We arrived on a very wet morning, were allowed to store our baggage for free. Very nice staff. The breakfast was great, and free coffee at any time of the day. The beds were perfect, the only problem was a very small shower, but then this is all over Europe. Great view out of the window. For what we paid it was amazing. Would definitely come back.

Everything was perfect. The location was as it looked in the website. We were very pleased to be by the canal! The ladies at the front desk were very helpful in giving us tips and maps on where to eat, how to get the fairy and the train. They were amazing in how helpful they were. Very pleasant personalities. I would stay there again!

I stayed at the Foresteria back in April 2024, during the Preview days of the Venice Biennale. I reserved the room just days before going there, so it was a last minute reservation and I was delighted to find a room with private bathroom here for as little as 277 euros for three nights. It was incredible as that is just impossible to find in central Venice, just a short walk away from the biennale locations and San Marco. Impossible to find during normal less touristy times (if there are really any in Venice anymore…), let alone during the busy preview days of the biennale. Unfortunately this year for the preview of the biennale of architecture I was so surprised to see that the price I paid last year for three night had now become the price for one night only. Now I keep on going back to look at prices and periods of time and I am really disappointed to say that I no longer might be able to book a room there as it’s just become incredibly expensive. I just checked for he preview days of the 2026 biennale and it’s a whopping 800 for three nights. How come even the Valdese have caught up with the capitalist call of gold these days? It’s unfortunate because the location is great, the palazzo is old but it’s clean and you have to get used to getting out of the room to go to the bathroom. The breakfast is a bit simple but acceptable, for what the price used to be. Now… it’s not a price that can be justified at all. Especially by a place run by a religious group. It’s really disappointing.

The property is a vintage one. They tried to make it like a hotel but it is a fancy bed and breakfast. There were no big bed as I requested, two small beds. Not very comfortable. The shower cubicle is very small.Just one bath towel for two person. Room was very difficult to access with a big luggage. Room floor was sloped. Not the most comfortable stay for the price! But yes the location and old villa charm is there. It is ok for a short stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The reception staff was very humble and welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. It's comfortable to live in for the price you pay.

The location is 10 min walk from Piazza San Marco or Rialto Bridge. Close to delicious places to grab a bite or dessert, like Zanzibar, Gelato di Natura among others. The room was clean and bathroom as well. The receptionist very polite. I'd only suggest a mirror on the room : ).

This was honestly a great place to stay while in Venice. Very clean and comfortable and the people who work there are very kind. I checked in late at night and they messaged me with detailed instructions on how to get inside. They also left me a map to get to my room as the place is quite large and it was very easy to follow. I had an amazing stay here and would love to visit again!

The hotel is in an excellent position within Venice, close to all the main attractions (St. Mark’s Basilica, Rialto Bridge, etc.). The building is unique as it is a listed building. There is no elevator, which can cause problems for those with mobility issues. Also, the breakfast had limited options and could be improved. The rooms could be decorated to highlight the listed building.
