Honesty have not tried pakistani food before dining here but the recommendations of my friends really didn’t disappoint. The place itself has a good modern vibe and the food items we ordered were really good. I am a spicy lover so I really really loved the spicy chicken sandwich! Also, kudos for being clean all in all! From the tables to seats and even the restroom, the cleanliness in on point. Totally recommended if you are around the area!

I recently visited Food Street in Secaucus with my wife and brothers, and it was an experience worth every mile we traveled from Maryland. Inspired by Lahore’s vibrant culinary hub, Food Street is not your typical fast food place. The moment we stepped inside, we were transported to the colorful and bustling Food Street of Lahore. The service was exceptional, and the food quality was outstanding. We tried a variety of dishes, including kabob rolls, chicken tenders, burgers, and a crispy chicken sandwich. Each dish was a delightful journey through Lahore’s street food. However, the most satisfying dish was the chaat – you simply can’t leave without trying it! Food Street is also incredibly family-friendly, making it perfect for gatherings. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, capturing the essence of Lahore’s iconic food destination. Overall, Food Street exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for great service, high-quality food, and an authentic taste of Lahore, Food Street is the place to be. We can’t wait to visit again!

Cute place! We tried the chicken tikka paratha roll - it was crispy & loaded with juicy chicken, delicious! We also tried the gappa chaat, which was crunchy but rather sour, could do with some more balancing of different chutneys & curd. I will be back for the roll 😍

Okay, stop what you are doing....🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ don't walk......this place......listen up! 👂 The best spicy chicken sandwich that I have ever tried. 🍗🔥 The food was absolutely delicious. 😋 The Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll.....he has this kick to it....spicy...🌶️ but you can't stop eating it because the flavors are incredible. 🤤 The mango sugar cane juice, I already complained that it was too small. 🥤 I wanted MORE because it was so good.....so fresh....and not too sweet, the flavor OH my goodness the flavor was so good. 😍 Hands down, this food was incredible 10/10. 👍 Did not disappoint at all. I saw a food blogger recommend this place and I am so glad I decided to try it.

Google
We visited this place on 10/02 about an hour before they closed (10ish). We didn't wait long to order our food and we're able to find a seat by the window. Our food came out really quick, although it was a bit odd that it didn't all come out at the same time and the person working did have to ask if we receive everything, which tells me they may have forgotten our drink if he didn't ask. We ordered the Gappa Chaat, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the OG sugar cane drink. Let me preface this by saying I have never really experience halal so I have nothing to compare this experience too. I loved the spicy chicken sandwich I would 10/10 order again. I also really enjoyed the Gappa Chaat even though I am not really into chickpeas or food dishes served cold. It was really seasoned/spiced well and I would definitely eat again. The drink was not my cup of tea, but that's okay...I typically only drink water and coffee so it was just different for me. Overall it was an enjoyable food experience. The music and decor was fun and gave off a great vibe that matched the food experience. One thing I did notice is that people were going around checking on patrons, but not once did someone come and check in on us or try to make conversation which I did notice.

Google
Food street is impeccable and delightful and my consolation for staying at the Rodeway Inn nearby. I had the gaaba chat which is like an enormous pani puri packed with the usual goodies and drowned in chutnies. It was so balanced and refreshing! I loved the freshness of the chutnies. I was full after that but I also got a chicken tikka roll and it was so good I ate it all too. For drinks I had a plum and tamarind drink. This place I would recommend to everyone. The menu isn’t huge but you will find something you like from extremely authentic to fusion things that’s more like a burger with a twist. It’s the best meal I’ve had this US trip. It’s worth the trip to Secaucus. I’m not sure the deal with the Gaddafi portrait but the space is nice and clean and it’s open LATE!

Google
Amazing experience. Ordered Aalo Tikki Burger, Anda Shaami, Guppa Chat, Roll Paratha, etc. All things were amazing. In the end, Doodh Patti was superb along with Naan Khatai and Jalebi. Too good Food Street Team 👌

Yelp
Very authentic lahori style Pakistani food street ... over all menu and prices are very good n competitive. Really enjoyed Tikka role, Garlic Role, Egg burger.

Yelp
Very flavorful and delicious food. It is better if you stay to eat it, not only because employees have given us nonverbal feedback about not staying to eat, but also because the quality is better soon after it is served. The price for each menu item is a concern if you're on a budget, but you're guaranteed to enjoy eating there and the cultural murals. It is a nice experience sitting inside. It can be crowded on some nights (towards the end of the week). I prefer to visit when it is quieter. They should consider opaque blinds for partial shade during the peak times for the sun.

Yelp
First time ever having Pakistani street food and cannot believe I have gone this long without it. My taste buds were super happy. Service was excellent and super easy. Walk to the counter, checkout menu, order and they will give you a number to place on your table. Appetizer/drinka will come first followed by your main meal. The owner stopped at our table to ask about our experience and recommended two excellent drinks. Delicious. Very cool chill crowd, mix of groups of friends and families. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I think this is a solid spot. We tried the mayo garlic rolls, malai boti rolls, gappa chaat and the bunkabab plus the chai. Everything was fresh & hot and tasted great. Bonus points for the chutney in malai boti rolls (this tasted almost exactly as the ones ive tasted in Pakistan which is a HUGE compliment). Service was top notch and i loooooved the decor (the pakistani touch with modern complements and no truck art but an amazing mural) Would 100% visit again

Yelp
Order at the counter and sit down in a clean, comfortable and well decorated dining room for a casual, quick and delicious meal! All of the service is friendly and happy to help with recommendations based on your preferences. Because I don't mind a little spice, the employee recommended a Chicken Tikka Paratha roll but I didn't think it was spicy at all! Just delicious with the sauces it comes with. The gappa chaat is HUGE I wasn't able to finish it but it was a great starter. Will definitely return to this business!

Yelp
My daughter & I stopped by. Upon walking in, it smelled like what heaven must be! We ordered the Paneer Tikka Roll & Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll with fries. Sooo sooo good! Next time we will try something else. They gave you 3 sauces, a green (with cilantro- which I wont try, but my daughter loved it). A brown which was a little spicy & a white which had garlic & mayo. That was crazy good on the fries!! Tax, tip & food. Under $30 for 2 people & we were able to have it twice. Cannot wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Whether you hail from Islamabad and call it a burger or from Pindi and call it a bun kebab (a contentious lexicon debate I won't get into here), the sandwiches that much of Pakistan's street food life center around can be surprisingly vegetarian-friendly. Aloo tikki burgers may be better known abroad, but the star of the show at Food Street is the oddly-named "bun pluster," a decadently-buttered concoction filled with a fried egg and daal mash. One of the best sandwiches I've eaten in 2024. The chaat here is also on par with some of my other favorites in the region such as Mithaas and Kailash Parbat. Overall, worth the trip to Secaucus (never thought I would say that).

Yelp
This is the best chicken sandwich you will likely ever have. It's huge and delicious. I get the regular and it's plenty spicy. It's great for delivery too because it keeps so well and is still amazing after cooking off to near room temperature. If I lived near here I'd eat this at least 2-3 times every month. Nice clean little spot if you dine in

Yelp
Imagine if a passionate Michelin Star chef, using quality fresh ingredients, sets out to recreate the legendary street food of Lahore (a culinary center of South Asia). For a moment let that sink in. Food Street (141 Front St, Secaucus, NJ 07094) will surpass that expectation. I went with a group to Food Street. We ordered a lot of things. We ordered, HANGRY Beef Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll, Malai Boti Paratha Roll, Gappa Chaat, Jalebi and more. We shared everything family style. Everyone agreed that this was an outer body experience moment. Everything was extraordinary, but having said that, I need to add that the Gappa Chaat needs the attention of James Beard Foundation. Nothing even in South Asia, leave alone the NY/NJ/CT Tri State area comes close to this one creation. Credit for Gappa Chaat goes to an ex-software engineer, Aziz Khan (Head Chef at Food Street), who took an everyday mundane street food item and turned it into an extraordinary masterpiece.

Yelp
Great desi spot on the neighborhood. Went there for lunch today and got the kati rolls. They were very flavorful. The portion size is good for the price. We also tried the karak chai.It was okay. Would love to go and try other stuff on the menu like guppe chaat etc. Service was quick and efficient. The place is very clean and loved the decor.

Yelp
Came here based on seeing an instagram post and it looked great. This is a small cozy spot that has cute ambiance to it. The light fixtures, wall paintings, and chairs are all great touch to the space. I did a pick up order so not sure if it because my chicken kathi roll got soggy but the halal chicken was good and partha was fresh but something in taste was missing for me a little bit. It was recommended as one of the popular items. Also got sugar cane juice that I had to wait a little bit for and my food was ready way in advance of it. The sugar cane juice is made fresh in front of you and was deliciously sweet. I will definitely go back to try the gappa chat as that is one of their popular items and looks yummy.

Yelp
Great new addition to Secaucus. It's from the same team behind Lahore, but it's focused on street food from Pakistan. The ambience is super cute and the graffiti will take you to the colorful streets of Pakistan. It's been super busy, so they have been taking reservations for the month of Ramadan. We almost didn't get our table after calling and confirming 3 times ( I even stopped in before the time of reservation) but I am sure it was an error in communication. Let's get to the food. If you are looking to truly enjoy, sit in, because the Guppa chaat is amazing and fresh. Perfect balance of crispy savory and sweet chickpeas. Good to share. We tried both the chicken tikka roll and malai tikka roll. Both were amazing, the paratha was just a little thick for my liking. We tried the chicken tenders, although we ordered spicy, they gave us plain. ( again just a technical glitch) but it was juicy and crispy. We absolutely loved the spicy chicken sandwich and the Hangry beef burger which had double patty! Superb food and a must try !

Yelp
So first time when i wanna give some place more then 5 stars. This place is for all who are craving good Pakistani street food. Everything on the menu hits right on the spot!!! We went there on Eid day and it was busy as hell but the service and staff was still so speedy and most curteous. We got a table in few mins and food was served promptly which is awesome considering how swamped they were. We tried Tha Tha soda- i have tasted something so similar to the actual ones in like more then a decade-Plaster bun, anday wala burger,Gappa chat, galebi all were the best i have tried in ages. Rubri dodh was just amazingggggggg. Their rolls are pretty great too. We have found our new fav spot for sure. It has great decor and ample parking available outside. Easily commutable from city. Owners have done an amazing job setting this place up-Defo a place i can bring my friends to show them authentic street food taste.

Yelp
First time trying this new spot. The decor is very inviting and beautifully done reflecting Pakistani culture. Service was good and the owner/chef was even making sure guests were comfortable. We ordered the gappa chaat which we really enjoyed. You definitely will need 2-3 people to finish but it was packed and sauced up nicely. For food we had the spicy crispy butter chicken and chicken tikka paratha roll. Both packed with flavors. The chicken sandwich wasn't too big which I appreciated, otherwise becomes overwhelming. Chicken Was crispy and sauce was spicy/flavored. The chicken tikka roll definitely had a kick but overall was nice. Minor suggestions: I would suggest adding something to the menu to indicate spice level, write info about the combo option on the actual menu, cut the paratha rolls in half when served, label the rolls on the foil, cube chicken or remove non edible parts of chicken from the meat before serving. I don't recall any spots like this around Bergen county so nice to see one here. I'd definitely come back to bring my family!

Yelp
Street Food Secaucus, NJ 141 Front St, Secaucus, NJ 07094 This is a difficult review for sure. There are a few things I want to point out for my fellow foodies. They got full marks on presentation and decor. Clean kitchen on the first glance. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Guided with care and quickly brought the food without any issues. Now, coming to the real deal. The food is just average. I know taste is very, very subjective. The owners have genuinely taken a great concept and tried to execute it well. However, they need to invest in a good chef in the back of the house. I know taste is very subjective and you may have a better experience than me. So please do visit and support local businesses. We ordered the following items. Gappa Chaat Chapli Kabab Roll Malai Boti Roll Anday wala Burger Hand Cut Fries Roh Imli Alu Bukhara Sharbat The only thing that tasted good was Gappa Chat. Chapli Kabab was wrapped in oily Paratha, and the Kabab was extremely dried out. Malai Boti Roll was extremely tough chicken pieces, and a few pieces were under cooked and wrapped in the same oily Paratha. Anday Wala Burger ... I can only say .. this is ABCD ruined version or mess wrapped in a fancy packing. I grew up eating this in Lahore. Hand Cutt Fries .. it's a shame when you end using machines. Nothing wrong in selling store bought fries and call them fries. But hand cutt fries are a different game. Roh (Sugar Cane) -- this is no issue because the manager fore warned me that it is extra sweet because of Sugar Cane from Columbia or South America. Imli Aloo Bukhara Sharbat -- this was a good try but still far away from the original deal. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a nice, clean bathroom.

Yelp
It was delicious!!! Had the chicken tikka paratha roll and took the paneer tikka roll to go for my mom. She loved it, the paratha was super fresh, so was the chicken. The sauces were superb and complimented the rolls well! A gentleman kept checking on everyone to make sure that we were happy and taken care of, I'm assuming he was the owner. Amazing service, awesome food, HIGHLY recommend, I will be back next time I'm in NJ.

Yelp
I was in New Jersey in July & tried this place . Omggggg I misss it soooo much now . What an amazing experience . First of all love the decor & please let's appreciate how pretty the bathroom is . Food is excellent. It was fresh flavorful & loved the selection of food there. Reminded me of Pakistan . 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
Good service taste just like my Pakistanis food from back home keep it up and more stuff in your menu

Yelp
The chicken tikka paratha roll was so good! Packed with flavor and spices and the home made bread they use to wrap it in was unbelievable. I could honestly eat 5 of those if I was hungry enough....which brings me to my one critique I have for this place. I get paratha roll's are not meant to be large in size and they honestly shouldn't be because that would ruin the experience, but they charge you as if you're getting this full packed wrap which you're not. Their prices are a little unreasonable but other than that, they're awesome. I also tried the burger and fries and they were both pretty good. Burger meat they use is clearly good quality ground beef and the fries were well prepared. Condiments that they gave were excellent too. I will be back for the rolls in the near future and I'm very glad I found this place!

Yelp
Came here with my girlfriend for dinner and we both loved it. Beautiful environment with comfortable seating. Pleasant music, open/clean kitchen visible from the ordering counter. My gf loves this dish the most but I recommend the paneer or tikka masala chicken roll. I'll be back soon!
google avatar

Rumana R.

Yelp
Gappa chaat was delicious and exactly what I was craving!! Nice cozy spot, quick service and very clean. Our host was so sweet that she brought less spicy chicken tenders for my son, once we realized the spicy version was way too spicy for him. So sweet and definitely recommend next time you are craving kati rolls and chaat

Yelp
So excited to see more Pakistani restaurants opening up in north jersey. This food street location is down the block from Lahore Restaurant. Let's start with the vibe: it's small and cozy with the most beautiful decor. They focused on small details in terms of the wall art, the chairs, and the light fixtures. Also a nice tip- definitely check their bathroom out. Reminds me of my Waldorf Astoria bathroom. Next, the food -first of all, the menu very simple and to the point. We got the chaat, malai and tikka paratha roll, spicy crispy chicken burger. Everything was fresh and delicious. The fine detail to the paratha roll brings me back to Pakistan. The paratha was fresh not frozen, the chicken was cooked to perfection, thinly sliced onions and the green chutney was spot on. Now on to the drinks- we got the sugar cane juice and imli sharbat. I am truly addicted to the latter. I know I'll be coming back for more!
google avatar

Ahmar S.

Yelp
Just had some amazing food at Food Street. Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I had the malai both wrap. Very flavorful. The parathyroid had just the right amount of crunch. The gapa chat was gone in seconds. If you eat Halal, and like food -- you should check out this spot.

Yelp
Fantastic gem in secacus. I went around 10is at night and this place was packed! We were seated fairly quickly and food came out fast. I ordered the chaat and Karachi chicken tikka roll. The chat was made very well with loads of filling and flavor. The roll was AAAHMAAAZING! Definitely the best rolls I've had - each bite had a chicken piece in it and the tenderness of the chicken was on point. At the end, one of the owners came and asked about our experience and you can tell he is very passionate about the food and quality he offers. Highly recommend!!!

Daniel Z.

Yelp
We came here for some dessert after having dinner down the street last Saturday evening. I could tell from the sidewalk that the place was packed, but I'm glad we stopped in because everything was fantastic from start to finish. The manager taking orders behind the counter was very helpful and kind in explaining the menu, helping us find a table, and keeping everything organized despite the weekend dinner rush. The jalebi was hot, fresh, flavorful, perfectly fried, and nicely presented with a dusting of ground pistachio on the plate. The paan was sweet and bursting with flavor and the perfect end to the night. A very kind gentleman approached us when we were done eating to check on us and ask for feedback. I plan to come back to try some of their entrees next time I'm in the area. We need more businesses and people like this that are passionate about what they do and give 100%.

Experience C.

Yelp
A cozy and elegant restaurant, where soft lighting, gentle chatter, and tantalizing aromas set the stage for unforgettable dining experiences. I ordered gappa chaat and hangry beef burger and they were simply delicious.

Insia Z.

Yelp
Look no further. If you are reading this, please take my advice. Food Street changed my life. I entered and immediately was greeted by the friendly staff. I felt like family in this restaurant. I ordered the Hangry burger and my husband ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. it was SO DELICIOUS. Flavors were out of this world. I would have posted photos but I was in a state of bliss while enjoying the amazing food. The spicy sauce was "mazedaar" (yummy). This place is perfect for the family, friends, that special someone ;) or just your humble self. You will not regret coming down to Food Street. I will be remembering this experience for a long...long...time. And I will make the hour long drive again for it :').

Rabia N.

Yelp
My friends and I drove here from queens for Iftar. When we arrived we were told they were all booked and could not seat us. Once they heard we came all this way from NY they called us back and went to make extra chairs just so they can make some space for us to eat! Really appreciated their accommodations for us. The place was packed and roo Afzal water was passed around for Iftar. You order your food at the front register and they bring the food to your table. Both the hangry burger and gappa chaat were really good. Definitely recommend.

A H.

Yelp
First time dining in! Love this place! Gappa chaat and beef burger are my favorites. Pakistan Zindabad!!

Yelp
Best amazing food and service is soo good with the ambience of sitting in a fun place. My favorite here is the Burger and also the Malai Boti Paratha roll also don't forget to try the sugarcane it's the best place I have been to in a very long time!!!

Hamna N.

Yelp
Today my friends and I went to try this place for Iftar and turns out it was booked but they were very kind enough to make space for us. They checked in on us during and after the meal to see if we needed anything and overall were very kind people. The inside was very bright and colorful and just a nice spot to go out and eat on the regular or if you want to grab a bite with friends or family. It's a nice place too if you want to take pictures while you're dining in. We got the hangry burger, Gappa chaat, regular fries, masala fries, Chicken tikka Paratha roll, and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was really good and if I lived in the area I would go back.
google avatar

Sareen B.

Yelp
Amazing chaat! Great service. Food was amazing. Space is a little small so to many people gets really loud if people aren't mindful of their inside voice. Annoying people can ruin the atmosphere.

Yelp
Outstanding experience! Great food that was all new to us. The very friendly staff gladly explained everything. Everything we tried was really unique. We will definitely be back!

Rubena G.

Yelp
Great experience with desi music and amazing food. Very flavorful and love put in the food! Very kid friendly and service was impeccable!

Rita D.

Yelp
Their rolls were great . A good size and the chicken stuffing was really tasty. But there was too much sauce hence the parathas were soggy and hard to eat . It's best to give the sauce on the side . On the whole it was recommendable.

Zuhayr S.

Yelp
good ambience, good food, courteous staff. Great customer service and aesthetic of the space. Good pakistani food

Joe E.

Yelp
This place is legit! My wife and I stop in on the way home from work sometime. No lie the best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! The paratha rolls are excellent too. This place deserves 10 stars.

M A.

Yelp
My best friend and I went here for iftaar. The service was absolutely phenomenal and the food was even better! Can't wait to come back!

Titanic F.

Yelp
Food was tasty and good and wasn't crazy expensive but the portions were on the smaller side. However the staff was kind and I liked the environment.

Harwinder K.

Yelp
Authentic Desi / Pakistani vibes, beautiful modern decor and delicious food! Def will be my go to spot for my desi cravings in Secaucus. The service was great. Everybody was friendly and food came out quickly.

S S.

Yelp
loved the food and the ambiance, the tikka rolls, smash burger, Guppay chat and jalebi are a hit, and they hit the spot. if you're missing Pakistan, this place will help you feel at home. Service was super friendly and speedy considering how busy the place is! Can't wait to go back!!

Khurram W.

Yelp
This place is a mess!! When I entered it looks like I'm in a fish market and then waited for 30 minutes to get a table. Once we settled down in table owner gave that one to another customer who entered in restaurant after us and asked us to wait for another table. Never ever come to this disrespectful place again. Following is owner reply to me on first come first serve basis: If I would go with your word on a first come first serve basis then my family entered first and we waited more than the other family who came after 10 minutes in the restaurant this is such a disrespectful act from this restaurant owner to serve the table before us!! We came from South Jersey where we have plenty of restaurants that are offering the same menu that you offer. I drove more than an hour to reach this place and I found a fish market with big mismanagement As I said will never come to this distrustful place again.

Lan G.

Yelp
Neat new restaurant in Secaucus with a very vibrant atmosphere inside. Ordered the Anday Wala Burger with fries on the side and I was quite satisfied with what I ordered. The food came out quick and wait staff was nice. Can't wait to come back.
