Forbes Holiday Park

We stayed here for one night while passing through and had a wonderful experience. Joel and Linda were incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. The kids especially loved feeding and playing with the adorable baby miniature goats—it was such a highlight! They also had a great time toasting marshmallows around the communal fire pit. We stayed in the villa, which was spotless and spacious—perfect for our family of five. We all had plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded.

We stayed overnight in our caravan on our way to Adelaide. We were welcomed by Joel and invited to sit by the fire where we were joined by other guests. Linda, the kids and the goats also joined in. Great facilities and great environment. Very welcoming and relaxing. We will be back.

Arrived to a very friendly reception. All amenities and areas explained Gate key and return of key. The area is clean grassed area well trimmed buildings in good condition and maintained exceptionally well. Our on suit clean and soaps shampoo conditioner floor Matt and broom hand towel. And a heater 👍👍 Puts some of the hi end chains to shame.

Last minute family catchup, we’re made to feel so welcomed. Linda and Joel are very welcoming hosts. The amenities were clean and tidy. Very comfortable cabins. Beautiful park. Kids enjoyed the animals. Will be back soon and recommend!!! 10/10

Listen, I give them a 6st star for the free pen! The service was so good, I want to spend all my holidays in Forbes now! Very accommodating when I had to change my booking last minute! Very clean cabin and lovely grounds. Can't thank these guys enough!

Booked online, arrived check in, card not working paid cash no issues, park site easy to navigate, had a pet friend cabin. Parking right outside, cabin had every thing required for my stay. Park was busy but quite. Staff were friendly and welcoming on checking even mentioning there would be fire and state of origin in the camp kitchen for the evening.

Just spent 3 nights there with family and friends. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The sites are nice and big, many drive through with concrete slabs. The amenities are very clean, would definitely come back.

This is a great park on the edge of town. Really good size sites, I think they are nearly all drive thru which makes life easier. Most have a slab to step out on to. The amenities block was very clean and well looked free. Joel, the owner has done a lot of work here and also has chickens and a couple of little goats out the back which is great for children. They also have a pool and a basketball court for entertainment and most nights he lights a fire at the camp kitchen for travellers to enjoy. The camp kitchen was really good and had very comfortable furniture in it. Highly recommend anyone with a caravan visiting Forbes to stay here.
