Forest Cafe (North York)

I recently visited this cute coffee shop, and it was such a pleasant experience! The space inside is surprisingly large and very comfortable, with plenty of seating options. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is also a great selection of pastries to choose from, all looking fresh and delicious. I ordered a cappuccino, which was tasty and rich. The location is also super convenient. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere as it felt welcoming. There was not a lot of seats as it is a small cafe but the staff were welcoming and kind. The matcha was granular but it made it taste amazing. The spinach brioche tasted amazing as the rim of the bread was soft, and the cheesy inside was breathtaking, overall this cafe was a great experience

Craving for something sweet and decided to try this cafe. The prices of everything were pretty decent for what you get. Absolutely loved the vibes and the designs - as the name of the cafe implies. They also have this cute section of accessories! Overall, the experience was great!

I am staying in Don Mills for 2 weeks. As I was looking for a cozy place to work remotely a few days ago, I found this gem. Since then, I have come here almost every day. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow sunlight to beam through, making you feel energetic. As the name suggests, the place is themed as a forest, with wooden fixtures and dark green cups. The coffee is great. I mostly order an Americano or a cortado at a cafe because that lets me taste the coffee. It's very aromatic, with a slight nutty flavour. Not burnt, not sour. Today, I had a grilled chicken croissant sandwich. The veggies they use are very fresh and crispy. Unlike most restaurants, they do not overdo the mayo/sauce, resulting in a perfect blend of all ingredients. The service is also very good. In my first visit, the staff member patiently explained some new items to me so that my choice was informed. Just a tiny suggestion: I would feel even more relaxed if there were more indoor plants inside the shop. This might even fit the theme of a forest! 5/5, I would give a higher score if I can

Stopped in at Forest Cafe for a quick break and tried a few things from the menu. We ordered a cloud yogurt smoothie, an oat latte, a flat white, and a fudge brownie. The latte was unsweetened but had a pleasant, almost nutty flavor. The cloud smoothie was refreshing and balanced, not overly sweet. The flat white was smooth, and the beans tasted like they were of good quality. The fudge brownie was very soft, chewy, and rich with fudgy goodness

I had a great experience at this café! I ordered the dalgona coffee and it was absolutely delicious—creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they put care into making it. The service was excellent as well. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to help with anything I needed. The overall atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making it a really nice place to relax and enjoy a treat. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I really enjoyed the food overall, except for the limited-edition chocolate pistachio croissant, which had a very artificial pistachio flavor. The egg and bacon croissant sandwich, however, was excellent. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing because no one was cleaning the tables, and there was water leaking from the ceiling at the entrance. 😐

Cute cafe to study or grab brunch! There are lots of seats but probably need to get there early to secure one. I loved the strawberry yogurt smoothie the best!
