Countrywinds Farms located in Zeeland, Michigan has the best sun dried tomato and garlic parsley goat cheese spread. I enjoy select dry shelf specialty items like Rao’s pizza sauce and invest in glass Lighthouse refrigerated ranch. They make a good seasoned with light spice Italian sausage good for grilling, portion quality ground beef, and have nice steaks for sale. I wish to try some of their other deli items as they inspire me. 🇮🇹 🧀 🍅 🧄 🌿 🐐 🥩

This place is awesome! Their deli is phenomenal and they have a sushi section, pannini sandwitch deli, hot food section, soup and salad bar area, amazing produce and awesome meats. Wife and I make this a must stop when we are in the area.

I love Forest Hills Foods. I live about 20 minutes away but drive there sometimes because it's such a great grocery store. You can't beat the hot food or their incredible customer service.

I love Forest Hills Foods. It is always clean and well stocked. They have a great variety of gluten free and dairy free foods. The staff is very friendly too.

Nice shopping center. Found items I didn't know existed! And the best bakery! The more I shop here the more I like it!!!! I can't say enough nice things about this place! Always find specials that I didn't expect! Update: This has now become my #1 place to Grocery Shop. I know so many people who work here like Nick, Max, Joe, Sean,etc. Prices are competitive and quite a few specials no one else has.

I found this place by mistake. I was on a family trip and we were needing a break along with some coffee. Without even imagining it, we truly found a piece of gold filled with diamonds. Honestly, we just visited the Starbucks inside the store ;however, the whole supermarket was impressively amazing. The Starbucks location was like one of those sites you find by mistake, but later you don't want to leave it. The vibe was clean and radiant. the walls immersed with contemporary art showed magnificent good taste. We live pretty far from this unique place but promised to go back again soon.

Stopped in to possibly grab something from the soup or hot food bar. Was hoping for some brisket but the tray was empty. But staff told me there might be some packages just past the sushi prep counter. And yes they did have some but I worked food service. And something sitting in a hot case for 10 hours I don't consider that safe to eat. Generally hot foods are kept no longer than 4-5 hours. And not only that the price difference. When available you get BOTH the pulled pork and the brisket on the hot bar for 9.99 a pound. Yet if they put it in plastic containers suddenly the Pork is 8.99 and the Brisket is 13.99? That is extremely shady and disgusting. And explains why it sat there 10 hours. Grocery store brisket at BBQ joint prices. Just NO. Next they'll be charging high end sushi place prices for their sushi. Will I still swing in if I'm in the area. Possibly as some of the soups are quite good. Will I let them bait and switch me on the hot bar absolutely not. Because they just killed the one item on the entire bar that was worth getting. Who pays $10 a pound for peas, corn (I can buy a 15 oz can for less than a dollar), mashed potatoes, TACOS etc ..

The store is always well stocked with product, and very well staffed. (There are also special needs employees.) Employees always have positive attitudes and are friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed with this grocery store. I bought some peaches on feb. 21, 2024 that were very hard. I waited about a week for them to ripen and they didn't get much softer. I finally cut into them they were all rotten. I don't think they were ever good. I contacted the store, but I didn't save my receipt so they wouldn't do anything for me. They were kind of expensive, I would have been nice to at least get store credit. They were disgusting. They closed my case without even talking to me. Very disappointed in their customer service. Their website misleads into thinking they have all sorts of unicorn bourbon in stock. Do not be misled, they do not.

Went in to get my flu shot and booster today at around 8:00 am to avoid the crowds. They've got a lot of workers out with covid . They refused to give them out because said were to busy!! I was the only one there! Gotta say, not real happy about their lack of concern.

I shop here regularly and find that their produce is outstanding, as is their deli. I love that you can special order meat items and that they carry your groceries to your car. In winter, that's everything. The 4 stars would be 5, but they need to train their newbie butchers a bit more. The yellow tape to "fix" the bad wrapping of my New Year's crab still makes me laugh.

Forest Hills foods carries all part of the specialty items that our family enjoys. They also carry your groceries out to your car for you. Everyone working here tends to be extremely friendly. This is a small store but that also makes it easier to run in and just grab what you need and get out.

Although the prices here for food are kind of high, this is a great place to shop. They seem to have everything you want and need, they have a great produce/deli section which entices me for lunch whenever I am in there. They have a really awesome growler filling station, and they always have excellent beers on tap! There is also a Starbucks in here, which makes it that much better! Seems like whenever I am have been here, parking kind of sucks - and getting out of that parking lot because of the busy intersection corner location is even worse.

Admittedly, I only come in for their Starbucks, and Forest Hills' donuts. The Starbucks is OK. They're usually pretty busy as this is the only nearby location other than on the main drag of 28th. They do a pretty good job. The donuts are some of my favorites. They're always fresh and they have a couple sour cream varieties that are pretty fantastic. That aside, I like that FH has a hot breakfast bar and all kinds of other gourmet options to grab for lunch, etc. I'll have to actually take a walk around the store sometime to see what else they offer but it's a solid spot to grab something to eat.

Although I really like shopping at Forest Hills Foods, I have to say how very disappointing their TURKEY DINNER DELUX package was. It was pretty bad and we will never order our Thanksgiving meal from them again. The 'piece' of turkey given was so overcooked and dried out, we had to throw it away. The cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing was just pre-packaged containers that we could have walked through the store and grabbed ourselves...and they weren't very good. On the plus side, the ham was the only good item received and enjoyed. We couldn't believe this came from Forest Hills Foods. This store is usually top notch in everything they do and offer. Oh well, lesson learned.

Date/Time of Visit: 11/17/2018 9:15pm Darrin at the front counter was very helpful. We needed a single item but we're pleasantly greeted as we approached the checkout. Service was expeditious and attentive. As are most experiences that we've had here over the past 25 years, this was a decent and reliable neighborhood store to visit.

Wendy and the whole starbucks team is amazing. They know me by name, actually take time to get to know me. I think they ALL should get a raise, i love them!! - kaden

This is my "go-to" grocery. It's a reasonable size, but a very good selection. Many specialty items. Great meat market and seafood section. Very good deli. Their cakes are great. Nice little coffee bar. The owner gives back to the community and sponsors many local teams, groups and charities. The parking lot can be a nightmare--because it's so popular. Beware of dangerous drivers!

good hot bar. particularly the chicken tendies. and friends say the wing zings are delicious as well, but be warned they got a lil' spice in the bite. i would comment on the starbucks there, but it s like every other basic starbucks so no need for that. donut selection not up to my standards. check out my review on sprinkles if you want some donuts. 7/10

This is a solid grocery store, a little bigger than a D&W with the produce being a bit better than a D&W but still nowhere as good as the Meijer at Knapp Corner. I have not noted the poor service at this store that others have, but it is also not anything spectacular. Sometimes I notice the checkout process is a bit slow, but not terribly so. The meat and seafood counters are decent. I don't hesitate to shop here if I'm passing by.

A really great store. Love the bbq, soup and salad bar. As a cook I really like the chopping service, I am addicted to buying prechopped onions. Love the mail service and baggers are a nice touch.

Time for an update. It's been a couple months or so since the store was renovated. Spartan stuffed more items in to and rearranged the store. I'll probably get used to it eventually but I can't find things anymore. Hence the 3 stars. Overall, employees are nice but there are still some who act arrogant like in the meat department and the bakery. Prices are still more than what I want to pay for. Parking lot is stupid! Too many idiots not giving way to pedestrians.

This is, bar none, the best grocery store I've ever been too. They even have a little cafe with wi fi! There is a huge selection of food, organic, regular, fresh produce galore and a tasting bar where a chef makes some yummy goodies to sample. You can almost have a light lunch at that bar for free. I really do love this store because it's bright and clean and has everything! And the baggers insist on carrying your purchase to your car. The employees are helpful, and look like clean cut college students and the ideal butcher, checker, etc...like out of a prime time commercial. Go there.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and have been a huge fan of FHF from day one. Spartan took it over a couple of years ago and they have succeeded in making it into something completely different than the perfection it used to be. They used to have everything you could want at practical prices. The new regime has replaced simple with the extravagant from the deli to the the canned food aisles. Too many items have been removed from the shelves and replaced with things we don't and won't buy. The BBQ is some of the worst I have ever experienced which is true of many of the changes that have been made. We live so close that we usually visit daily and used to do all of our shopping there. No more. We now use it as a convenience store and have noticed the traffic, especially in rush times has dramatically dropped off.

This morning during our pleasant and leisurely grocery shopping trip to Forest Hills Foods, a very warm and friendly older gentleman bagged and carried our groceries out to the car. My husband offered him a cash tip (as we customarily do for the baggers here), and the man politely declined as he informed us that he is actually the manager. I think that commitment to pitching in when help is needed, regardless of the task, says everything about this store!

Shopped here since the 60's. since the Spartan/ Nash buy out the service and personal touch has gone down hill.

Great selection, decent prices, very clean-it's the closest thing to a Vons that I've found in Michigan. Good selection of organic goods. They have food you can eat there or take home. They employ people to take your things out to your car. This has taken some getting use to but they employ a bunch of local kids, so who am I to complain? I drive 20 mins to shop there; there is nothing in Grandville that comes close.

Great produce department. My family really enjoyed the take and bake pizzas they make. In a few weeks I will be there for the white cane lions club charity. Make sure you say hi!

I have heard nothing but good things about this store. I drove across town to get some fresh seafood sashimi grade tuna steaks in particular. Not impressed. I bought no seafood. The steaks were disappointing as well yes some of us know the difference between good marbling and grizzle. No steaks either.

Good selection but they could work on getting some more organic produce and a bulk section. I love getting lunch at the cafe if I have time!

Great place to grocery shop & return cans because they have the machine you just dump all your cans in. The deli, salad bar, & meat selection is nice. I would have given 5 stars if the older butcher lady was not always unpleasant to deal with. Make sure you bring some cash to tip the baggers, they won't let you take your own groceries to your car unless you can carry them out with 2 hands.

My go-to grocery store! Great fresh meat & dairy. Nice management. Great seafood sales and occasional tasting events in the deli. One of the few stores where clerks will carry your bags to car for you. And yes, they do take tips. Good inventory overall with reasonable prices. Parking lot and pharmacy service can be a problems but with a free birthday cake every year with their store card who can complain?

Great store, always improving well lit and clean. the employees at the pharmacy are cold and I have switched to Keystone. Love the Starbucks and their paninis

FH Foods has been my favorite store for 30 years. It is hard to explain just how comforting it is to know you will find quality products, amazing service, and long-time employees who take pride in their work. I'll never figure out how it is that there is always a helpful bagger in your aisle ready to pack and carry your groceries to your car - I can honestly say that in 30 years I have never had to wait for this wonderful perk. I use their pharmacy as well. The store is clean, has a great food bar, eat-in area...fresh-squeezed orange juice in produce...lots of gluten-free and organic food choices, a nice bakery...and the store is just the right size. Because it is such a sweet spot, if you have options, do your shopping outside of lunch hours. Even so, if you do want to stop there for a lunch, you will likely be served more quickly than any fast food place because of the many cash registers.

Ok I know this may sound strange,but I only come here to return bottles for refund.Why you ask,because I think they have the coolest bottle machines ever!Here you can return aluminum,glass,and plastic in the same machine which is super convenient.At other stores these are usually split so you have to wait to do your glass after you get done with bottles and so on.They also have a machine called "Can Do" which allows you to pour a bunch of cans in at 1 time and you just sit there while the machine does all of the counting,so cool!

nightmare parking lot leads in to overcrowded snowbird uptightness, high prices, average produce, and a generally meh grocery. many better grocery options just minutes away. this place is to d&w as sizzler is to morton's. it's ok in a pinch, but drive five minutes further and hit better options. and the grocery carryout is great... if you're 90.

I've been shopping at Forest Hills Foods for decades and have enjoyed and benefitted from them becoming more food savvy. One thing they need to carry is pork belly. It takes more than a week to order it, which is ridiculous. Pork belly, while perhaps not "mainstream", is certainly an on trend item that would complement well the balance of their offerings. Come on, Foods, step up! Thanks.

This grocery is right around the corner from my house, but I don't shop here. The parking lot is an overpacked, overcrowded disaster. Absolutely horrible. The prices are high and the clientele walk around looking stressed out and uptight...probably because the store is always so packed. The good? Produce is solid and products are fresh. Doesn't make up for the crazed atmosphere, though. Sorry FH Foods, but I take the extra 5 minutes and drive down the road to Family Fare or D&W for stress free shopping.

The Best Panini in town. Ask to have it cooked an extra 30 seconds. My favorite the California. Busy but good service. Goes to prove if you do the right things you will be successful. I think anything made here is a good bet.

Have shopped here for 20 years & have loved shopping here--but since it has been sold it's a whole new deal. Most of the meat & cheese displays are filthy, greasy dust strings in the air vents of meat & cheese actions, unidentifiable food & dirt swept into end aisle corners, outdated food on shelves Employees used to be quick to help but lately they just say "i guess they're out of it". Really disappointed & looking for a new place to shop.
