Forbes Holiday Park

We spent 2 nights at Forbes Holiday Park in our van on a lovely powered site. The sites are very roomy with easy access to water, power, waste and a tv booster. The park is very well maintained with lovely gardens. The amenities are older but very clean and have shower curtains and bath mats supplied. The hot showers are awesome according to Barry! Joel and Linda, the owners, are very friendly and helpful. There are miniature goats and chickens for the kids to feed and the pool looks lovely. There’s a large chess set, basket ball court and trnnuu it a wall for entertainment. The camp kitchen is excellent with gas bbqs, a fridge, kettle, toaster and some pots and pans. There are plenty of tables and chairs, bar tables and stools and a huge tv! It’s a lovely quiet park, family owned and run. We highly recommend this park if you’re staying in Forbes.

Caravan owners will appreciate the easy lots for hassle-free setup, while those preferring more luxury will adore the beautiful, fresh, modern cabins. ​Finally, it’s the special touches that truly elevate the experience. The park is wonderfully pet friendly, ensuring your whole family can enjoy the break. And for the little ones (or the young at heart!), the resident two miniature pygmy goats and a handful of chickens offer a delightful animal experience. ​Conclusion: A must stay!!! We can’t wait to return to this little gem.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Forbes. We were greeted with a surprise upgrade and a friendly yarn!! We stayed in a very comfortable, modern and spacious cabin (Villa), fitted out with everything that you’d need in the kitchen at home, a full sized fridge and all the modern cooking appliances. Very friendly hosts, that were very hospitable and approachable. The beds and pillows were super comfy and the shower perfectly hot with a good flow! Beautifully maintained grounds, with lots for the kids to do and see, as well as a cute fire down the back at night for the adults to enjoy!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be making this our regular spot to stay in Forbes! Thank you so much! This place is perfect for families, couples or singles. Whether you are camping, caravanning or glamping this holiday park has everything a motel has to offer, plus more!! Definitely worth the price and highly recommend!!

A great family owned caravan park with nice green grassy sites, amenities are older but the cleanest we have seen in a while. There are miniature goats and chickens for the children to interact with. Highly recommend a stay at this fabulous park. It is no longer a BIG4, it is independently owned by a young family who are working very hard to upgrade the facilities and doing a great job.

We stayed 16 days at Forbes holiday park and thoroughly enjoy every moment. The grounds are kept extremely well , amenities are so clean and the pool is well maintained. The first night we arrived we accidentally locked the caravan keys in our van, Joel the owner did everything possible to help and we finally were able to open our van.|Will definitely stay again , easy walk into town as well.

I applaud anyone who takes on the job of running a holiday park. This park is small and green with a lovely pool area and facilities and cabins that maybe a bit dated but are well maintained and clean. Little things like floor mats for the shower win my vote. I hope this family gets a win i can't imagine with people like me who want a penthouse for a night for $40. Defs be back

Last minute family catchup, we’re made to feel so welcomed. Linda and Joel are very welcoming hosts. The amenities were clean and tidy. Very comfortable cabins. Beautiful park. Kids enjoyed the animals. Will be back soon and recommend!!! 10/10

WOW! What a fantastic home away from home! A lovely young family owns the park and absolutely goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great! The cabins are very comfortable and if you’re towing a caravan there is plenty of space within your own area for that also! If you like standing around a fire having a laugh you should book a night or more here. I highly recommend stopping by this park to stay a while! 🙂 Thanks & happy travels 😃
