Fonteverde

Without a doubt a stunning location and beautiful property (exterior). Rooms and breakfast felt as thought they fell short of the price point being charged. Room was dusty, ac temp was controlled by reception and shower was very small and did not drain. If you are after a beautiful location and facilities this property is great. We went for dinner in the village which was excellent. Check in was fantastic and the staff member was very helpful in all aspects of showing around the property and advice.

The one think that sets this place apart from some of the other places I have stayed at is the exceptional customer service. I arrived late at night and they were kind enough to bring us food at 2 in the night. They helped arrange for all the wine tastings nearby and provided great recommendations. The spa experience is out of this world. The only minor thing I felt was lacking was good food to match the amazing experience this place has to offer.

My girlfriend, our dog & myself recently spent one week in Fonteverde to do sports & relax. What we liked (a lot): - the scenic infinitiy pools, overlooking the typical Tuscany landscape were purely amazing - large SPA outside area, perfect for relaxing - the very kind, helpful & professional employees in every area of the hotel - perfectly isolated rooms; we didn’t hear anything from our neighbors - Good equipped gym Where we see room for improvement: - it‘s great to be able to order drinks and food via QR code via phone from your sunbed at the pool, but the prices for some things are just off (12€ for a toast with cheese and ham) & there were only two types of food - some of the dishes in the restaurant weren‘t really what we hoped for, given the hotel itself & its reputation - some outside areas would need some maintenance and or refurbishment Overall a nice & relaxing stay, we‘d come back.

The dinner at the resort was outstanding with an excellent menu selection. The food excelled in quality, taste and variety with excellent service. I would recommend this for a formal dining experience of the first order. |The dining room was lovely and quiet enough that our party of six could hear each other without raising our voices. A lovely dinner experience.

the whole experience was unforgettable. An enchanted place of incredible beauty. I would like to make a special mention of Agostino's massages. He has magic in his hands. during the massage I had visions, like those you have during meditation and he was so good that at a certain point I had the sensation that there were three people massaging me instead of one.

The food was tasteless for a great restaurant like this one. Way below italian standards. They said food was sacred, did not feel like we were in Italy. Very very disappointing. The service was courteous, but that's it.

Booked a room at Fonteverde with a balcony for $750 per night for two nights through hotels.com and offered a dark room with a small ground floor patio upon arrival. The window faced a wall. Had to pay an additional $100 per night to upgrade to a room with a balcony. Restaurant on premises was terrible. Every aspect of hotel hopelessly dated and tired. Entire experience felt like a weird throwback to the 1960s. Seems to be popular with a lot of Italians.

We just returned from 3 days at the amazing spa resort.||From the motorway it's quite an amazing drive with beautiful views. On arrival, the double gates let you into a magical place.||We were greeted as we drove up to the reception, bags taken right away and car keys over to valet ||Check in was so smooth, the staff were expericed.||We were given a lovely sized room with views to die for (see images)||Off we went to the spa, we were given a tour of all the different areas. We got through all the different experiences and I must say, they were all amazing||The staff in the spa are so experienced and know about all the treatments||My wife and I picked one, which was magical||Dinner was special, the staff are amazing. Such attention to detail||Returning to room and of course it's been turned down ready for bed.||Breakfast has a great range, and buy the way you can go to breakfast in your robe which you'll spend all day in||Overall 5 out of 5 for spa, staff, cleanliness and overall experince. Can't wait to go back!

We did not stay here since we were in our own villa but instead stopped by for a drink at their fantastic bar. The setting is very elegant without being overly garish and there is plenty of seating, both at the bar and in the lounge. Drinks were a bit pricey but to be considered as it is a 4 star hotel. Staff was pleasant and we enjoyed the cocktails (I had a negroni). Some interesting shops off the lounge including a very good wine boutique featuring some vintage high end Tuscan wines at good prices. Well worth a visit.
