Foodland Farms Ala Moana is a foodie’s dream! Fresh local produce, gourmet selections, and a top-tier poke bar. It’s where island flavor meets modern flair. Clean, friendly, and full of aloha spirit! They have fresh longans there and a bar in the middle as well. Pizzas look delicious but we had just had our meals in the food court. 😎

Foodland Farms at Ala Moana is one of our favorite stops in Honolulu. Super clean, great vibe, and the poke bar is seriously top notch. They’ve got everything from local snacks to fresh meals ready to go. Perfect for a quick bite or stocking up on groceries. Definitely worth checking out!

Great market with a bunch of food selections. Really enjoyed the poke options and different bowl type. They also have some great salt and pepper chicken wings.

Excellent local sales so be prepared with a phone number to get discounts. Super fresh fish and prime beef with extremely helpful staff. We go 2 times a week :)

If you are there for the variety of poke, you are in the right place. Our Uber driver told us it’s a local’s favourite. However if you are there for grocery, the Japanese grocery right besides it is much cheaper. Go for the fish!

Rodney Regala

Google
Theee spot for awesome poke. A huge selection of flavors and protein choices. There’s also all the ingredients you need to make your favorite Hawaiian or Japanese dishes.

Google
Such a great time at Ala Moana it’s the best Poké on the island that we tried! So fresh and so cheap for how much you get and the immaculate quality! The food hot bar is so high quality and so many diverse options!

My first time visiting Hawaii, and Foodland Farms at Ala Moana completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn’t your average grocery store. The store itself has a really sleek, modern vibe, with spacious aisles and a bright, welcoming feel, making it a pleasant place to browse. It didn’t take long for me to realize why this place is so popular among locals and tourists alike. Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite In depth review: The highlight of my experience was definitely the fresh poke bar. I’ve had poke before, but this was next-level. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the variety of options was impressive—everything from classic ahi poke to more adventurous flavors. I was able to sample a few different types before deciding, and each one was bursting with flavor. The seasoning was on point, and I loved how they gave you the option to customize your bowl with different toppings. I honestly could’ve stayed at the poke bar all day. But the poke wasn’t the only standout. The cooked food bar was also fantastic. I tried a few different items, including some Hawaiian-style dishes, and everything was delicious. The food felt like home-cooked comfort food, and it was so convenient to grab a hot meal while I was out and about. I was especially impressed by the wide range of options, from hearty salads to more substantial plates like loco moco and braised meats—perfect for a quick yet satisfying bite. On top of the amazing food, I loved the local vibe of the store. They really focus on carrying Hawaiian-grown products and supporting local farmers and artisans, which made me feel like I was truly getting a taste of the island. The produce was vibrant and fresh, and there were tons of local snacks and products I couldn’t find anywhere else. Sure, it’s on the pricier side, but honestly, the quality was well worth it. Between the fresh fish, the incredible poke, and the selection of ready-made meals, I definitely got more than my money’s worth. For anyone visiting or living in the area, I highly recommend checking out Foodland Farms. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal, stocking up on groceries, or just looking for some authentic Hawaiian flavors, this place has it all. It’s now one of my favorite spots in Honolulu, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Yelp
Foodland Farms in Ala Moana is hands down my favorite grocery spot whenever I'm in town for a few days. The vibe is like if a regular Foodland and Whole Foods had a baby--familiar yet upscale, with a focus on quality and convenience. If you're around on a Friday, definitely take advantage of their $6 entrees or the $6/lb hot and cold food bar. It's the perfect mix of affordable and delicious, and it's a great option if you're craving something quick and tasty without breaking the bank. While it's a bit of a walk from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, it's close enough that it won't feel like a trek. But if you're carrying a bunch of stuff, grab a cheap ride--it'll save you the hassle. The only real downside is the parking situation, which can get pretty crowded, so plan ahead or be ready to circle around for a bit. Still, for groceries, hot food, and unique finds, it's hard to beat Foodland Farms!

Jacky C.

Yelp
Finding parking is a nightmare. You have to get lucky that someone is pulling out. As you can imagine, the grocery store is overcrowded. We wanted to get the fresh poke, but the wait was ridiculously long and we had a schedule to stick to. I just grabbed a musubi, which wasn't really worth it. My fiancee grabbed sushi, which was filling for her. The line for the checkout is also ridiculously long. Took a good 10-15 minutes before I could checkout. Not ideal if you have a schedule you're trying to stick to.

Yelp
This review is limited to the bentos and fountain drinks offered here at Foodland Farms Ala Moana. A trifecta fail today. After a late morning walk at AMC, we went here to pick up lunch. After perusing the options, I settled on Foodland's spicy pork bento. It looked pretty good. Priced at $7.99. We found a seat at Foodland Farms food court area in the front. I needed to wipe down the seats and tables as both were unclean. I proceeded to open my bento and consumed maybe five bites. And then I saw it! TWO dark pieces of what appeared to be eyelash hair? Yuck. I felt sick. Not one but two PIECES OF HAIR in the bento. I picked one of the hairs out and put it on a napkin to confirm. Yup. See photos. Epic Fail #1. So, I took the bento to customer service desk. They were polite and offered a refund or exchange. I decided on an exchange and picked up a Korean chicken bento $7.99 and added a fountain drink. I only needed to pay for the fountain drink. I returned to our table and took a bite of the chicken. Ugh. Hard and chewy and incredibly tough to bite. Not edible in my humble opinion. So I just put the cover back on. Fail #2. I didn't return this bento. I had enough of the unsatisfactory food. Then I needed to wash down that tough chicken with a drink of my Diet Coke. NO CARBONATION! Fail #3. I was done with eating. Seriously, I didn't feel well at this point. Customer service was the only bright point (other than having to stand in line twice). The nice service person told me to pick up a bottled Diet Coke from the refrigerator by the cashier. No extra charge for the exchange. 4/5 stars for service. Lesson learned from this experience? Avoid the bentos.

Yelp
It was raining cats and dogs. I decided to shop for dinner. They have a hot Buffett for $11.99 which $1 cheaper than Whole Foods. But to my surprise, they have pastele stew! I took a one pound container and filled it up while smacking my lips! Then, I saw Teriyaki Chicken that was carmelized and inviting while picking up three pieces. Now, everything goes with rice and some lemonade for an inexpensive meal for two. Pastele Stew - slight kick, onolicious spice with olives, bell peppers, onions, pork, tomato goodness. What a culinary bliss?! Teriyaki Chicken - it didn't fail our taste buds...intense Teri flavors. Rice was the blank backdrop for these two main dishes. And lemonade added a slight tartness to saltiness, savory, slight kick, and different textures....yummy! Definitely, I will be dropping in to check out that hot buffet! Ciao!!!

Yelp
Definitely a place to stop and grab some snack, groceries, drinks and don't forget about their POKE bar. Their poke are fresh and delicious. They have many variety and flavor to choose from. Definitely one of my go to spot for poke. This Foodland Farms is located on the street level at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and they have plenty of parking.

Lauren L.

Yelp
This is the best foodland that I've ever been to. So many hot and cold foods to choose from, all looking fresh and tasty! The poke is so fresh, tasty and affordable. Came 2x during our trip and it was our favorite poke the whole trip. We also got a pack of toro sashimi, which was so fatty and melted in your mouth! It was pretty affordable for toro, and the portion was pretty large!

Christina Z.

Yelp
This is a review specifically for their poke bar because it was the best poke we had on our Oahu trip - so good that after getting a poke bowl, my husband went back and got 2 half pound tubs of poke so we could try even more flavors. The poke bar is its own dedicated counter; you grab a number, wait to be called, and order. We were even offered a sample before we made a decision which was a nice surprise! We got a bowl with ahi shoyu and rainbow roll poke - so flavorful, fish is so fresh. For our half pound tubs, we got the spicy ahi and shoyu salmon. Overall, we preferred the ahi and rainbow to the salmon. You really can't beat the price for quality, portion, and flavors - Foodland is our favorite poke spot in Oahu.

Leeza D.

Yelp
Foodland is a must visit for any foodie. It has an array of poke and cooked food with an island twist. If you just need groceries, they have that too. Stroll around, grab a snack, grab a meal, or grab a full on picnic spread. Great service. Casual. Please come and creat your own experience.

Yelp
I stopped by Foodland Farms for their $6 per pound at the hot bar, and even though it was dinner time and packed, I managed to grab everything I wanted. The selection was impressive, and I appreciated seeing staff actively replenishing items that were running low. I went with the chicken thighs, fish, and roast pork, while skipping the starch since I always have rice at home. Everything tasted pretty good, and I was happy with the generous portions I could get for a reasonable price. Overall, it's a fantastic deal for anyone looking for a quick and affordable meal with a great variety of options. Definitely worth checking out!

Wendoline B.

Yelp
If you come to Oahu, you gotta stop by Foodland! They have so many things to choose from, but we stop by for the Poké, the pressed juices, and the fried chicken. It can be a little pricey if you are looking to purchase grocery items (milk, eggs, cereal, etc), but hot or ready to eat food items are a great deal! We were able to get lunch for $9 a person! The service is always great and the store is always clean. The only reason we don't stop by is because we still have food from our last visit!

Anabelle H.

Yelp
I heard so many good things about the poke at Foodland, so it was on my bucket list once I landed in Honolulu. I was so happy to find that there was a location at the Ala Moana Center because it was a walkable distance from my hotel. When I got to the poke section of the market, I was not surprised to see a long line of people ordering because of its popularity. We grabbed a number and the line went by pretty quickly. I got the Spicy Salmon and Ahi Tuna. When I checked the price of the poke bowl, I was initially taken aback by the price of $22 but once I started digging in, I understood why. The fish was extremely fresh and tasted so so good. You know the food is good when you catch yourself closing your eyes with every bite to savor the flavor. The amount of fish we got was insane too! Well worth the price! If you don't have a big appetite, the bowl can be shared between 2 people too. Service was good because they were speedy and packed our bowls to the brim. 10/10! Will come back again.

Katie-Ann F.

Yelp
The freshest and best poke (and honestly fish in general) I've ever had! All the staff are extremely friendly and let you try samples of the poke before choosing which to buy. There is also such a wide selection of poke in addition to all the spam musubis and other hot foods! We got their fresh Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Poke and Spicy Salmon Poke. The pieces were huge and paired so nicely with a bed of white rice. You can taste the freshness of the fish, and it was just absolutely delicious. I still crave it to this day and would go back to Hawaii for Foodland Farms. I've also had their Wasabi Salmon Poke which adds such a bright and not overly spicy flavor profile to the salmon. All the flavors are just perfect, but this has to be my favorite. Overall, I highly highly recommend trying Foodland Farms and all they have to offer from their fresh poke to spam musubi to hot foods! It's so worth it, and you won't regret it!

Yelp
During our Maui trip earlier this year I learned that Foodland is where the locals go to for quality poke for cheap. Of course I visited a couple of their locations during that trip and couldn't stop thinking about their poke after getting back to ze mainland. 10 months later I am now visiting Oahu and got myself locked out of my phone on the trip so had to make an urgent visit to the Apple Store in the Ala Moana Center. Wrapped up my business there and walking out of the store, we caught a surprise Luau show at the mall. The performance ran straight into dinner time. I pulled out my recently revived phone to find a dinner spot and saw a Foodland location on the other side of the same mall. Overjoyed, I quickly made my way there and got a couple of the combo bowls per the employee's suggestion. I don't know which specific ahi tunas I got but I loved every bite of it. I should try other foods on the island but I can't guarantee there won't be another Foodland visit within the week.

Alice W.

Yelp
Foodland Farms' poke is fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth trying! The fish is high quality, and the variety of toppings and sauces lets you customize your bowl just the way you like it. My favorite is their classic shoyu poke - simple yet so satisfying. The portions are decent for the price, but the wait was not worth the hype.

Rynel V.

Yelp
Located on the ground floor of Ala Moana, next to Nordstrom. Absolutely must get items are fresh juices, salt & vinegar fried chicken, & poke of course! Friendly staff, clean store, can be busy since it's part of the shopping center, but the lines go quickly.

Lily H.

Yelp
Great supermarket with a variety of groceries and ready-food for purchase, including products only available in Hawaii. Poke here is pretty legit, especially for the price. Conveniently located in bottom floor of the Ala Moana shopping center. The store setup, flow, and checkout areas remind me of whole foods.

Erwin G.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick breakfast, lunch , or dinner. A very impressive selection of food to choose from. Also there is a very nice bar inside to hangout at. And a steak place that I highly recommend.

Neil Arden D.

Yelp
(Oahu, Waikiki) Food:Poke: K-POP(Salmon)(10/10)- extremely fresh. Fish melts in my mouth each bite with the perfect spice and seasoning Spam Musubi(9/10)- spam and seaweed was tasteful. A lot of rice with seasonings. Definitely more delicious than ABC store and others Setting: a lot of food choices and souvenirs Service: the nicest service. Staff educated me on the fish and gave me variety of samples to try Price: well worth the price Parking: private parking in front

Anthony V.

Yelp
Foodland is always my first stop when I land, and it never disappoints! The store is clean, well-organized, and has everything you need, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or stocking up for your stay. The spicy ahi poke is hands-down my favorite--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It's a must-try if you haven't had it yet! I also love their pizza and sandwiches; both are super tasty and make for a great, easy meal. The staff here is always friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even better. If you're looking for quality food and great service, Foodland is the place to go!

Yelp
Note: This is a review for R. Fields wine within Foodland Farms. Overview: For those who want something beyond the supermarket wines but want help making decisions, this is your spot thanks to the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff who can guide you to just the right thing. Wine - Well chosen global offerings at all price points. The only spot in Hawaii openly selling (without having to buy futures), first growth Bordeaux, grand cru Burgundy, and other cult status wines. Beer - NONE. Liquor - brown libations - Limited but different bottling. Main stream labels found in Foodland Farms liquor department. Liquor - Weak. Main stream labels found in Foodland Farms liquor department. Prices: MSRP except Foodland advertised sales that make those prices the lowest on the Island. Staff product knowledge / service: Extremely High thanks to the limited inventory. Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. Conclusion: An outstanding shop for anyone wanting to expand their palate and knowledge in an unintimidating environment. Also a great spot to pickup a high end gift for your favorite wine lover.

Alice T.

Yelp
This is Hawaii's take on Whole Foods, located within the Ala Moana shopping center. The store is spacious, clean, and offers an impressive selection of food. Highlights include the hot bar, party trays, gourmet items, and the deli poke bar. The deli poke bar is a must-visit for high-quality, quick, to-go poke. However, skip the poke bowl--the rice is left out, making it cold and hard.

Andrew B.

Yelp
This foodland is possibly the best grocery store I've ever been in. The produce is beautiful, the baked goods/prepared food is wonderful, and the Poke bar is epic! The staff is great and the store is in fantastic shape. If you have a chance to shop here I would.

Thomas M.

Yelp
We so liked the poke' bowls we had here a few days ago we went back to try the Tapas bar. We bbq ordered the clam linguine and my fav ahi two ways! Nice vino and draft selection, friendly people and stupid good food. If I lived within a commuting distance miles I'd eat here 5 times a week. Best Ahi on the island, clams and linguine were stupid good. All this inside a grocery store. I'll definitely be back, as often as I can get to Honolulu. As it was I made it no less than twice in 5 days!

Kristyn P.

Yelp
There's no place I recommend more to locals and visitors than Foodland! If you need some groceries, snacks for a plane ride, lunch for the beach, local goodies to take back home, potluck item for a party, or a bite to eat...Foodland can check all of those! They also recently reopened their hot food bar where you can choose entrees/sides and pay by the pound. Workers are always friendly and helpful. The Ala Moana location is usually pretty busy no matter what time of day, but it is a supermarket so you'll feel the bustling of people shopping around. Make sure you visit the poke counter for some of their fresh poke, and the chicken counter for the salt and vinegar chicken wings!

Jamie D.

Yelp
This is the fanciest Foodland in Honolulu. I always walk here every time I stay in Waikiki and I come here to get Hawaiian Poke and my year's worth of poke! I know, I know...poke from a supermarket? I was one of these people too until I age then a try and the poke here is legit - delicious and you get such a great value. There's an area where you can sit and eat or take it tot he beach for a picnic or eat in your hotel overlooking the ocean. It's what heaven and paradise feels like!

Angela F.

Yelp
This is a grocery store located in Ala Moana Shopping Centre which I have heard great things about their poke. We decided to try their poke and bento boxes to bring to the beach park outside. The poke was fresh and tasted yummy. The bento boxes were unfortunately not that great, it was lukewarm and nothing stood out. The spam musubi had too much rice and only a thin slice of spam. We also had the cut pineapple which was good but pricey.

Liz P.

Yelp
Wow. This place was pretty cool. This was a giant supermarket with all sorts/types of foods. A little bit of something for everyone. Lots of deli foods, hot and cold, poke bowl station, spam musabi, all sorts of desserts, large produce selection, all other normal food and drinks too. When we got to the cashier, they were fast and friendly. They told us about the rewards program they have. Pretty cool experience overall.

North S.

Yelp
Amazing super market. Anyone who goes to honolulu for a visit or are just locals should go here at least once It is food heaven!!!

Jill W.

Yelp
This grocery store had lots of prepared food. It's really convenient, reasonably priced and delicious. Bought poke for dinner and bento to heat up for breakfast.

Christine J.

Yelp
Crazy big Hawaiian grocer! Lots and lots of souvenirs (coffee, chocolate, macadamia nuts, cookies, you name it) Tons of prepared food for ay hunger levels (musubi, bowls, salads, ube mochi cakes, coconut puddings...) Poke bowl bars that friends say are the best for the price. (I didn't get to try it) I got several Manoa chocolate bars as souvenirs to bring home. love this brand of chocolate, local fruit flavors and not overly sweet. and made in Hawaii. Wish they had a location on Waikiki Beach! bc I wanted to come back the next day.

Kim D.

Yelp
This is a Foodland on just another epic level. Their deli section is just madness at peak hours but I thrive in it. Grab a number and prepare to wake around the poke. They move pretty fast. I love their fresh ahi and scallops poke. Soooo good. Their smoked take felt a bit tough last time I had it, probably won't re-up on that one in the future. Slices of sweets and cakes abound. But you know what you shouldn't sleep on? The chicken skins! And now imagine eating your poke with the chicken skin...not for the faint of heart. It's my favorite Foodland in Hawaii.

Sara M.

Yelp
Foodland was a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed visiting the store and buying some treats to eat and try. There is a lot to try and I highly recommend checking it out. I prefer this location as opposed to the one on the North Shore. Overall, Foodland has wonderful items and something for everyone to try!

Amelia V.

Yelp
Was in this location, which I up until today would visit and grocery shop at least weekly. I will not be here again, at least for any products in the prepared sections!!! I was at the poke counter at about 9:45 am, order a 1/2lb of poke. The lady behind the counter scooped and weighed it... & then dropped it on the floor!!! The lid popped off, poke fell out on the floor, it was gross! She picked up the container put a new lid on it and handed it to me like nothing happened . DISGUSTING yall should train your staff that floor food is not okay to hand to guests I cannot even believe I am writing this review, but do better I 100% stand by everything I've written, you can check ur cameras. It's a rough look I was so shocked and appalled I took it walked away and then tucked the container away in another cooler

Prasiddha H.

Yelp
Had a chance to try Foodland Farms today and god this was absolutely wonderful! We walked around the area but really we were after the poke which was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was that of a grocery store so nothing to fancy but it's the food that makes it worth it. The service was fast and easy and they were super sweet in letting us try all the samples we wanted to see which poke was the one for us. I went with the Hawaiian style one and this was so delicious and fresh! I got the poke bowl which had rice and furikake on it and we also got a bag of the furikake wonton chips which were a wonderful combination! Overall delicious and I would definitely go back!

Emily G.

Yelp
Stopped by Foodland for the first time to try the poke. We went to pickup for dinner on 6/30 and got 4 containers of poke: salmon, 2 types of tuna, and smoked octopus. We also picked up 2 containers of cooked rice so we could eat immediately. We had to get a number and wait in line before ordering. I liked the salmon poke the best! The chunks of fish were huge and sauced perfectly. The tuna was fresh and tasted good as well. Definitely not a fan of the smoke octopus, as it had too strong of a smoky taste for me. The rice was kept under a warmer and paired well with the poke. Overall, I really enjoyed the poke here and would come back.

Jenine Y.

Yelp
Foodland at is a great spot to grab island food and snacks. The poke is definitely a standout--it's flavorful and satisfying, despite some mixed opinions from locals I spoke to. It's always busy, which is a testament to its popularity. The selection of Hawaiian snacks is impressive, with many unique items, making it the perfect place to grab stuff to pack for home. Their fruits are another highlight--fresh, sweet, and vibrant. Whether you're a visitor or a local, Foodland offers a convenient and tasty experience of Hawaii. It's been two weeks since I left the islands and I already miss Foodland.

Akemi O.

Yelp
I love going there...everything is kept so neat so it just looks appealing. My friend and I went with my baby to get something to bring to a potluck since we didn't wanna cook. Personally, not a fan of most of their poke. Too much sauce masks the taste of the fish. Just my personal preference. Always several people bring poke, so we decided to try something else. Sandwich platters were surprisingly expensive. We decided on a platter of garlic chicken...neither of like garlic chicken, but we weren't staying long enough to eat and we figured others would like. Also got lumpia for my daughter...she grinded almost 2 of them, but they actually were super soggy. Think they were hot when then went into the container so steamed it soggy. Not good. Bought a tuna musubi...Didn't realize it was by the salmon musubi sign so I grabbed the wrong one. It was not very good, but daughter ate almost half. Grabbed mini naan. These were nice and soft. I liked it, and daughter ate 1 so she approved also. S&V pork rinds. As far as pork rinds go, I liked that. I like mine harder than light and floofy. But had no flavoring...like they forgot the S&V. Gotta add my own I guess. So overall, I guess I'm not super impressed with the food, even if my daughter is (but I wouldn't trust the judgement of someone who isn't even 1.5 years old). I just like the feel going in there!

Jenny P.

Yelp
Foodland poke was THE thing I was most excited for when visited Hawaii. When they tell you the aunties pack that shiz in there, they're not lying. Also their $2 musubi is better than any other musubi spots we tried. I dreammmmmmm about this poke.

Chenie X.

Yelp
Absolutely loved shopping at the Foodland Farms. The poke bowl was delicious, and I'm sure I'll be missing this place a lot after leaving Hawaii. The space is clean and organized. There's even a wine bar inside the supermarket! There are self checkout as well as assisted ones. It's perfect for getting an easy meal. We took an Uber. It's a little more hassle to set the pickup location as it's inside the Ala Moana mall, but the driver was able to find us once we texted the where we were.

Jessica W.

Yelp
The best grocery store ever with everything that you need from Hawaiian coffee to Hawaiian food and Hawaiian snacks whether you want to eat it there or to take back home. This is a mess for me and I always have to go there at least once or twice they are very well known for their poke bar by the pound. they also have musubi that you can purchase. I love coming here to buy snacks for the beach when I want to beach bum all day. I also have a problem with needing to buy a Foodland hot and cold bag every time I go to store my snacks for the beach. I also love buying Hawaiian coffee there to bring back home. This is the only place I can find fried chicken skin as well. This is the bigger Foodland compared to another one. That is a little bit further from where I usually stay. Everyone should come here and check out what this grocery store has to offer when visiting

Yelp
We visited the famous prepared foods section of Foodland and made a beeline for the poke section. It was kind of a stressful process since it was a bit chaotic (peak lunch hour, a lot of people waiting and vying for position). The process: 1. Grab a ticket 2. Wait for your number to be called (they will move on very quickly if you are not prompt with responding) 3. They may offer one or two samples but it is pretty rushed 4. Order either a poke bowl (set price, one scoop of one fish selection on rice) or poke by the pound (1 scoop = ~1/3lb. Average $28.99/lb for the fresh poke). I opted to order 1/4lb of the ahi california roll poke selection. However, because the labels and the fish were misaligned, I was actually given the shoyu ahi, which was too salty. The counter staff looked displeased when I mentioned that I had wanted a different selection and that the labels were wrong, so I just ended up reordering my original selection and buying double what I originally planned. I did not finish the shoyu ahi (which was not what I wanted - it was too salty) but the other was delicious, light in flavor, and fresh. We also got the salmon, which was under $20/lb, more sweet-savory. Also tried a slice of the ube chantilly cake, which I highly recommend. Next to the poke, there is fresh plain rice. There's also a TON of other food - chicken katsu, bibimbap, yubu, dumplings. Ultimately, I would recommend Foodland as a very solid meal choice. It was an error on their part to misalign the fish choices with the labels of their names, but it does not detract from the store's appeal in terms of prepared food overall.

Yelp
Went here to grab some dinner after going to mall. Love their hot bar. Grandson and I got what we wanted and took it back to room. So many options. They also have stations (pizza, poke, chicken). We just opted for hot bar (chicken, fish, pasta, salad bar, fruit, soup, couple of desserts)

Yelp
This Foodland Farms location is absolutely gorgeous when you enter in. There's colorful flowers, fruits and vegetables to the right and a cafe and HI Steaks to the left. We usually come here for the fun assortment of premade food, perfect for taking to Ala Moana beach right across the street. Our favorite is the poke bowls but make sure to go early because the fresh poke sells out fast (be sure to grab a number from the counter). Everyone is always kind and helpful. The only down side is the prices for the grocery items, but the premade food is reasonably priced.

Yelp
Foodland is always a must whenever we visit Hawaii. Groceries, Hawaiian snacks, bentos, poke they have it all! I think this Foodland is slightly pricier than the others since it's located in the Ala Moana shopping center on the ground floor. I was craving some poke for lunch, so I went on a Saturday around noon and it was pretty busy! You need to grab a number and they'll call your number when it's your turn. I waited about 5 minutes until my number was called. Even though it's pretty hectic, the ladies working at the poke counter were really patient and nice. I got a poke bowl, with the shoyu ahi and white rice. The poke was supposed to be a 1/3 pound but it felt like she put a huge scoop on there! The fish quality was really good and it was the perfect lunch. Some of the fish options are more expensive than the others and I think I chose a more premium one. The total came out to be around $12/13, which is reasonable. Foodland is always my go to for quick lunch or dinner options at a reasonable price. I also love their variety of musubis to choose from as well!

Yelp
Had poke where the tuna was previously frozen but it wasn't disclosed when it was sold! Orange chicken definitely hit and they gave a lot of chicken. Surprisingly the prepared foods section is inexpensive and way better than 7/11 or ABC stores. Fish quality is supreme here!

Yelp
A kind of "Whole food meets Gelson's in Hawai'i". I was really happy to stumble upon this place because you can find any item you want plus numerous speciality items. They have a hot food bar and onigiri/spam musubi options plus a ton of cookies and other things. I really wished they had more options for people who have celiac and can't eat gluten but you can cobble together a few things and eat a meal safely. The staff are friendly and funny and it's got a nice vibe. Definitely stop in if you get a chance!

Yelp
This place is beautiful. I was told by my cousins that Foodland is competitive to Whole Foods. I think Whole Foods a bit too commercialized versus Foodland. We have to remember Foodland is a local based grocery market. They been in Hawaii for a very long time. I can bet that they have farm fresh locally and all ingredients first hand from the island. Don't get me wrong, I am sure they have all the typical things that a normal customer would like to get that are commercialized. The first time stepping into this particular Foodland my mouth dropped because it was just beautiful. Fresh glass case of their poke...a wine section...luxury items like cheese and caviar if you need it. I was told by my cousins that they do carry on a service to prepare a picnic area at the beach park nearby if you want. Imagine if you want to prepare an intimate birthday party if a small group of friends. It would be amazing! I really love Foodland.

Yelp
I'm sure before coming to Hawaii everyone has browsed through the internet or social media and everyone recommending to go to Foodland to get their poke fix. That part is true, however, I would strongly advise against getting poke at this location. It's legit WAY more expensive than any of the other locations. It took me a while to realize that. What I will give to this location is that it's situated at the Ala Moana mall and everything is all nice and fancy inside compared to the other ones. Parking isn't too bad because it's attached to the mall, but yeah the main thing if you're coming for the poke, I would go somewhere else because your dollar will stretch further at another location.
