Great staff, fantastic grab & go sandwich selection. I enjoyed the seating outside to eat in the sunshine! Best fresh produce items! The lettuce greens, broccoli, purple cauliflower, & radishes were amazing with very reasonable prices! Thank you!

I went to look at the oils and health supplies but stopped to look at the food along the way, it was good to see all the options they had and they carry items that regular stores usually don't. On top of that the service was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The garden was nice to look at and they even had a little seating area.

Excellent food staple for Tucson. Has everything a local and a visitor needs to stay healthy including fresh produce, grab and go items, hot food bar, soup, and some great holistic wellness selections. They have a couple of local dark chocolate selections that I loved as well. Don’t be intimidated by Co Ops like this if you’ve never shopped at one. They’re always feel-good, welcoming and healthy grocery stops!

I use to really love this place. I am even a member. But things changed lately. A lot of the prices have increased insanely, I get it it’s inflation everywhere but some prices have tripled. They also started to ban dogs which is the worst. That was my favorite part about the coop. I also think it’s an anti-homeless policy. Kinda of sad cause that’s the only bikable grocery store in this part of town.

Stopped by as suggested by a friend that lives in the area. Got a cinnamon roll and a brown sugar scone to eat in the patio. Checked out the EV chargers in the parking lot on my way out.

Popped in to use the bathroom and loved it so much we bought lunch, some snacks, and had a delightful chat with the people working there. Top notch place for groceries or a quick treat. And Colin, good luck with that band of yours!

Google
Fantastic employees who are not too busy to help you find things. This visit we got tasty foods and enjoyed perusing the aisles for unexpected fun gift ideas like Exo Coffee and so much more. Love this shop!

The French sea salt is soo good. I love being able to buy the bulk dry goods. The spice selection is amazing. I got this fermented slaw tonight. Awesome selection of slaw, kraft and kimchi. Beer. Figs. Hot sauce. Whatever you need that is small batch, they have it. Their hummus is 🔥 and the pasta salads are amazing. Bulk coffee beans. Local everything.

Yelp
The Tucson Co-op has come of age and so have I, a Green Valley retiree. I wish the co-op would connect with this community.

Yelp
Updates. I absolutely love what they have done! I have lived in Tucson for more years than I care to admit. In the 70s my brother actually worked here and then his son worked here in the early 2000s. The co-op has a membership so you can save money or you can just come and shop; it doesn't really matter. This new renovation has really boosted the overall spaciousness of an already awesome concept of providing organic produce, bulk items, and some hard to find vegan items such as jackfruit in the frozen section. Come check this place out and if you can't find what you need you will just find a fun funky vibe (at any age).

Yelp
I've been coming to the co-op for years while living downtown. There aren't many grocery store options, this is one of the best ones. A lot of healthier options, on the more pricey side, but have always been worth it. They recently just finished renovations, the place is much larger and more open!

Carlyn R.

Yelp
It reminds me of an old school health food store before WF's and TJ's became popular. I liked that it was very clean and the produce appeared fresh. The workers seemed knowledgeable and glad to be there.

Yelp
Seems every town of sufficient size has a co-op grocery and market. This is Tucson's and it's a good one. Great selection of goods.

Carl M.

Yelp
Stopped here to and from our road trip destination. Good options for a quick bite and a nice outdoor space to eat your food and let our little one burn off some steam. People were friendly

Luke R.

Yelp
Amazing selection of products, and great discounts for members! When you get there, if you have time, ask them how the Co-operative works! It's fascinating if you're not familiar with the concept. The store was so aesthetically pleasing as well, great ambiance. Staff are also very helpful.

Chris S.

Yelp
Real sad to see this place is becoming more woke, selling harmful beyond meat plant (bill gates owners) based fake meat. Unfortunately they no longer sell butchered meat and had no raw milk on the shelves. On the upside, they did have California sourced avocados. Sucks that this place is turning into another Whole Foods. Really no need to shop here, I can just go to natural grocers up the street.

Yelp
Love it here. Clean local, great parking lot!! Very friendly staff. Great place in the neighborhood for grab and go food too!

Yelp
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Co-op! What an absolute gem in the 4th Ave/downtown area. They have an amazing selection of cheeses and coffee, and the highest quality of fresh produce. I've found such unique fruits here, it's amazing! They have premade sandwiches and pastries, and their hot bar, all made fresh and in-house. Which makes everything delicious. I adore their scones and cookies. They have some really inventive flavor combinations sometimes that you won't find elsewhere in town. So good! They have a great variety of local items, too, which is really nice. I go to the Co-op mainly for my weekly supply of specific local items, and I inevitable pick up some fresh produce while I'm there, too! The staff is super nice and helpful. The store is clean and easy to navigate. And they're expanding it, too! It's going to be awesome! Outside can be a little intimidating sometimes (I've walked through a fight or two occurring right at the door), but that's just how 4th Ave. is sometimes. Walk along and you'll be ok. :) I love the Co-op and will continue my weekly shopping here!

Nicole S.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Tucson, the Food Conspiracy Co-op is a must visit. They have beautiful produce, a wide range of body care products, and tons of healthy choices for snacks and the pantry, and a good selection of local products. But the real reason I keep coming back is the bulk section! So many gems to explore, and items that are difficult to find other places. Like chiltepin peppers, jasmine pearl tea, locally grown and milled flour and grains, multiple kinds of cinnamon, spice blends, adaptogens, dried mushrooms... you name it. Last time I was there, I stocked up on flour for sourdough, grains, some new spices and my tried and true favorites, locally baked sourdough, and Popped popcorn (mesquite smoked mezcal caramel flavor - epic!). I stop by every time I'm in town and take home some goodies to experiment with in the kitchen. It's so fun and I love supporting a local business.

J H.

Yelp
Sometimes staff is welcoming/friendly and sometimes not so much. They hate the 4th Ave St Fair and will actually close for days during this time, which is always shocking to me. They've been expanding for many years, not sure where they are with that. They used to have customer bathrooms but eliminated those quite a while ago. They refuse bathrooms to customers, even members/owners. Their produce is beautiful. They support locally made products. Their homemade prepared foods are mostly top quality. They have nice variety of vegetarian/plant based options. Baguette Bread used for bánh mì sandwiches should be organic. Hot bar used to be the best quality. Last few years hot bar quality has declined. They have GMOs but should not. Hopefully they improve their quality and customer service.

Dee O.

Yelp
We were checking out stuff downtown Tucson 2 sun and came across the Co-Op so we went inside to look for something which they did not have and stopped but they also had a hidden launch which look really good so next time we're in Tucson we would like to go check it out

Yelp
I've found myself shopping at the Co-op more and more as I am consistently impressed with their high quality produce, particularly their fruit. I was tired of buying fruit at regular grocery stores only to have it be bland/tasteless, near expiration, or just plain moldy. I don't know how they do it but the produce at the co-op never disappoints! Another reason I find myself shopping here more is because they carry so many local items. I'm always working towards minimizing my carbon footprint and I feel shopping local supports that (and this includes not only the shop being local but where the food + products are coming from!). A standout for me lately have been their apples from Wilcox - they are so, so juicy and tasty!!! You can't beat it. I am still getting to know the store as I've mostly shopped for produce here but I a have found everything in the isles to be just as high quality as the fruits/veggies. I took home a fruit tart from their prepared foods section once which was a wonderful treat in the evening. I am excited to try their bulk spices one day! I'm not going to lie, their prices are higher compared to regular grocery chains and this was a deterrent for me shopping here for many years. But I will say that the consistent quality, the fact that pretty much everything seems organic, and that many items are local have made it worth it to me. Like sure, a pack of blackberries might be cheaper at a chain store, but am I really saving money when the berries get trashed because they rotted in two days? Parking can also be a hassle as your options are pretty much paid street parking or the small parking lot behind the building (you enter through the alley on 7th st.). If you are using a car to get to the Co-op, I would suggest going outside of the busy times. The Co-op is another excellent Tucson establishment. I'm very grateful for the high quality food they provide!

Kristopher P.

Yelp
When I visit Tucson to see my brother I always stop here so that I can buy dog food and bring it back to Chicago. My brother and I also stock up on beer, great selection of singles, for when our wives have a ladies night out. The vegetable selection is impeccable. My wife made a comment that she wishes we had this store in Chicago because Whole Foods will not take a stand on Texas outlawing a woman's right to choose. They also have an amazing selection of loose herbs and tea which I no longer buy because our other daughter back in Chicago will steal the bulk we buy to bring back to Chicago. Fantastic little place.

Yelp
This review update is to highlight Co-op during Covid-19. I am proud to say that I pretty much exclusively at locally owned grocers, the Co-op is among those on my rotation. During these unprecedented times everyone has had to make adjusted. I have found it very easy to shop at the co-op. They limit how many people can go inside the store and they disinfect the carts and baskets. The bulk section is currently not available, but they have gone ahead and pre-packed bulk items such as beans, nuts, granola mixes, grains, flour, etc. I have found the produce to be in good condition as well! Aside from that change and the buffet being shut-down, the co-op is the pretty much the same! Barrio bread delivers fresh bread twice a week too! Do know that they do not sell fresh meat, poultry or fish- all of those items are frozen. They've got everything else, including house cleaning supplies.

Kat J.

Yelp
I love Food Conspiracy! Yea, some things are a bit pricey, but there's also plenty of things that are cheaper than Safeway. I come here every week, usually early in the morning on the weekend. The produce is beautiful. I also love the selection of local eggs, bread, and tortillas. I don't buy everything here, but I do get quite a lot. I love the bulk herb/spice section! Great for refilling. When I first started coming here (mid pandemic) I was a little weary because there was an employee who would only wear a veil over their mouth instead of a full mask, but I haven't seen that employee in months and everyone else I've encountered who works there wears a mask properly (as well as the customers). Some reviews have said parking is bad, but there actually is parking off the street in the back, you just have to go in the gate off of 7th. I usually walk, but have never had an issue with parking when I do drive. Thanks for 50 years of food, Food Conspiracy!

David A.

Yelp
Was a rocky start first going there, but they've been so nice to me now that I think I frequent it more. They should take over the old epic cafe, and turn into a cafe with all the pre made foods. I guarantee they'd make a killing.

M M.

Yelp
Great local co-op in the heart of Tucson's hip artistic district. Clean, well organized and stocked market with a wide variety of items. Happily discovered they have a water refill station, a gender neutral restroom for paying customers (you need to ask for the Schlage code to gain access), and local artisan's items for sale.

Alex C.

Yelp
I love to concept behind the Co-Op, supporting local and being about the community. I honestly don't shop here because parking can be a pain and what I like is very expensive. When I come here it's for a grab-and-go meal. My favorite vegan sandwich is about nine dollars. They do have very delicious grab and go vegan options. They also have beer to go, fresh and local produce, and all your standard grocery store items. If I lived in walking distance, I would probably frequent this place more often despite being expensive in some areas.

Jozh W.

Yelp
This is a great place to visit when you're in the Tucson area. So much Arizona made products that is offered here. It is a bit overpriced and you can find some of the same items cheaper elsewhere. However, it feels great to support local grocers. The space is really organized and the food is great too.

Krista A.

Yelp
Food Conspiracy is the premier food co-op in the Tucson area. The shelves are filled with fresh, local, fair trade foods. Check out the bulk section for your staples and order a sandwich from the counter to go. To some the prices might seem high, but feel free to join and become a member for special offers. There is something very sweet about the community vibes of the staff as well as those who hang out in front of the store. Great place to make friends!

Monica E.

Yelp
Thank you, dearest co-op, for your existence. I am not a member. Likely never will be for reasons associated with convenience. But I do get here at least a half dozen times out of the year and find that I love: The spice and herb section! This is a budding culinary artist's dream! Don't know what to do with fenugreek? Want to play with curry? Interested in finding out whether yohimbe bark will work for you before splurging on a sizable container? Make your way over to the co-op. The spinach and kale frittata is one of the best things you will eat in life! If it's not, inbox me and I will try and set you right. What, what? No rBST? No artificial flavors? No preservatives? Um, yeah! And, it is a good combination of forceful flavor, lightness of being and mix of color on the plate. I dare not even replicate this at home. I would rather respect the recipe and allow the co-op to make it for me again and again. Need some people watching? Grab a booth seat in front of the Fourth Avenue facing floor to ceiling window and enjoy the view. Trust me, there will be a view. And if you would rather just have an early morning coffee or a cozy afternoon break with a book, this is also a wonderful space for you. While you are at it, check out the salad and the warm foods bar. For about $9 per pound, you can have a hearty salad to go with a lovely soup. And check out the community board for upcoming events and pitches. In that way, the co-op is not merely a grocery-market-natural pharmacy shop. It is a community space full of energy and fed with love.

Terry W.

Yelp
Waiting for TIM to open we wandered over here. it's a tiny little market that specializes in all-natural organic and "fair trade" products. They are moderately priced, but not outrageous overall. They feature various coffees, salsas, teas, snacks, etc., plus a small produce section and a refrigerated section with various beverages including milk and health drinks, some cheeses, and even a frozen food case. One really interesting thing was pump dispensers of soaps and shampoos. You pay by weight, apparently. Supposed to be 'clean' soaps with no added colorants or other stuff. We ended up getting a jar of salsa (haven't tried it yet) and a jar of mango spread (wife and daughter liked it!). Seems like a good place to get your organic shopping done, and while not cheap they certainly are cheaper than Whole Foods! There also was some sort of coffee/tea bar that seemed to be pretty popular. If you don't want to buy the raw coffee or tea and brew your own, you can get it here already brewed.

Bob N.

Yelp
I'm so down with this place. If you want to eat healthy and have some great vegan choices than this place is for you. We come here normally to get their pre-made sandwiches here and take them to go. I've gone here only for food except once or twice to get some specific vegan recipe cooking items (which they had and others didn't). I highly recommend the BLTs here (tempura bacon). They're amazing!

Leslie B.

Yelp
Horrible vibe. It smells and the cashier is super unfriendly. Their variety is also horrible.

Donna B.

Yelp
Nice little co-op. They have lots of organic choices and healthy items. I have not joined because I don't live in Tucson but when I go to visit I usually stop here to pick up some fair trade chocolate or a little snack. I used my Yelp check in and they said I could have a free shopping bag. I must've been the only person who's ever done that because the staff seemed a little bewildered. They did give me my free bag though!

Krissy H.

Yelp
Not as cool as I anticipated prices are very comparable to sprouts parking is horrible as it is all street parking

R M.

Yelp
The Co-op is on my daily walking path, so it's definitely got convenience going for it, but the prices are borderline obscene. Everything is at least a couple dollars more expensive than Sprouts or Whole Foods, which means twice as expensive as Fry's. The only reasonable value is the soup - food from the salad bar, at $9/lb is as pricey as eating at a restaurant, and while no doubt healthy, it's entirely plain tasting, the kind of vegetarian food which gives 'meatless' a bad reputation. So.. three stars for the soup, specifically the Indian Butternut Squash one I tasted last week. That was delish.

Ferdinand B.

Yelp
Great little place but it's so expensive that only elites can afford to buy their food there. What is the purpose of paying 8 times as much if I can get it cheaper elsewhere (Trader Joe's)? If you are a "green hippy", I'm sure you are proud to get the stuff there but I can't afford a hybrid car, a pretentious attitude that the world is a better place if I buy a $25 pack of sunflower seeds, or a sun powered house that recycles toilet water & cat waste. I get a can of soda with a health bar when I can, & usually get the "evil eye" because they think I'm stealing something & buying so little. Like I said before, I hope it stays in business and I love the idea of the place. When I'm wealthy, I'll buy 80 lbs of raw oats here.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Such a high-quality asset to our local Tucson community! Food Conspiracy sells an amazing selection for their small-ish store. Their bulk department is THE BEST in Tucson, and their produce can't be rivaled for locally grown products. They also have a great selection of local meats, and a super delicious hot food bar. I'm not a member, but mostly because I don't feel I come here regularly enough to be one. I wish I could be. I know they also offer health events and some fitness classes as well!

Joe N.

Yelp
In my opinion, in general, co-ops are good concepts. The issue I have with this one is that it tends to be overpriced. Lately the produce they have had hasn't been all that great either. I work within walking distance and often go to the co-op looking for a snack. Sometimes I can find what I want, othertimes I cannot. I know some people who shop here for all their groceries...i couldn't do it. I feel like the selection isn't good enough for my needs and it is expensive. Since I'm usually supportive of stores like the co-op I wish that this wasn't the case. Also, It's generally a hit or miss with everything from product to customer service. I suppose if you have the money to spend, the co-op is a good choice. If you're looking for a healthy snack, the bulk bins provide good choices. If you are on 4th ave and haven't been in before, it's worth checking out.

Sarah H.

Yelp
This Co-Op was awesome! Brought in my spice jars to fill up from the bulk section and it worked beautifully! Very clean, organized & have a wide selection of items. Looked like an awesome hot bar as well.

Makennah H.

Yelp
After living here for such a long time I finally was able to make it in to the Co-op. They offer bulk products ranging from dish soap to gluten-free pasta. They even have bulk tofu, which is awesome. If you're trying to cut down on waste, you could buy literally everything you need here package free. They also do have a lot of great packaged options, and some unique vegan options as well as many local products. The staff are friendly as well, which is a plus. I'll definitely be coming here from now on to get all of my bulk items.

Walter A.

Yelp
. The bananas are always great yellow and plump. The eggs are always fresh and price Ed right

Katie V.

Yelp
Food conspiracy is a great place to shop. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and their products are curated so you know what you are buying is organic and safe. They do a great job of incorporating many local products and have a great snack bar. If you are interested in zero-waste, vegetarian, organic, local they are the place to shop. it is worth it to become a member, to take part in the sales and special deals that are offered.

Angela L.

Yelp
When I'm down town and want an overpriced cool drink, I go here. It's great to get a drink on a hot day but for some reason I always feel out of place here.

Leila L.

Yelp
The best fresh produce in Tucson can be found in this store. Seriously, it puts Whole Foods to shame. I bought the best bunch of rainbow chard I've ever tasted here. I tried orange and purple cauliflower for the first time last week! All delicious because of the remarkable quality and selection here. Do not let the small size of the store fool you, it is packed to the gills with yummy foodstuffs. Also of note: the hot food bar. The shepherd's pie they had out a couple weeks ago smelled and tasted incredible. They allow you to sample before you buy. There is a wide variety of bulk dry food bins, bulk spices, and even loose leaf tea. The membership looks like a good deal, though I have yet to take the plunge, I am definitely considering it. I cannot recommend shopping here strongly enough!

Lisa F.

Yelp
The store seems to be struggling a little? I shop here about twice a week and it has taken them time to adjust to all employees wearing masks. One employee wore a small patch of fabric across her nose the bottom half flapping in the breeze. Before that she had a tiny bandana that didn't cover the mouth. I suppose I thought younger people would adapt more quickly, not so here. Before the city wide mandate several employees not wearing masks looked at shoppers like they were doing something to them ? If they were so concerned for their safety they had a simple option to protect themselves. Great local products and high quality food. I have come to not enjoy shopping here.

Frankie B.

Yelp
Greedy bastards, not vegan, not fully organic, & not good. They charge way too much money. They are dishonest about their products. Their only concern is to make money, not do the right thing. I boycott this place.

Monica L.

Yelp
The Co-op rules. Imma tell you why. Firstly, the produce is all organic and as local as possible. Some labels even say how many miles away the food was grown! Most importantly, it's downright delicious. If you buy in-season, you really won't be spending much more than you would on organic produce at a supermarket or other health food store. I buy *all* my produce here, unless I'm trying to get something impossibly out of season. You will discover fruits and vegetables you didn't even know existed! Also, they have a bitchin' deli with several super tasty organic vegan options. I'm a huge fan of the curried tempeh wrap, though the tempeh bacon BLT is also a winner. They're gone quick, so don't count on picking one up for dinner. I am not a member (yet) but from what I've seen, you can get REALLY good member deals. I'm talking several dollars less PER LB for produce. You can also become a member in several monthly payments instead of paying all at once, so it can be plenty affordable. You don't have to spend a lot of money to do all your grocery shopping at the co-op. Buy seasonal, compare cost-per-oz between brands, buy in bulk if possible, and spend most of your money on whole foods. That's the point, right? Other awesome things about the Co-op: 1) Build your own 6-pack. You can buy fewer , but you'll get 10% off your beers if you buy six. 2) Tons of specialty foods. If you are gmo-free, meat-free, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, raw, whatever, you'll find it here. You'll find that you can actually read the ingredients of most things the co-op stocks. 3) HUGE bulk foods section. I've never gotten anything in bulk and wished I had gotten it packaged. They have tons of bulk teas and spices, too. 4) Natural health, home, hygiene products, and an entire wall of vitamins and supplements. 5) Hot food bar and daily soups! The co-op just remodeled and now has hot food every day. Follow them on facebook or twitter to get notified of what they're serving that day.

Al A.

Yelp
A perfect little co-op in a cool part of Tucson. If this is what you are looking for, you found it. There is nothing else in town like it.

Jessica M.

Yelp
I'm a bit of a grocery co-op addict. I have been to several cooperatives, in now 5 states. I had the pleasure of visiting Food Conspiracy lately, and it was everything I've expected it to be! Friendly people, great products, hot bar, salad bar, prepared foods to go, all of my favorite junk food and beverages. I loved it and I bought a t-shirt. SHOP CO-OP!

Joanna B.

Yelp
After reading the reviews, I took a very long drive to the Co-op. First off, this isn't a true Co-op in comparison to what I have experienced. Second, it is VERY expensive for poor quality produce. The bulk mark up is ridiculous! The employees could care less if a customer is there or not. I don't even see how they have made it as long as they have. I will stick to my farmers markets and Sprouts. This Co-op is about as over rated as Whole foods. I am a true believer in organic produce & eating well. However, people fall into the trap of paying these outrageous prices. I do pay more at the farmers markets, but nothing compared to the prices in this "co-op".

Gabriel W.

Yelp
I love to go shopping at the Co-op...when I can afford it! Having been a vegetarian for 14 years, I certainly learned to appreciate the foods that most people find gross or unpleasant like tempeh, tofu, seaweed, and wheat grass. If you're a weirdo like me in that case, you'll love this store for its wide selection of both local and more commercial organic and healthy-type foods. This was the only place in Tucson that I was able to get my favorite kind of soy jerkey for years. Sometimes, Id grab one of their Tempeh BLT's from their deli fridge for a quick lunch (theres loads of great stuff in there!). And although I rarely bought any, their fresh daily made soups are pretty darn good. I love the fact that you can buy LOCAL, Organic produce here. Ive had a few opportunities to discuss with the man in charge there and firstly, its important to know that they pay fair rates for local produce. Its good to know that the people putting in the hard work for the crop are getting paid good money for it. They dont take a huge cut for themselves, and prices wind up being reasonable considering you can call the farmer yourself (or just ask an employee there) about what nutrients and fertilizers were used in the making of your food. I just love the idea of helping out the little guy, too. So much so that I have heavily considered becoming a specialty organic tomato supplier for them in the past! Who knows? Maybe some day I will! I sure wont be able to eat ALL those san marzanos and black heirlooms by myself. Last thing I go here for when I really plan on treating myself is loose leaf tea. This is one of the best tea selections Ive ever seen, and anyone who enjoys the stuff in its true form rather than those crappy little bagged things will really be appreciative of the Co-op. I wish their prices for some items were lower, but the quality you get with most of their stuff is just so far any beyond anywhere else, it makes it worth the price. Love it, will return as frequently as my wallet will allow.

Eric G.

Yelp
This is a great alternative to finding good groceries right downtown. Catering to the more health-concious of us, be prepared to find alternatives to things like doritos and cheet-o's. Prices might seem a bit higher than at big grocery stores, but that really doesn't have to be the case. Produce isn't outrageous, nor are staples like beans, rice, oils, spices, etc... . In fact, of all the grocery stores I have been to around town, this is the only place where I can find half-gallons of goat milk. And the price is definitely better than the alternative at other stores! Recently renovated and cleaned up, it's a pleasure shopping here now. Just remember to bring your own bags. While they have brown paper bags available, if you're shopping here (or anywhere for that matter really!), you should do what you can when it comes to reusing bags.

Yelp
I love Food Conspiracy Co-op on 4th Ave. for so many reasons: open member-ownership (without exclusivity), fresh, local, & organic produce, nice selection of bulk items, the hot/cold bar, local cheese, wine, and more. The employees are friendly and helpful, and I always leave feeling so good about my purchases. I usually hit up the produce isle first because, to me, there is nothing like the smell of that fresh goodness -- kale, beets, carrots, arugula, ripe stone fruit, figs, dates, etc. -- all waiting to become some marvelous concoction. On days I don't have time to create my own meals, the hot/cold bar can hit the spot. The offerings rotate, and are made from scratch in the Co-op Kitchen. They also bake up some goodies for the pastry case. The Co-op is definitely not a huge grocery outlet (although they have expanded quite a bit in the last year or so), but that is part of what attracts me to it. I can go in, get what I need, and leave -- without feeling overwhelmed. If I have time for a more leisurely trip, I do love to peruse the bulk bins for new items to go in my recycled glass jars. They have wonderful grains, nuts, seeds, beans, herbs, spices, teas, candies, etc. Check out the 'Everyone Sales' and the 'Basic Buys' (if you become a member-owner). Also, look for wine deals averaging $5-$9 per bottle around the store.

Yelp
i am saddened and unhappy by the lack of participation on raising consciousness at this Co-Op. They sell and cook meat here, it is like a trendy sprouts next to a bar. i wish it was like the OB People's Food Store. http://obpeoplesfood.coop/ I had to ask where the recycle garbage went....enough said
