretty much everything in Aix it's beautiful. And that could be said about what you see going round each corner, street or avenue - a truly great city - built in art
