My husband and I were staying two nights in Lewisburg and noticed Food and Friends in our restaurant search. Several reviews mentioned being turned away for not having a reservation, but at lunch time, we were quickly seated. Also mentioned in some reviews was rudeness from the waitstaff. However our server, Miss Kim, could not possibly have been nicer! She was prompt, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the salad sampler and although I personally didn't care for the frozen fruit salad or the imitation crab, the chicken salad was wonderful. My husband ordered the fried mushrooms, which were terrific with the fresh ranch dressing, and the grilled pineapple and chicken on mixed greens that he says was very good. For dessert, we chose a box of handcrafted chocolate truffles from the hostess case. Yum! We would definitely come back if we're ever in Lewisburg again.

Had a girlfriend’s day out and stopped in here for dinner. Hadn’t been there for years. Still nice atmosphere and awesome food. The restaurant doesn’t open for dinner until 4:30 and even though it was raining they did not unlock the door until 4:30 on the dot. The hostess seemed bothered by us and was very curt when I asked for a certain table. She said you need a reservation for those! Took us all a little by surprise. Just very sharp with her tone. But with that being said the server we had was awesome and made us feel very welcome. The food was hot and delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. We all left with boxes. Too much to eat in one setting. One of our ladies got the friend chicken salad and loved it. Everyone else opted for steaks. Highly recommend this place. Just try to make a reservation first!

We eat here every time we are in Lewisburg. The food is five star. The oysters are some of best I’ve had.

Amazing spot with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. The menu has a variety of creative options and everything we tried was delicious.

My husband and I are in Lewisburg, WV on business! Food & Friends was recommended by our contact at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and it didn’t disappoint! It was the best meal we’ve had in our 3 weeks in the state! We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress Crystal was there immediately! Her service and attention to us was unmatched! She was friendly and efficient; a service professional and a natural at making a customer’s dining experience pleasurable! We ordered the Crab Cake appetizer and it was one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had! It was perfect. We had drinks which were a bit small but very well mixed. The Caesar Salads were fresh and the dressing was delicious! For entrees, we had the Shrimp Three ways and the Chicken Parmigiana. Both were simply delicious! We had enough to take home for a second meal! We invited Crystal to come for a vacation visit in Miami, we hope she takes us up on our offer! Good & Friends is A1!

I visited this restaurant for New Years and ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken. To my surprise it was very greasy, tough and poorly cooked. Also, prices at this establishment are way out of line for the type/location of restaurant. The Pecan Crusted Chicken was priced at $29. This was for an 8 oz breast, a small serving of vegetable melody and a small, hard baked potato. All of these raw items could be purchased a local grocery for roughly $4. Given that they are a business, I'm sure they also have sources for better pricing, thus raw costs should be less. This restaurant gets a two and a half stars from me CURRENTLY and most of the rating is for the exceptional wait staff. I would be open to giving this establishment another go to see if I would have the same experience. Perhaps the second time around would be better. Fingers crossed.

This a nice local restaurant with a good variety of food. We shared the lasagne and it came with salad and bread. The salad was really good and came with corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, and dressing. It was a pretty good salad for being on the side. The French bread had a nice butter and garlic flavor. Nice and toasted. 4 pieces were provided. The lasagna came in its own crock with melted cheese on top. There were layers of cheese, sauce, noodles, and meat. Very good flavor, but I could have used a bit more meat, but that's just my preference. The restaurant atmosphere is a little dated, but it is clean. They have a very inviting candy counter.

Had a very nice dinner with friends! Great selections offered. Our server Abby was very accommodating & gave us the whole introduction to the menu! Gave us recommendations on wine & appetizers. Very kind staff and wonderful menu. Close to the interstate and gasoline. Selection of boutiques near by as well.
