We were here for a private event. It was a surprise. An epoch building of great charm.

Our room for five with private bathroom was ideal for exploring Venice. There is a charm to this accommodation that matched the location. Our view over a canal was lovely. Breakfast was satisfying and the staff were friendly. Housekeeping was good.

Our family room was excellent, with a bathroom and a terrace. The hostel is clean and convenient, easy to access from the most popular places within 10-15 minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly, made us feel special guests. We had no problem checking in or out. We left our backpacks in the storage room after the checkout time and got them later. You can ask for a hair dryer if necessary, which was important for us. As we came home on our last legs, I don't remember anything about the beds. My kids didn't complain, and neither did I. Breakfast suggests some yoghurt, fruit, pastry and cakes, cheese - just to grab something with your first cup of coffee in the morning, not enough for a full breakfast but sufficient for us Coffee is available 24/7. I'm not sure about the other drinks as we didn't try them. Overall impression is very good.

Amazing location. Interesting building. Very helpful staff. Super direct instructions, smooth check-in & check-out. I am amazed by the system inside. Warnings and instructions are all over the place: on every wall. There is breakfast and not a bad one, maybe they can add something salty. Tea, coffee, water and their machines are always available on 2nd floor. Very clean place and rooms. Was not too crowded or noisy. My bath was outside my room but did not bother me at all. My room was cold, did not see the heating or any AC. Had to get extra blanket from a cabined in the hall. There was only one thing bothered me a lot: the bed was not comfy because the floor was skewed! The building is old but the skewness angle is big, meaning that your bed is not straight :) They should make the floor even.

This is a great place for music groups. Our choir could use the Salone Busetto in the Foresteria - with a concert grand piano - for rehearsals and for a small concert. The staff was extemely helpful and sweet, and even advertised our concert with posters and in their newsletter. We had a wonderful time in the historic, quite comfortable Palazzo, situated beautifully in the old city of Venice. Thank you so much, Lucia, Laura and Alberto!

Close to just about everything within 30 minutes walk, the hostel has a great history. The staff are tremendous, the place is spotless, and on Wednesday evenings, there is an amazing array of classical music.

We had a night's stay in the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was authentic and clean. We had an amazing experience here.
