Steve Albini’s Grub Street Diet

"A small noodle bar tucked behind the high‑limit Baccarat and Pai Gow tables inside the casino that serves very good noodles and standout roast duck, prepared in a straightforward, satisfying style and served with rice. The barbecue‑pork bao are tasty but benefit from an extra drizzle of chili sauce to fully come to life; the duck, by contrast, needs nothing but the rice to be extremely satisfying." - Chris Crowley

Yum yum for my tum tum! Good quick eats. A little pricey, but you’re at the casino…so. Salt and pepper pork chops very good. Pan fried steamed dumplings yum. Spicy sauce is everything. Sweet chili sauce is also good. Must try!

The lady at the counter took our dine in order was very nice. She brought out our food and remembered our drinks before I had to ask. It was the food quality that shook me. The beef noodle soup was mushy over cooked noodles and beef that was 85% fat that I had to spit out or pick out by hand. The orange chicken was lukewarm with ice cold broccoli and nothing was seasoned. I know late night eats are risky but it was prior to an hour before close at a crowded casino and to be that expensive and be that level of terrible is wild. Nice lady at the counter, please know this doesn't reflect you, you were great.

Scallions Chicken was the ONLY authentic Chinese dish. But now, it sucks as well as the rest on the menu.

Got the salt and pepper pork chop, dumplings, fried chicken wings and pho. Went on a Wednesday and it was fast and the food was delicious. Our server Sara was awesome and kind of will definitely be back.

We Stopped here for a midnight snack and was pleasantly surprised. I had the BEST beef fried rice that I have tasted in years! I was in my happy place😋

After a splendid performance at the Venue, we decided to try Foo Noodle Bar at the Horseshoe Casino. Despite the bustling casino environment, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was clean and modest, setting a comfortable atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The menu, though not extensive, offered a decent selection of dishes. I tried the beef and noodles along with pork egg rolls, while other members of my party sampled a variety of dishes. The food was pleasant and reasonably priced, although not exceptional or gourmet. The service was commendable, with our orders taken and delivered promptly. However, there was some confusion as different staff members were taking drink and food orders, requiring us to repeat our orders. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall service was quite efficient. Considering the convenient location within the casino and the decent quality of food, Foo Noodle Bar offers a satisfactory dining experience. It's a practical choice for a quick, uncomplicated meal after enjoying the casino's entertainment options.

After the Kem concert at the Horseshoe Casino, on Saturday, November 11, 2023. My daughter and I decided to grab something to eat at the Foo Noodle bar. The service was horrible. We were seated, but no one never came back to take our order. I got up to look for someone to take our order. Finally, I spoke with someone to place our order. The waiting continues before we even received our food. Other people were also waiting for some assistance. We finally got our food, and we had to wait for the receipt. I had to locate the waiter to get the receipt. Once I got the receipt, we were charged more than what the price we saw on the menu. Me and the waiter disagreed for a moment, and then the receipt was corrected. I would not eat there again. In all honesty, I would give zeros through and through but the system would not allow me to do so.

The old menu was the best. Not sure what happened the spicy shrimp noodle soup was 🔥 but they no longer make it sad.
