For my dog’s birthday, we always get her cake from here and she absolutely LOVES it! ❤️ You can tell every bite is made with so much love and care. The owner bakes all her cakes and treats fresh with clean, high quality ingredients and it shows.

we’ve been coming here for the past 4 years ever since we got our dog. what a gem! quality items, quality treats, quality and everything as well as the store owner herself. we get many compliments with the black Italian leather harness and pink collar, my husky pulls a lot, but it doesn’t hurt her at all. we always buy her birthday cakes here and it really smells like it’s made with homemade peanut butter. (i might have tasted it and it was actually pretty good) there’s no other store like this in chicago with as much passion for our best friend’s health

Love this store! I've been coming back every year to For Dog's Sake since 2022, once I found out about the store. The ingredients for the dog birthday cake is so safe that humans can even eat it. The owner is absolutely wonderful! Last year, she was moving location and was so nice to bake a dog cake for my Corgi's birthday last minute! Very grateful for her and her hard work! Already purchased my next birthday cake for my dog :)!

I bought my 1 year old corgi pup Zelda a fluff cake from here and Zelda inhaled her small slice I cut for her. She loved the cake! I will definitely return to buy Zelda treats and a cake for her birthday.

This place is amazing. My rescue dog Noodles had a reunion with 10 of her littermates and her mama for their 1 year old birthday. We ordered a birthday cake here in advance, and it was lovely working with the owner Marcia. She uses all organic ingredients and even made the cake bigger to make sure there was enough for our large group of pups. The store is well-stocked with a variety of high quality food, chews, toys, pet clothing, and baked goodies. We will definitely be back!

We got our dog Rye Bread a little birthday cake from For Dog's Sake earlier this month, and he absolutely loved it! We also picked up an adorable bowtie for him while we were there. The owner kindly helped us choose the best cake for our dog, gave him lots of pets and treats, and even gave us a free candle for his little cake. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Our favorite dog store and the owner,Marcia, is the best and so helpful and honest about any questions we have. Hard to not empty my wallet here with the selection of cool collars and leashes, treats and food. So glad For Dogs Sake is back because no other store comes close to comparison. I ordered a cake online for my dog's first birthday pawty. The cake was adorable (huge) and affordable. The pups all LOVED it and I knew the ingredients were top notch. We also ended up buying some empanadas since my pup loved them!
