Always a friendly welcome as I arrive and live marron can't get any fresher they do a great job to help you out with the critters your after I will always stop in if I'm down visiting . They have a range of sizes to cater for what your after and are all alive and fresh it's not a trip to pemberton without a feed of marron and they can help while seasons are closed. Keep your receipt while traveling

Wondering for having a fresh marron in Pemberton and casting for trout. But no luck (most place closed). Went to Forest Fresh Marron. Easy access. Very welcoming bloke showing us around the Marron area. Explaining size difference; how to handle the Marron; how to cook the Marron. We enjoyed boiled Marron afterward in the accommodation… 😃😃😃

Our first try of this freshwater crayfish. Was sceptical that it may have mud taste as of other freshwater fish. Surprise, surprise, there isn’t. We have it cooked by the seller (yes there’s charges), and the taste is superb, super nice …plus we at it with honey beer (yum, yum) and before we left Pemberton, we ordered another 2. Thumbs up.

We got some marrons from here. Boil them. Add butter garlic. Absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced as well. Really enjoyed them.

5 Stars! Fresh Marron is better than lobster or crab! It is so sweet. My mouth is watering whilst writing this review. If you are visiting Pemberton, DO NOT go past without buying fresh marron here. We purchased a couple of live marron and took them back to the caravan park where we were staying and cooked them up. Teemed with home made garlic butter and fresh salad, and washed down with a coldie, doesn't get any better!

This place has plenty of big and medium sized marron at $70/kg.It has EFTPOS or cash and the marron are packed into a polystyrene box with ice bricks if you don't bring your own Esky.

Good place to buy live marron when you visit Pemberton. The marrons are sold based on the size. You can also ask them to put the marrons in a box with ice packs to keep the marrons alive so you can carry them back to Perth.
