"Originally home to the U.S. Open, this storied venue now hosts concerts with top billings like My Morning Jacket and Nas set against the backdrop of tennis courts. Come for the tunes, stay for the plethora of food vendors."

This is hands down the best stadium/venue I have ever been to. I flew from Utah to come to the Jon Bellion concert and I cannot stop telling everyone about how DOPE this venue is. Seriously the coolest venue, best sound, best visuals on screen, best food, just overall so so impressed. Staff was SO KIND. 10/10 would recommend.

Google
Saw Hozier and Allison Russell here a little over a year ago, and had a fantastic experience. It’s an amazing outside venue, very clean and well-maintained. The staff are very nice and it’s overall an outstanding atmosphere with perfect views. My favorite concert and venue thus far, and I hope to go back one day.

Google
Awesome concert venue. Close to mass transit and various restaurants and bars. The facility is clean, and they allow you to bring a refillable water bottle to save some money while at the venue. Lots of choices for food & drink, including various types of alcohol. All concerts must be finished by 10pm because of local noise ordinances, which allows you to get home at a reasonable time or an early start to your night out.

Google
What a fantastic place! It was fun to walk through the neighborhood and into this hidden gem of an entertainment venue. I couldn't be more complimentary about the abundant patient and helpful staff, the surprisingly good bathroom situation and a really nice selection of food and other amenities!

Google
I saw Phish at Forest Hills Stadium and it was an absolutely beautiful experience. The venue itself is stunning - historic and full of charm. Tons of great drink options too (way more than your average venue), and the vibe was relaxed and fun. I also really appreciated the early start time due to the neighborhood noise ordinance. Phish sounded amazing, the crowd was great, and I would 100% come back to this venue again.

Google
Forest Hills Stadium was greatest as a live music stage, even though it seated 13,000 people, because it was a highly intimate and close experience. Luis CK's incredible performance was the true evening pivots, but having openers Tim Dillon and Chris Stefano built on towards a great even show. The concert ending before 10 p.m. was a bonus feature to boot, enabling an easy return home at a decent hour following an eventful evening. Forest Hills Stadium has excellent acoustics and a retro vibe, according to user reviews. It has also been voted one of the East Coast's top music venues. Its convenient access location in Queens, New York City, within the charming Forest Hills neighborhood, is also a factor. Easy LIRR and subway trip. Overall, this is a great place to catch your favorite artists in a fun, intimate environment.

Google
With the right band and the right vibe, an absolutely brilliant venue. Great beer selection and easy access to subway. A must every summer for NYC music fans.

Google
Came from New Hampshire for a Jon Bellion concert. Although parking is inconvenient, it gave me a good excuse to stay in a hotel in Manhattan, experience a train ride and the best concert of my life. Venue was clean, sounded great, had very friendly staff and surprisingly good food.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying this venue has always been great with accommodations (but lower those food prices!$$$) and the artists have been phenomenal. But what really sets this place apart from other venues are the staff and security that allow this all to happen. One security officer in particular, Kevin, was extremely professional, helpful, and made the experience just another reason why I'll always drive the distance to come out and see some great bands at Forest Hills Stadium. Thank you again Kevin, I hope the kindness you showed is returned to you tenfold! Sincerely, That redhead you helped.

Yelp
I attended the Black Keys show last night. While it is completely understandable that a weather event is totally out of the control of the venue or the band, it is unacceptable and outrageous to have a 2 hour and 10 minute delay and make NO ANNOUNCEMENTS the entire time. The storm passed by 8 PM, and yet the show didn't start until 9:10. The lights went down at 8:50, and the audience, already frustrated from almost two hours of standing around, had to wait twenty more minutes. Why? No one knows. Were there technical issues created by the electrical storm? Perhaps, but we had no idea, because they didn't have the courtesy to tell us. With substantial rain in the forecast, it seems like there could have been a plan to prepare more thoroughly and get the show going more quickly. The band did their best to salvage the evening, but FH management deserves a 0/10 in terms of consideration for its patrons. No appreciation for the people who paid a substantial amount of money to come to the venue. Do better.

Yelp
Forest Hills Stadium is a 100+ year-old 15,000 capacity-seated venue in Queens. Cool Facts: The U.S. Open was previously held at Forest Hills Stadium & concerts began at this venue in the1960's. It is close to 1.) Jade Eatery and Lounge (Asian- Fusion Cusisine), 2.) Near Long Island Railroad's (LIRR) Forest Hills Station, 3.) blocks away from various other eateries, stores & hang-out spots & lastly 4.) minutes away from the E, F & M trains at the Forest Hills -71 MTA Train Station. We visited Forest Hills Stadium last week to see Kaytranada live in Concert! Kaytranada performed 2 sold-out back-to-back shows & we attended the concert on 10/6. Arriving at the stadium, we first went through security & then staff scanned our tickets via the AXS App. There are multiple food / beverage vendors & a merch (shirts, albums, posters, etc.) for sale. There are unisex bathrooms. Individuals that purchase General Admission Floor Tickets are guaranteed floor/ standing access that is closer to the stage. We had General Admission Bowl Tickets & were on Tier 2 which consists of bleacher-style seating. Once we selected a stairway entrance, we went up and chose some seats. At Forest Hills Stadium, patrons choose their seats if you not in the floor area & are in a tier w/ seating. The concert was electric from beginning to end! Sam Gallaitry, Channel Tres & Kaytranada were all phenomenal! Every song, especially all of Kaytranada's music reminded us this was not just a concert, but a party!!! We were dancing the entire show! Kaytranada's "Bubba" Album is my favorite & it was one of the many great albums that got me through while working remotely from home during the height of COVID-19. When song "10%" blasted through the sound system, it reminded me of how grateful I am to have made it through that time. Everyone at Forest Hills Stadium had the times of their lives. The icing on the cake was Kaytranada & Channel Tres performing "Drip Sweat". Overall, A Great Show! Please bear in mind that if you attend a sold-out show @ Forest Hills Stadium, you run the risk of being in an area where it gets overcrowded. People that came to the concert late were standing in the walkway areas instead of going to find seats that had a less-than-desirable view of the stage. Security mentioned that this has ooccurred because it is a sold out show. This can cause a safety hazard & the hope is that Forest Hills Stadium can do something to address this concern. Other than that, we had a good experience. Website - foresthillsstadium.com Instagram - @foresthillsstadium

Yelp
My favorite venue to see a show. You really can't go wrong sitting in any section. Entering is a quick process but exiting could be streamlined a little better. It's in a residential area so it's best to either take public transportation to get there or park in a paid lot. Arrive early for your event and enjoy food and drinks on the lawn (at a higher cost than you would normally pay, but that's to be expected).
google avatar

Yvonne D.

Yelp
First time at this stadium to see Kaytranada on a Friday night. Many food options! We had rockstar chicken and it was good but could've been better if it was fresh. You could tell the chicken tenders had been sitting out. Bathrooms were busy but the lines moved and they were pretty clean when I went at the start of the show. I love the layout, you pretty much get a perfect view from anywhere in the stadium. Lots of stairs to climb unless you are on the floor, so beware. They do have people coming through the sections selling drinks so catch one and you won't have to go back down to refill!
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
They're lying on the seating map about obstructed view and also aisle seats. I've done obstructed view but let me know what I'm getting into. Live Nation venues are less stressful, with enough bathrooms that you can guzzle Liquid Death without worry (except for the difficulty of getting to places like Manasquan or Mastic Beach). The entry process was brisk. Egress is another story, especially if you're way up in the bleachers. Apparently because of the ongoing wars with NIMBYs, everyone's corralled into one street when leaving. LIRR is slightly quicker than the subway if Penn Station is vaguely on the way, but the time saving is reduced by an 80s Limelight/Palladium line.
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best music venues I've ever been to. Terrific repurposing of the former US Open Tennis stadium. Also, because the stadium is surrounded by a bunch of NIMBYs, there is a noise ordinance - no music after 10pm. For those of us aged 40, that's not a bad thing, I assure you. Seating is stadium style. Old metal bleachers. I don't mind this, but can understand why someone might. Easy in & out access. Plenty of train lines nearby. The real reason this place gets 4* is because it's beautiful, has an amazing backdrop as the sun is setting & the moon is rising, and has a really good sound. I just had an incredible time. As beer and food pricing goes, it is what it is. Prepare to pay $10 for a Bud Light.

Yelp
Amazing staff accommodation to my gf with spinal bífida lead her directly to where she needed to be . Large array of vendors great seating overall except for parking a great experience . All the staff was a blessing.

Yelp
I've come to forest hills for numerous shows and events over the years, and honestly, I would say it's one of my favorite venues in NYC at this point! Stage visibility from the bleachers is great. Staff working there is friendly and helpful. Good food options. Located near the E, making it easy to get to from Manhattan. I'm looking forward to my next show there!

Yelp
Forest Hills is such a cool and unique music venue and much bigger than it appears from the outside. The food at this stadium is BOMB. Seriously so good with tons of options ranging from Korean fried chicken, burgers, wings, ice cream, arepas and more. It's pretty organized getting in and out and the view from the bleachers is awesome. The acoustics are super unique too because you're in a dome of sorts. All in all I really loved this music spot and would definitely go back. Oh and something I learned after the fact is you can bring in your own empty water bottle - this is really nice and not very common at other music venues!

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. My husband is disabled so he uses a scooter. It was easy to get to on the LIRR. It was an easy few block walk to get to the stadium. There were a lot of crew helping. The food and drinks were great. Plenty of restrooms. We found our seat on the floor with ease. The concert started and we were soon surrounded by people. People were pushing and walking into my husband's scooter. people were standing directly in front of him. I had to stand in the aisle so people would not push him over. completely unsafe for handicap. Not worth the money. So sad.

Yelp
Love this stadium. Went to see Jungle and signed up for the golden orchard VIP area. It was lots of fun. Played ping-pong and enjoyed a few drinks prior to the show. Seats are free for all within a certain section (based on your tickets). View is average and sound is great! Will definitely come back for more. PS - really cool to walk past the tennis courts on the way in. PPS - they also host other events - fit for foodies!

Yelp
There are significant pros and cons for this venue. Pros: - good acts - good concession options - multiple water bottle refill stations - close to the train station - good customer service Cons: - almost impossible to park a car near the venue - you will probably have to stand if you want to see the show - there can be long line at the bathroom - you will want a seat back (extra cost) if you have a seat in the upper bowl
google avatar

Betsy J.

Yelp
Great place for a concert. Clean venue lots of food options. The only negative is that most of the seats are bleachers so if that is an issue come prepared.
google avatar

Kaitlyn K.

Yelp
I know I'm a New Yorker who is supposed to say I love MSG (and I do!!) but I think Forest Hills is my favorite place to see a concert. The consistent tennis theme, the chance to pop in and out of the concert area to get something to eat/drink and still be so close, the acoustics, the convenience of the train, the nice Main Street area outside... yea, it's currently my favorite concert venue. I've seen both Fleet Foxes and Joyce Manor/Weezer and enjoyed both tremendously. I personally enjoy the general admission area (as you can see from the pictures - even standing towards the back is a great view). Excellent experiences, 10/10, highly recommend :)

Yelp
So easy to get here right off the Long Island railroad. When you get inside, there's several different places to get food. Yes they're expensive but I'd be shocked if they weren't considering they've got a captive audience. Good variety for food and drink. I wish all the seats had backs. Depending on where you sit, you will not have one. But the stadium itself is great. I really feel like it doesn't matter where you said you're gonna have a really good view because it's not too huge of a stadium will definitely come back here in the future for more events

Yelp
Worst ticketing experience ever. If your ticketing app is worse and more predatory than Ticketmaster, you should really reevaluate your life choices. I had two tickets in my cart for $155 each, and after I was entering my cc info I got a pop up that said ticket prices are subject to change. Then my total updated to over $1200, AFTER I WAS ALREADY IN THE CHECKOUT PROCESS. Thank goodness I noticed the change before hitting purchase. I don't understand how this isn't fraud. It should be illegal. In addition to the shady pricing shenanigans, their ticketing interface (AXS, who I would also review but they aren't on yelp) is the least user friendly app I have ever seen. It kicked me out multiple times for being a bot, and when you adjust the parameters of your search it only lasts about a minute then resets to the original search. Also, you can't purchase a single ticket, even if the available seat is a standalone with no empty seats next to it. It makes no sense. Horrible experience, top to bottom. Zero out of ten, do not recommend.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite venue in the city. It's so beautiful and the venue is smaller so no matter where you are, you get a great view. In addition they have plenty of washrooms so the line is never huge. They have a lot of food options and the staff everywhere are very helpful. Easy to get to by train. The cut off for noise is 10 pm, so the shows start on time.

Yelp
I can see both sides of this venue from reviews. Plus: Easy security. I went right through with no checks. Minus: Too easy. You could sneak who knows what inside. Plus: Well, maybe that can be a plus. Depends what you're sneaking. Minus: Seats. Rough. Wish GA was cheaper cause I was not comfortable on the barren metal around the arena. Plus: Intimate venue overall. Others have said it, no bad seat in the house. Nothing too far. Yeah, the 100s and 1000s are a bit sideways, but my 902 was just fine. Minus: Poor sound quality overall. Others have said it, muted for the neighborhood. I often had trouble hearing what was said - music came through fine, lyrics okay, but speech not so much. Plus: Timing. I don't get why people are down on things ending at 10:00. I got 4 hours of concert tonight, it just started at 6 instead of 7. And the set breaks were among the shortest I've ever experienced, less than 1/2 hour between sets. Big plus. Minus: Minimal amenities inside. No bathrooms, just a range of port-a-potties. They fortunately set up a water stand with nearby cups, but the cups aren't AT the water stand, they also want to sell you water at $6 a bottle, and there are no fountains, just the one stand. Plus: Close enough to Forest Hills train and subway stops to use transit. Minus: Good luck finding a spot if you're driving. 3 stars feels a bit high - I've decided I never want to return to this venue - but it has a very nice GA area if you're willing to pay, gourmet food vendors inside, and as I said, no real bad seats. Just no good ones. So I'll settle on 3.

Yelp
I haven't been here in awhile but it's still the same as before- pretty spacious for this particular event. When I came before it was also for Eeeeatscon and it the vibe was a bit different but that wasn't due to the venue. I can't speak on the bathroom situation since I didn't use them but everything was clean. They didn't have litter anywhere so the grounds people were doing very well with the cleanup. The vendors all had their areas seemingly well kept and when they were done tihnitems it looked like they were well disposed of. The only thing that is an issue is if you drive here. Fortunately I took an Uber but my friend drove and I'm sure she spent the better part of an hour looking for parking. Also not the venues fault but I think with it being a stadium you would think they'd have a lot or have a deal with a nearby parking facility... Maybe they do and I'm just not aware of it but as someone who has gone to since it pretty much started in NYC I would think I'd have heard something about a parking arrangement. It's not going to stop me from going next year though lol

Yelp
This historical stadium celebrated 100 years this year. By the entrance were a row of food stands. Some tables under umbrellas but a lot of people, like us, just sat on the artificial green on the ground. Walked under the stadium with photos of previous performers and more food vendors. Went up a narrow stairway then ushers pointed to the general area of our assigned seats, bleachers for the upper sections, so had to made sure it was ours. We were in section 402, with a tall light pole blocking our view so have to remember not that area in the future. Seating in front of the stage were folding chairs, and noticed that most people were standing during the show (would block those who wish to remain seated). I liked that it was an open-air stadium bec. nice to be outdoors on a warm summer night. It also helps with the sound esp. for people with sensitive ears. One in my family does and was worried he can't go to any concert or would have to leave early, but we were happy he was able to go. A con could be if the weather isn't perfect. We did bring ponchos bec of the rain forecast but it didn't come. Near the Forest Hills subway and LIRR stops; but if you drive and are willing to walk, come early to look for street parking but not so close to the stadium, or meter parking along busy Queens Boulevard (some end at 7pm then free). Many places to eat in the area before the show.

Yelp
A dump. Good sound system is its saving grace and only amenity. Neil Young had his sound go out in two songs on May 15, unacceptable.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this venue to see Chic and Duran Duran, but my partner has been here multiple times and absolutely loves it. We took the LIRR and it was just a 10 or so minute walk from the beautiful Forest Hills station and neighborhood. I admire and respect the history of this place built in the 1920s for the U.S. Open. There are photos and short bios scattered throughout of past tennis players, bands and artists who have played and performed here. We sat in bleacher types seats in section 9, row NN, (left of the stage) which were not the most comfortable but we stood most of the time anyway (as everyone in front of us stood the entire time). While most say there is not a bad seat in the house, I would prefer to sit closer and in the center. The place holds 13,000. The sound was great and the vibe was relaxed and fun. Fortunately, the night we attended the weather was clear with a nice breeze going. I definitely needed the light sweatshirt I brought. We had no problems or hassles entering the venue and there were plenty of vendors for drinks, food and snacks, although many had long lines. Prices were outrageous but comparable to other arenas. FYI-this is a NO cash venue. The unisex restrooms were clean and plentiful and they did have 1 water filling station we found to fill up the water bottle we brought (which I would recommend). Getting out was not too bad once we got down the stairs from our seats. We walked through the residential area for a few blocks before calling a cab. Seems the ideal place for any summertime show.

Yelp
Oh what a festival! I am a native New Yorker- a Brooklyn-nite to be exact! My very 1st time at venue and it was great! Despite the sweltering heat, the Rock The Bells Festival and LL Coo J made hip hop proud. What I was particularly impressed by were the restrooms. Clean and well maintained for an all day event! If you arrive early enough for you event, you will find decent parking.... But READ and OBEY the signs!

Yelp
Came here for the 88rising HITC festival last month. Honestly a nice venue & I had a great time. 2 complaints: #1: Your security is not all on the same page. We checked the website before going & it stated what bags/backpacks & items were allowed. We brought our backpack as it fit the dimensions required for entry according to the forest hills stadium website. They searched our bag at the entrance & said we were good to proceed. When we proceed to the 2nd level of security, we get to the security lanes for entry & one security personnel yells "No backpacks allowed! You need to check it at the bag check," which is not free by the way. So, I did. However, I come back to enter & the lanes next to this guy have multiple people with backpacks entering & just strolling through (????). Some people had backpacks larger than ours AND extra tote bags/second backpacks they were bringing in (????) We were so confused. The 2nd day of the festival I brought the same bag in past 3 security personnel & no one said a thing. I guess I just picked the wrong lane to enter the first day LOL. Anyway, I understand the entry requirements differ depending on the event, but please have your personnel be better organized & consistent. #2: Restricting access into the stadium: There were maybe 10 different entrance tunnels to get into the stadium. Staff started restricting entry completely into the stadium when it started to get more crowded for some of the acts. It got to a point where people literally could not enter because of staff telling them "it's too crowded over here. Try the next tunnel." At one point, staff at all 10 tunnels were saying the same thing & no one was being let in for a festival they paid $200+ for, for some of these artists. One staff member came yelling down the stairs at the top of his lungs, "It's completely full! It's completely full! No more capacity!" Bro was STRESSED, let me tell you. Anyway, they eventually let people up anyway because people were arguing. It. Was. Not. Full. There were seats at the top back of the stadium we found easily. Constantly heard people arguing "I just went to the bathroom/got concessions, my friends & my seat are in this section" & they could not get back to where they were sitting because staff was getting in the way. I get trying to keep traffic flow going smoothly but please let adults decide where they need to go. The baby sitting is unnecessary. Constantly arguing with staff to get back up after you grab something to eat causes more of a backup than letting people move freely for themselves.

Yelp
We went for an EDM concert with WhatSoNot, Troyboi, and Illenium with a group of around 9 people. This venue is by far one of my favorites for the kind of show we were going to. There was a huge crowd at the bottom of people who opted to stand the whole time, but we chose to sit in the bleachers and it was much more enjoyable that way since we had no issues keeping our group together and we were able to sit down when we felt like it. There were also a whole host of food stalls to choose from, and a station where we could fill our water bottles. There were plenty of bathrooms as well and they were pretty clean and organized. This venue is pretty close to the MTA which is very convenient and the walk is pleasant, it's surprising all of this is so close to NYC.

Yelp
I LOVE this venue! I came here today for a Death Cab for Cutie concert and had an amazing time. The place is super well run and the lighting effects that accompanied the music was absolutely flawless! There's something about going to a concert in an old tennis stadium that really adds a remarkable element to the experience. Beers are a bit pricey but that's to be expected. The vibes here are off the chart. This was my second time seeing a concert here (first was in June of 2021 for Bright Eyes) and I can't wait for my third!
google avatar

Xenia M.

Yelp
I love that this stadium is small and conveniently located to mass transit. I came here over the summer for the Leon Bridges concert and had a great time. The only downside is that the seats are bleacher style, so it can be harsh for anyone with back problems.
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
I came here once so far to see a concert . I really enjoyed the space. The is NO parking around the stadium - since it is residential. I had to pay for parking garage on Austin Street .Wear good comfortable shoes .

Yelp
First time here at Forest Hills Stadium. We had a nice dinner but took a while for the food to come so we came a little later to the concert. Friendly staff will point you to area of where seats were located. We went further in and tried to figure out where our seats were located. Concert goers came up to help us find our seats. Way cool. Definitely, lots of regulars here. Forest Hills Stadium is an amphitheater. We lucked out with the beautiful weather. Concerts are rain or shine. Will make sure to bring poncho/umbrella. The acoustics here was great. Had hard time taking photos on cell phone for we were at a distance and it was getting dark. The performer was delayed so we did not miss anything and we all had a great time. The bathrooms are unisex and staff directing patrons where to go. Bathrooms are clean and see staff cleaning them too. Will be back again in September for another concert. Will check out the food vendors next time around. Feels like you at the park as you pass by the tennis courts towards the stadium. Forest Hills Stadium is like a diamond in the rough. I have shopped on both Continental Avenue and Austin Avenue. Had no idea Forest Hills Stadium is near LIRR Forest Hills Station.

Yelp
The venue has a great vibe but the audience in my section (202 for the Avett Brothers) was noisy and disrespectful. What's worse, someone selling beverages for the venue was shouting for attention during a quiet song. That's unforgivable. Read the room! It took me almost 2 hours each way to get there from my home in Brooklyn so don't know I would make that effort for anyone else.

Yelp
This place was horrendous to enter. Doors opened at 6:30. Show started at 7:30. What time did we get in? 8:45. It was so incredibly disorganized. We went for a Bill Burr comedy show and we had to use yondr pouches. I've been to comedy shows so I understand why. But this place was individually putting phones in the pouches once you enter. No wonder the line was so slow to move. We are all grown adults and know how to put phones in pouches. That was the biggest bottle neck and what should of been maybe max 30 min waiting in line turned to hours. They should of just handed out pouches and kept scanning people in like how other places do it. Never coming back to this venue.

Yelp
I will die on this hill. If you buy GA tix that give you access to floor/bowl, but a bunch of other GA ticket holders show up before you (even though you arrive one hour after doors) so the floor tix get depleted...and you stand by the exit and someone gives you their GA floor band as they're leaving...THIS IS NOT A CRIME (or sketchy in any way)!! I paid the same price as this person, they saw the band they wanted to see and were leaving, planning to throw the wristband in the trash, were happy to give it to me as they left, but like 7 security surrounded me and claimed that it's literally ILLEGAL and threatened to kick me out. Insane, fix your security (except Sonya, she's the best)!

Yelp
Attended EEEEEATSCON today and it was epic! This was my first time at this stadium so I'm reviewing the overall event. I had such a great time that I'll be in attendance for any future food festivals. The food vendors change each year so the experience is always different. The event itself was very well organized, friendly staff, easy to navigate around the stadium, and the stadium had plenty of restrooms. Tickets were $30 dollars for entrance into the event and you had to pay for food & beverages which is typical of a food festival. It was worth it. There were about 25 food vendors & a variety of drink & dessert options. The lines were pretty long but moved quickly especially for the more popular vendors. All vendors took cash & credit. Apple pay was the preferable payment option but all others were welcomed. I'm stuffed! And tipsy... I ate & drank way too much and would do it all over again because I was impressed with everything I got my hands on. I'm not sure if there's different sponsors every year or the same one but American Express was this years sponsor and had some complimentary perks for being a card member. Thanks amex! Eeeeeatscon was a great way to spend a Saturday. It made for a great weekend! Already looking forward to next year...

Yelp
One of my favorite venues around! Great alternative and pop bands offered. Outdoors. Option of stadium seating or general admission. GA has partial shade and fake grass, which makes it easy to sit on. Couple blocks away from the LIRR station. Wide age range in the audience. Early start time (5pm-10pm) so you don't get home super late. Cheap tickets available on StubHub that are easily accepted there. Lots of food booths. Bathrooms right outside the stage area, with real sinks! I wish there were more water fountains. Also, security throws out all your food. I did get mine through by telling them about my dietary restrictions, but I can't imagine they make that exception frequently.

Yelp
I emailed the venue regarding my issue. It was promptly received and addressed. The customer service was excellent. They understood my concern and explained why they thought the issue occurred, stating that it shouldn't have happened. They offered to refund the cost of the bag check ($5) but could only do it if I paid by credit card, which I did not. They also offered me VIP lounge passes for a future show. With the 2019 season ending, they had no problem holding the lasses for a future 2020 show. They reiterated how important customer feedback and satisfaction is. This matches the feeling I got from the rest of my experience there. It's nice to know that if you have an issue here, there is someone who will promptly receive and address your request and make it right. Thank you!

Yelp
This may be the worst concert management I have witnessed in my life. Purposely funneled everyone into a tiny area and then reacted with anger/violence when that area became crowded 10/14/2023. Fix your crowd control. Unless you want another Hillsborough.

Yelp
We came to Forest Hills Stadium for Eeeeeatscon NY. The three of a U.S. had a great time. Only con were the long lines. The food overall was great. And, the bathroom setup was really good for a food festival. Attendees lucked out with low 60s weather today. I would come back to this area for a concert in the future.

Yelp
The best concert venue in NYC hands down. I can't believe anyone can find fault with this place. The acoustics are great (you could buy the cheapest tickets and still hear everything), it is intimate while allowing a huge crowd and you never feel suffocated by the crowd because it's a huge stadium where you can find clean restrooms without waiting on a long line. Food and drink options are not cheap but they're plentiful. It's also a landmark (100 years old), constructed when promoters were less greedy and the pretentious "VIP" price gouging mindset hadn't existed yet. As a result all the seats are equal in terms of sight lines and acoustics. Barclays, in contrast, was created to give vertigo to anyone sitting in the cheaper seats. I have seen a dozen concerts here and each time I had a great experience. Go Queens!

Yelp
I really enjoyed seeing Juthro Tull here. You can see from wherever you are sitting, and the open-air venue is fun. I wasn't crazy about the bleacher seating but I rented the chair backs for my husband and myself because we're old & falling apart. It's a pricey stadium, but what stadium isn't these days? Our seats were 89.50 but we had a fantastic view and the sound was great. I like being outside because it's less damaging to one's ears. The stairs might be rough for some people, so plan accordingly. If you have any mobility issues you have to be on the ground floor. The grounds are nice. Get there early (they open at 5:30 for a 7 PM concert) and enjoy a drink or some food before heading upstairs. My husband had the rice balls and said they were good, I had an empanada and it was decent. The bathrooms were clean and gender-neutral, with full doors on them. I had to laugh at the number of old hippies still toking up. Weed was everywhere! I'm in my 50s and I think I was one of the youngest people there, haha. The guy behind me was telling some friends that his is legal because he has a medical card. Easy to get to by LIRR and the subway (don't drive, there's NO parking anywhere) and all in all a great place for a September concert (as long as it doesn't rain). Empanadas - 5; rice balls - 3 for 7, seat rentals 12 or 2 for 20, t-shirts - 40. Contact high from the people around you? Priceless.

Yelp
I've been to a lot of concerts and events, and this venue was by far the best experience I've ever had. The bathrooms impressed me the most because they had an attendant replacing the toilet paper and cleaning throughout the entire concert we went to. I've never seen that before. The food and drink options were very generous, and we never had to wait in line for a crazy amount of time. My only complaint is the prices of everything and how strict the staff was with what items were allowed in. The drinks were insanely expensive, but they usually are at a venue like this. Other than that, I had a very pleasant experience here. The staff were all very friendly too.

Yelp
Nice venue , good acoustics . I enjoyed the the food that they had (as far as event food goes) . Queens of the Stone Age could have picked a better set list , but that's a whole different story

Yelp
Today is May 20 2023 at 5:40. I live on Burns Street. The music is so loud the apartment is shaking and I actually feel sick.

Yelp
Built in 1923 and the original site of the US Tennis open, this is now a 13,000 seat outdoor concert venue. Lots of on site food and drink options with outstanding acoustics and many, many porta potties. My only complaint would be the bench type style seating for the majority of the "cheap" seats. Not very good for the back.

Yelp
I love this place! I came here for Sheryl Crow and Robert Plant, and I had an amazing time. There are so many good food options. The stadium is very spacious. There isn't a bad seat in the house - the stadium is so quaint that you could sit anywhere and have a great view of the stage. The sound was incredible and the security and staff were friendly and helpful. This was a great place to see a show! I'll be back here for more shows in the future!

Yelp
No street parking. And local parking enforcement targeted cars from out of state. NO SIGNAGE SAYING YOU COULDNT PARK THERE. $180+ later.... Loved Leon Bridges but it's not worth it

Yelp
It was our first time at Forest Hills Stadium, we love it! We traveled from NJ. Found a spot five blocks away in the beautiful residential area (maybe because we arrived early). The staff is so friendly and very helpful. Plenty of restrooms. A huge selections of food and drinks, expensive but delicious. The sound was great. Rex was amazing. Definitely would come back. Only advice is get the merch early. Only had two booths, the lines were very long. They sold out of things by the end of the night.

Yelp
Get here early! My favorite part about this venue is that the concession area looks like a State Fair. Seriously, all they needed was the Strong Man bell thingy and cotton candy. Heck, they might of had cotton candy. It's a small stadium with very steep seating so I presume the views are great from the nosebleeds. I wouldn't know because my criminal ass grifted my way in to GA. I'm not telling you how because they'll fix the whole process and ruin it for us miscreants. My first show here was Interpol. I only knew one song, but they were free tickets so what the hell. I enjoyed myself. Especially that one song I knew. I was going to mention that the stage lighting was funky, but that was just for the opening acts. Opening acts get no lighting love. The sound was pretty good. I was dead center so it was balanced as an of course. GA is as flat as a pancake so if you're below 5'5" you're screwed. Get to the front however you can. There were all these freakishly tall guys at the Interpol show so my 5'9" self was doing a whole lot of neck craning. But I still got great video of that one song I knew, so I'm happy. And wear good shoes. The hard packed earth was hell on my feet. My left one completely fell asleep but that was probably because of my slipped disk. I'm old and falling apart. You'll be better off than me. Since it's smack in the middle of Forest Hills Gardens, shows here end EXACTLY at 10. If your act doesn't start their encore before 10-to-10, you're screwed. Egress is smooth, if slow. It's a hike back to the Subway/LIRR with a ton of people so don't be in a rush. If you're broken like me, your foot is still asleep anyway. The Gardens are maze like but they have lots of cops directing the flow. You won't get lost. I'd gladly come back to see a show here next summer. Next time, maybe I'll even sit in my ticketed seat.

Yelp
It was my first time going to a concert at this venue. I went with my teenage son to see Weezer. I got there early so there was no line and the security was quick. So far, everything was going well. Food and beverages are overpriced. Bathrooms are ok. There was a nice beautiful breeze for a bright summer day! At this point I loved this venue. Weezer's concert was going amazing... until 2 couples in front of me started smoking weed. So sad, There's no enforcement for the no smoke policy. No respect for kids. This is out of control. Very disappointed ):
