The food court has lots of options to choose from I had the gyro and it was great. I was here on a Saturday and it was moderately busy. Other options for food include burrito bowls, shwarma, burgers, Greek, smoothies, Sbarra, and more. Panera Bread was closed when I was there. It is in a federal building and you go through security screening.

Google
This is a great spot to stop in and get lunch away from the crowds and cool off during the summer. About a dozen different food options from pizza, mexican, chicken, burgers, bbq, etc. All of the food we had was good. Highly recommend for families looking for lunch options near the Smithsonians and National Mall.

Pat Schob

Google
Busy food court for the federal building, but it has many options for everyone in your family. If you visit the National African American Museum of History, you may want to get a meal at the Reagan Building if the line is long at the Museum Cafe. Enter the Reagan Building, go through security, then go to the elevators toward the right. There are signs to get to the food court.

Google
This is a plug for the Forever Young Café, which offers a variety of delicious and healthy alternatives to some of the other big name options in the food court. If you get there early in the day you will almost always see a line for their smoothies, which are great, but their salads and sandwiches are a fantastic lunch-time meal. Pictured is the Four Seasons salad, which is perhaps now my most favorite salad in the area. I will go out of my way to get it. Freshly cut apples and avocado, craisins, feta, walnuts, fresh greens, and chicken breast... it's absolutely phenomenal. Supporting a small business is certainly a plus when you visit this place... which I love to do. but, it's made easy by how good the food is here.

Google
Food court inside a federal building...diverse choices but loud and many tour groups. Prices a little high but not unreasonable. Will go thru security.

Kelly Malfliet

Google
Was looking for a salade and some fruit. And found it in this food court at “healthy choice café”. The man over charged me and I hadn’t noticed, but he came to me to give me my money back!!! Great place to have a relaxing lunch away from the crowd

Justin West

Google
Lots of very good food options in the food court.

T Nguyen

Google
The most secure food court in the world. Security here are tighter than the airport TSA 🤣

Yelp
Went here for a school trip and the panera was like a mile away from the other food and when i went inside a french man started yelling at us so not pleasant but a beautiful building

Yelp
Lots of offices and convention/conference room space in here. There's also a theatre for performances and even a better than average food court. Unfortunately l, security is a major pain (think almost TSA airport level) if you don't have a badge for this building so plan accordingly. Nice building if you need to go there for something, otherwise a decent food court that may or may not be worth the security hassle depending on how badly you want to check it out.

Yelp
A really nice, large space, excellent resources and setup for a large event. Centrally located, lots of food and convenience vendors. My experience at the Panera on the bottom level wasn't great, but I can't blame the staff for it. The amphitheater was very cold for me from air conditioning, but I figure that would be a plus for most.

Yelp
The wedding reception was held in a secondary location at the Ronald Regan Building and International Trade Center. I loved the open layout and the decor, it really made the venue look huge and impressive. The only downside to the open layout is that people who are walking by the reception can look down from the stairs and watch the wedding guest, so no privacy from would-be wedding crashers. However the handful of people who did walk by all cheered the bride and whooped along to the DJ when a popular song started playing. I personally didn't mind it, but it's good to note in case you want privacy, you can let the wedding reception venue know ahead of time to block out certain areas to prevent people from coming in. Being that it is a government building, we had to go through metal detectors to enter, but that wasn't that big of a deal. All in all, we had a wonderful time partying and would definitely recommend this as a reception venue.

Yelp
The only thing that I can vouch for in this building is the parking. If you are not from the area, or even if you are, you will not find a better, more secure, inexpensive parking garage so close to the middle of the D.C. action. There are guards posted at every entry point to ensure that everyone coming in is unarmed and complying with all safety standards (some of them could be a little nicer about it though). The atrium is beautiful and the food court isn't too bad either. If you need a map of the D.C. action, at the front of the building, main entrance, they give out free maps to all. Additionally, the place is usually not too crowded and they have extremely clean bathrooms. I'm telling you, as one that frequents the monuments and museums a lot, you cannot find a better place to park (if you can, please let me know). [Parking: Standard rate for all-day parking is $25. However, just don't forget what level you're on and the color of that level or you'll be searching all night for your vehicle.] Enjoy D.C.!

Yelp
We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 2 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 This place is crazy! The whole area near this spot seems super top flight with security everywhere. The parking at this building is underneath and its not cheap. Prepare your wallets for at least $20 to park. There is street parking available when you can find it so good luck. The building itself is a structural gem, just like the other amazing buildings in the DC White House area. I visited this building for the Global Entry center. It was a nice quick and easy in and out process for global entry!

Yelp
I had the chance to visit the Ronald Reagan building on a visit to Washington recently. The building is designed to house various meetings, and acts somewhat as a convention center. We entered because of the signs for the International Food court that were outside. Unfortunately these signs are not really descriptive, as the food court inside was not really an International one, but just a regular food court like every other food court you would find in a standard mall. However, the place was interesting to see. Big hallways with lots of rooms off of them for various conferences and meetings, and we did eventually find the food court buried in the depths of the building. My mom and sister looked at all of the places in the mall for some breakfast, but didn't find anything because they had overlooked one location. I went over there, saw that that had something I wanted, so I went there. When my mom and sister saw what I had found, they ordered as well and were quite happy. One of the more interesting things that we found inside was a Berlin Wall exhibit, which is placed near one of the Eastern entrances to the building. It is a piece of history, a chunk of the Berlin wall with all of the graffiti still on it, preserved in time as a testament of the wall that kept so many people in.

Hillary J.

Yelp
The entry to the food court is kinda hard to find, but once you're there, it's a pretty good selection. It would be a good compromise if you are vacationing with several people and need a selection of food at a reasonable price.

Yelp
I came into the Ronald Reagan building because within the building there is a theatre space inside. This theatre space is used by The Capitol Steps when they are in Washington. The building has a large amount of conference rooms which I am assuming is used for professional business and government meetings. Also inside the building is the hq for the Environmental Protection Agency... which is interesting as well. Building is beautiful...no doubt about it....but mostly gets five stars because I saw the Capitol Steps in here and they were amazing.... I will review them separately.

Yelp
Called to ask for missing items and they worked diligently to find them!! Very good customer service!!! Much appreciated!

Yelp
I checked out the atrium and the food court area. It was a quick checking out. The atrium was spacious with flags of different countries. It was quiet and not many people.

Yelp
Forever Young Cafe is a hidden gem in the food court and has the BEST smoothies in town. They are cheap, only $5 for a small size and $6 for a large which REAL YOGURT. You go up the street and Jrink charges $10 for juice while Fruitive charges $13- $16. Both are not nearly as good as Forever Young. I highly recommend Mango Madness. It's refreshing, light, but also filling. One tip: It gets crowded during the summer time - it becomes a tourist hot spot especially on the weekdays after work. So, just be aware. The review is short of a full 5 stars due to customer service. When it gets busy, the staff gets overwhelmed and tends to be very rude. They make faces and want you to stick with your order, otherwise will shout out "Next". I've only experienced this once, so I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. When it's hot outside and you're walking around the national mall, I recommend cooling off with a smoothie.

Yelp
Great food court. My daughters school uses it for all their field trips. Lots of selection and minimal lines. You do have to go through security to get to food court would be only slow down.

Yelp
A great building with fantastic events and an expensive parking lot:) I went to Winternational 4th annual embassy showcase. It was busy, fun, tasty, ... so many things to say but I can't wait for the next one. Metro: Easy access. You don't need to worry about rain. Parking: $20! Expensive but no so many spots left. One of my friends were driving in the parking lot longer than 15mnts to find a space. Because of this popular event... Restroom:Average. Customer service: Nicish. Many friendly guards.

Yelp
I was visiting for a career and tech meeting event. Overall, the center is massive and a great, hidden gem pitstop if you are visiting the area (especially the outside visitors and Smithsonian crowd). Metro stop is beyond convenient: An elevator and mini-tunnel leads you to the center. KISS method perfect. For the car-hugger/must-have crew: Plenty of parking in the paid garage, which is a second alternative to street parking about a block away (Aside: The Ronald Reagon Building and International Trade Center is close to the White House and no one parks near the White House unless you are VIP and the Capitol authorities). The interior is absolutely beautiful and the location has a hidden peak-a-boo-court yard that is perfect for studying; eating lunch; and socializing. I enjoyed the art work, the food court, and the Onsite, there is a convenientMet FedEX / Kinkos (For the Business-As-Usual Crew). One Palm Upward.

Yelp
So, I might be a little biased as my wedding reception was held at the Rotunda room over nine years ago. I thought the whole staff did a fantastic job with setting up the rooms, the food and beverage. This room is so unique compared to the other rooms in the Reagan building and blows the hotel ballrooms away. The dome ceiling with the awesome lights was the WOW factor. Also, the doors open up so everyone can go outside and look at the awesome views of Pennsylvania Ave. Our work has held two Holiday parties at the Atrium Hall area. It was very spacious and the food was plentiful and they had many bartenders and bar stations. I know everyone really enjoyed it there. They also have a huge food court so tourists visiting the mall should take advantage as there aren't many food options in the mall area that are budget friendly. They close early though - i think around 6 or 7 PM. The indoor parking garage is huge. They will search your car since it's a government building and I park there when visiting the mall as parking is really hard to find in that area. The Federal Triangle Metro station is literally adjacent to the main building.
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
I thought the building was beautiful inside, particularly the atrium. The rooms were more or less regular old conference rooms though. The federal triangle metro is attached to the building and much more economical than parking which can easily run $30-45 for the day. Other positive points are the Panera in the building and the news stand. Our lunch was catered by the building and was decent for boxed lunches. What they really need to improve (echoing Theresa B.) is the signage. The building is hard to navigate and there are not nearly enough signs to point you on your way. I would not be opposed to having our kick off event here next year too.

Yelp
Beautiful massive spacious interesting building. The food court is a useful lunch option in between museums. There's a lot of things that this building can be used for like meetings, conferences, seminars, but I was just in here to check it out. It was worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
This place can be really awesome if you research and come at the right time. The building is beautiful. It can also be confusing, due to the size. The guards and information services staff can guide you to your destination (inside or outside of the building). Hubby likes the Woodrow Wilson Exhibit. I like the Berlin Wall. The Reagan Building is a wonderful venue. If you park inside the building, take anything extra out of your trunk to make the security check easier. Each elevator has a card listing your location. I always take the card and write my parking spot number on it. Parking can be expensive but convenience trumps sometimes. The food court is convenient, if you are already sight seeing downtown. Be aware of the endless cattle of students on tours. I believe they stop at 7pm. The contrast between loud, impolite kids running around to well heeled, polite event attendees is amazing. If you enter through the street level (as opposed to the parking garage) you are required to show your identification and go through a security screening.

Yelp
Stopped here based on a local rec that this building contained a food court which was a good family choice for a casual lunch bite, as an alternative to museum cafeterias. Don't expect too much, but we were able to get gyro wraps, fried chicken wings, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs for our varied party. Plenty of choices for all tastes.
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
Confusing, hard to navigate. They need more/clearer signage and maybe one of those giant interactive maps like they have at the mall. I was here for a caucus for work. It's just basic event space; nothing impressed me. They do have an Au Bon Pain though.

Yelp
We stumbled across this gem of a building because my friend hadn't yet had her morning coffee. When we got off at the Metro stop for Federal Triangle, we had another destination in mind. However, we saw a sign that said, in summary, Food This Way, so we followed the arrow. This building had one of the cleanest and nicest food courts I've ever seen. There had to be 20-25 vendors offering a good variety of choices. A few served breakfast. After my friend had her caffeine fix (and I had a nice ham and egg bagel sandwich), we were then able to go upstairs and appreciate the gorgeous building itself. Although large tour groups can sweep through here, we had the enormous lobby all to ourselves for quite a long time. There is also a Presidential memorial to Woodrow Wilson. We found out later that events, such as the hilarious Capitol Steps, take place here. And, apparently, parts of the building can be rented for weddings/receptions.

Yelp
Awesome place to hold an international awards ceremony! --------------------- Question: where do hardworking people go to meet other hardworking people to unwind and have a good time? Answer: at an international awards ceremony, of course! This was the first time I've been inside the Ronald Regan building - and let me tell you, it's certainly impressive! Marble, glass, colored lights abound. I admit this is a generic-sounding description for any quasi-governmental building, but let me tell you, first impressions count, and I was impressed! (Maybe that was the Cabernet talking...) Anyway, it's awesome to see thought leaders & innovators in your field all meet and celebrate each other's accomplishments for one night. Just like an academy awards ceremony! (It's even more awesome when, a few nights later, you spy one of them roaming the streets of DC at 3am, with someone half her age. LOL!)

Yelp
I would rather go to the IRS, the DMV, or even hell than the Ronald Reagan Federal Building. Their security is so rude. Security let my bags fall on the ground, joked I was going to be tazed, and complained that they had to process me again because I went to go get lunch. The other staff was very nice though.
google avatar

Lashanda L.

Yelp
This is a lovely venue. I found it to be spacious and capable of hosting a large event. There are lots of entrances secured by a lot of security. On the walls, I found inspiring quotes by the building's namesake. The lighting was amazing and the set up at the center of the building allowed for many onlookers from the top floor.
google avatar

Yelp
I went into this building, attending a function which is for making connections to motivative and inspires. Meet many cool people, including a Wells Fargo Senior President. There wasn't a fee going in since I was invited. The intended audience can be for people who are here for events and for people who want to tour. Found out that they offer tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday at 11 AM. I visited this place on March 8th, 2019. What makes up this site is that its a building that is the first federal building in Washington designed for both governmental and private sector purposes. Based on their website, it shows as follows; "Congress specified that the building "reflect the symbolic importance and historic character of Pennsylvania Avenue and the nation's capital" and "represent the dignity and stability of the Federal Government." This law fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's dream to revitalize Pennsylvania Avenue." The site's mission is to attract foreign delegations and trade missions by providing a neutral setting for cultural exchanges and global networking, it works as a world trade center for DC. I feel like it is succeeding in that mission. The reason why I gave this rating is that everything was very neat, and has its own historical importance itself. I, myself, am interested in commerce and the economy so I feel like learning about this building, helped me learn more about my interests.

Yelp
I attended a conference here recently. The Reagan building gets points for being huge and centrally located. The rooms are nice, and there's lots of variety in size and layout. There's also a food court, which is convenient. However, I'm only giving it two stars, because despite being a giant conference center, they had absolutely no accommodations for new mothers that need to pump during the day. The best the staff could do was direct me to an out-of-the-way restroom. I might understand that with a small venue or a hotel - but it seems practically negligent for such a large, modern venue.
google avatar

Rene H.

Yelp
I'm not really sure why so many school groups visit here. There really isn't much to see but a nice government-y building. The food court is really nice with expansive options and it's right over the metro. I guess come here for the food court if you want a lot of options?
google avatar

Hank C.

Yelp
A trade and government building with a number of offices, large parking garage downstairs (cheaper on the weekends) and security that covers the front entry. Inside, large atrium and colored lights around it that highlight the open air, and festivals and other convention-like events will also be located here.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
When we were in washington DC, we didn't rent a car. It's east coast but not necessarily NE, so we were hoping for decent public transportation. It was no NYC by far. So we ended up walking a lot of places and when we got too far or too tired just Ubered it back. We randomly stumbled upon this building. We liked the architecture.
google avatar

Zoe F.

Yelp
Came in here to grab a quick drink at the food court. I was surprised how much security we had to go through just to get inside. So, here's my problem. I want so badly to give this place a 4 due to the building itself. It's amazing and huge in there. The architecture and design is impeccable. Beautiful. But the food court, labeled the "international food court" is nothing of the sort. I walked in thinking I was going to be immersed in a variety of eclectic hole in the wall stands, but I got a sbarro and other such places. I mean, I can get that in a crappy mall at home. What a waste. If you're looking for something quick or a way to beat the heat, then by all means this is your place. If you're looking for something a bit more, don't stop here unless it's for the building itself.

Yelp
Okay, Frommers is now on my $h!t list for recommending this place. My phone was out of batteries, meaning no gps, and no YELP (heaven forbid, right?!). I had no idea where to eat, and I was starving. I kept seeing all these postings and billboards for the Ronald Reagan Building. "It's just a building like the Hope Diamond is just jewelry" or something like that. "Frommers listed as best food court in DC! A must try!" Must try my @$$!!! This is a strange building. You get searched entering it, and there's nothing inside. It's weird to go INTO an office building for food. Consequently, the food court is just that. A food court, equipped with the normal Subway, etc. I was like, "I came here for this???!" Not to mention it's dark, drab, and EMPTY! ARGH!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I had a seminar here this past weekend for eight hours, so I gave the building a detailed inspection. First, the atrium is huge, but the screen was big enough to be seen clearly even from the very rear of the room. Right outside the atrium, the staff had set up a coffee and continental breakfast station in the morning, followed by soda and ice cream later on in the afternoon. All of the food was good (including the lunch buffet), which shocked me because my usual response to continental breakfast is "no, thanks." Even the coffee was good, and I say that as a coffee snob (they provided sugar cubes and stirling silver spoons to stir; The Gipper would have been proud). In a similar vein, the service staff at the Ronald Reagan Building are well-dressed, polite, and professional. The staff cleaned up a massive amount of garbage produced by more than two hundred lawyers with smiles on their faces. My only complaint is the excessive security (the guards thoroughly searched the trunk of my car when I pulled up to the garage), but I guess that's the price to pay to get into buildings in DC these days.

Yelp
I wasn't a fan of the namesake of this building but it is a beautiful building. It makes it all the better that the namesake isn't in it. Looks like a great building to work in.
google avatar

Yelp
Great building for everything! Food, conferences, working, wedding and anything else you can think of. I used to work in this building. I also ate many meals here. The Ronald Reagan building serves many purposes. It houses the University of Maryland- Robert Smith Business School, as well as another college. The food court in this building is amazing as well. Plenty of options. There was a Sbarro pizza in this building at one point, but closed due to a fire and never reopened. It's been a couple years now.

Yelp
I attended the 11th Annual DC Wine and Food Festival here today. The cooking demonstrations by Chef Todd Gray of Equinox and the fantastic wine pairings were all spectacular and delicious. I also tasted several of the many hundreds of wines available for the sipping. Of course I was there to do more than sip and spit. I ahem had my share of actual tastes. But nothing like the Tabaq event. Hey, I was with 1 of the two people in the world that I know love me. My mom. Couldn't show out with her in the house. It was a fantastic event. I've been to it many times before (prior to its merger and upgrade in management) and will probably attend again.

Yelp
I've been to a number of trade shows at this building. It is HUGE! Can we say the largest government building in the city? I think we can. The Reagan Building covers over seven acres of land. The fountain in front (The Straus fountain) has been in that spot since the early 1900's. Everything else was put in place when the building was contracted in the late 1990's. The steel and glass used here is quite impressive. Inside there is a food court and outside there is a patio where free concerts are held in the summertime. There's also a restaurant here (Aria Trattoria where Michael Jordan's place used to be), a fitness center and a stage where the comedy troupe the Capitol Steps perform.

Yelp
TOP BGT! Means cool or top notch or outstanding in English! That was a slang word in one of Asian language! I was at the Ronald Reagan Building this pass Sunday for the Wine Festivals! I've been here before for different events, such as a President Inaugurations last time. It's fun, crowded and exciting! Excellent wine selections from different wineries around the States. Love those red wines, especially that one sweet and fresh raspberry red wine! And also lots of lots of yummy chocolates! From the leaves shapes to the heart shapes! Marvel! Also, we got a chance to taste a food presentation from one of the best chef in Baltimore. Delicious! And, I got one super size T-Shirt and purple pen from the Washington Post booth after I spin the prize wheel to win the prize. They also have olive oil and different kind of sauce that they sell there. Interesting! Wine festival as well as a food festival! I also have a chance to take a break to sit down and get a message from the green foot messager that feels so ticklish on my feet! It's vibrate! Zzzzz! And everyone also get wine glass from Mikasa! Definitely a fun time! Cheers!

Yelp
Go here for the food court! If your wearing the tour guide hat, your friends and family will love you for taking them here for lunch. A great food court open during the week and reduced hours on the weekend. They have something for everyone, Sbarros, Subway and Sushi. They have 18 vendors including a smoothie place and ice cream vendor. They also offer FREE Wi-Fi. Your friends and family will hail you as the top DC tour guide for leading them to affordable food and a clean bathroom The coolest feature is the walk-thru to the Federal Triangle Metro stop on the Orange Line! A great place to either finish or begin a day on the DC Mall! Leave your swiss army knife and wine screw at home, you will be nabbed going thru the metal detector.

Yelp
Attended an awards banquet here and the facility was absolutely beautiful. It was a short walking distance from our hotel, the JW Marriott. This proved convenient to get ready and then be 5 minutes away from our event. The space was open and the food was great. This is a great place to host an event!

Yelp
3.5 rating Voted as the best DC food court by Frommers. We stumbled our way here on the way to the Metro station. Located on the concourse level you will need to pass security first. We were asked for ID so we provided our state issued driver licenses. Scoped out the eateries and decided on "Quick Pita". Combo lunch $7.85 included gyro, fries, and a soda dispensed. Very satisfying Lots of tables and because we were here during spring break, lots of kids.

Yelp
Shout out to Kimberly S. for making the tickets to the Master Class accessible to all of us!! I know for a fact that next year, we will make it a point to purchase these tickets in advance; it may be better than the wine festival itself. The class was the perfect size, around 40 people, and each attendee had 10 wine glasses pre-filled with 5 Rieslings and 5 Shirazs in front of them, along with some crackers and some Evian water. All of the wines were from Peter Lehmann in Australia and I must say that I absolutely cannot wait to find the brand in DC. The master speaker(of course I forget his name) was from Australia and KNEW his stuff, which is always awesome to see. He got everyone in the room fully excited and even more awesome was that my boyfriend and I now have a LOVE for Riesling. There was a full on cheese bar in the back and we were even able to try a Pinot Noir, so it was a WONDERFUL evening and event!! It was scheduled for 4:30 -6, but we did not end up leaving due to good conversation, cheese and wine until 7:30 at the earliest. Well done!! We bought the Shiraz last night and it was as good as it was on Saturday. Thanks Yelp and thanks Kimberly S. Can't wait for the next event!!

Yelp
My first time here was Friday 3/10! There's nothing more exciting than the feeling of high level security checking your glovebox before you enter the parking garage! I felt like I was in the FBI or The CIA! Anyways, I attended the Greater Washington Urban League Annual Gala! I had the pleasure of attending last year as well, but the Reagan building venue made such a great impression! It's huge and full of stairways and incredible lighting . The gala took place in several different areas , including the VIP reception, dinner and program and after party in a smaller ballroom! The meal was delicious- rockfish and chicken with brown rice and asparagus! Specialty cocktails made the evening extra fabulous! A fun highlight was a private concert by Grammy winning artist Lalah Hathaway! Cupcakes at the afterparty made the ending sweet! If you ever attend an event at the Reagan building, you'll definitely leave eager to visit again!

Yelp
Food court review It's a nightmare during the day during the summer. Don't go. Just don't. It is a large food court crawling with school children running amok. Go to a food cart before coming here.

Yelp
I can all but guaranty you that this will be the only time I will attach a 5-star review to the name Ronald Reagan. With that caveat.... Wifey and I spent last weekend in D.C. on an almost-all-expenses-paid firm gala (as in, the firm won't comp me my $150 hotel bar bill). The showcase of the weekend (indeed, the whole point of the weekend) was a blowout at the Ronald Reagan Building. And I can attest, it is every bit as absolutely amazing as the few photographs suggest. [Speaking of photos, I promise to post photos of wifey and I in tux and ball gown, with extra special guest: wifey's new Rachel Maddow-style haircut] [P.S. Rachel, if you ever change your mind, you know, give me a call. If you don't change your mind, maybe give wifey a call, because she thinks you're cute, and who knows?] The band played into the wee hours of the morning, the drinks from the hosted bar were strong, the food was actually pretty darn good. I mixed and mingled with fellow lawyers who I've never met face-to-face before, and wifey and I managed to not make fools of ourselves on the dance floor. If you're hosting a gala for 200 or so of your closest friends, this would be a great place to do it. Plus, the rabid security will make sure no one comes to the party strapped.

Yelp
The place seems ok, but the rest rooms stink and are always wet ok the floor. There is a lot of paper towels, but the water is always cold and there is barely any soap in the dispensers. The food is ok but the cost to eat is too high

Yelp
We had been walking up and down the streets for hours, we were hungry, and there was seemingly nowhere close to eat. So we asked some random person in what looked like a uniform where to go and he directed us here. For some reason, I felt like it was a trap because it was a government building and attached was a customs and immigration office. I gathered my thoughts and calmed down once I remembered that I was born in Orange County, but my friend was El Salvadorian and we always teased her about being illegal (which she isn't) and went in anyway. The atrium was pretty impressive because of all the light and glass and open spaces but misleading bc the food court is just a food court. The interesting part wasn't the actual food but the amusing notion of being in a government building primarily for the food. Why I thought this was so funny at the time, I really don't know. Maybe it was getting searched before entering that set it off.

Yelp
First visit to Ronald Reagan building and International wine and food festival. I thought it would be great place for conferences and expositions. Modern and spacious enough but not too big like DC Convention center. now International food and wine festival.. If you are a hardcore oenophile, this might be one of wine events you want to attend. All vendors were so friendly and social. Just eat something before you attend unless you have additional ticket to food pavilion or you love cheese-cubes. I wished there were more food accompanying glorious wine but oh well.. PS: next time I am going to take a large cheese pizza with me. They don't have a sign 'No outside food'.

Yelp
SUCH an amazing building. I can't believe how hard it is to navigate. I can't imagine actually working here. The CBP Global Travelers program is located here in the Basement (B1) it was really complicated and long time to get there if you come through the penn ave entrance. But all the guards are so nice and willing to direct you.

Yelp
Unlike it's namesake it's well built, has a very large cool looking inside and is in the midst of the Nation's most powerful government agencies and groups. :-) I've come here for various conferences and meetings. I love the high glass ceiling of the Atrium and the big open area makes it feel less stifling for a government building. This is probably one of THE best looking government buildings in DC. There's a food court area (that I've never tried) for anyone traveling around the area that's looking for something to eat. I'm not sure if they're open on the weekends or on holidays. You will need a photo ID to get in, and if you don't have a snazzy govvy or military ID, you may have to send your bags through the X-ray machine and then walk through a metal detector. Once you get inside, the place has a TON of bathrooms in case you wanna leave a little bit of yourself in DC. Stay away from the food court bathrooms as those are usually heavily used and not-so-clean. You best bet for a loo break are the hidden bathrooms off of the Atrium Ballroom area (right off of a small hallway). Those bathrooms aren't used by too many visitors and as such are usually quieter and cleaner; perfect for reading your book or newspaper. Kudos also goes to this building for having a metro station (Federal Triangle) that is literally at the front entrance of this place. As Borat would say, "Very Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice" (that's all I got) ** This meaningful and life changing review brought to you by that "Your next review awaits" message on Yelp **
