If you're looking for a perfect mix of comfort and scenery, stay here. The facilities at Forest Sunset are top-notch—very modern and clean. The staff are so kind and genuinely care about your experience. Great place the escape the chaos of the city. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Stayed around the corner at Green Mountain Homestay and tried a few places nearby, this was our favourite so we ate here twice. The guy running the place was so lovely, the food was great and the setting was fantastic. Between our group we had banh mi with both the pork and beef - both tasty. The side of chips were a good compliment and tasty so we got a full bowl at dinner along with a chicken pizza (I personally loved the soft bread crust, and enjoyed it with a bit of added salt but wouldn't call it particularly Italian) and Tofu noodle salad - highly recommend the salad. The coconut coffee was also the best one I've had so far in Vietnam. You should eat here for sure if you're in the area.

We were greeted when not even off our bikes! The owner was so attentive and accommodating. The location was magical. Our pizzas were delish!

Such beautiful scenery and surroundings. Very kind people working here and brilliant coffee and smoothies! They have a pool that you are able to use, with shower facilities, toilets and a pool table. Loads of seating options and the ones by the water and Lilly pads are lovely. Definitely recommend :)

Forest Sunset Bar & Restaurant is a peaceful escape tucked away in the countryside of Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Surrounded by rice fields, mountains, and a tranquil lake, the views alone are worth the visit. The venue offers outdoor seating—no AC, but fans keep the air moving and the vibe breezy. What makes this place truly special is the owner, Thai. His kindness and joyful energy make you feel instantly at home, like a friend rather than just a customer. You can feel how happy he is to welcome you. The food is authentic and delicious. I highly recommend the egg coffee and the passion fruit smoothie—both were packed with flavor and really refreshing. There’s even a swimming pool on-site, and trust me, with the heat of the day, you’ll be tempted to jump right in! If you’re exploring the area by bike, this is the perfect stop to relax, recharge, and soak in the peaceful beauty of rural Vietnam. Five stars without hesitation.

We stayed next door at the owner's brothers hotel. So it was so convenient because we arrived quite late. We had a lovely seat overlooking some water with a lovely view which then had fairy lights once it got dark. The food was super tasty too as were the drinks and all was a good price. The garden setting is so nice and chill. I highly recommend having dinner here one evening. The staff and owner are all so welcoming and friendly. If we returned we'd definitely go back.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the food, scenery, staff and generous drinks! We was so happy with our visit. Happy there and happy when we left! The toilets are clean, the cutlery, plates etc all clean! Just couldn’t ask for more! The music selection also very good! Keep it up guys you are running a very professional beautiful place

One of the best hostels and sweetest family! And besides that, I arrived at 3am and was greeted warmly with a hug.
