What sets this place apart is their dedication to quality over quantity—every cheese and wine selection is carefully curated for an exceptional tasting experience. Our server, an outstanding sommelier, took the time to listen to our preferences and recommended the perfect bottle of wine to accompany our cheeses. We also entrusted her with selecting the cheeses, and she crafted a beautiful balance—some choices were within our comfort zone, while others expanded our palate in the best way. Each bite and sip felt intentional, showcasing the richness of Italian flavors and traditions. If you’re in Florence and appreciate fine cheese and wine, this spot is an absolute must-visit. I had an incredible experience at Formaggioteca Terroir! The cheese tasting and wine selection were outstanding, with perfectly curated pairings that showcased amazing flavors. Excellent place! They are very knowledgeable about wine and have super unusual cheese. I am gluten free to they also took time to check everything for me.

Amazing cheese and wine selection. We had a selection of 3 Italian cheeses; soft goat, pecorino and a blue. All were excellent, as was the wine.

This place is amazing. Met the owner great customer service! Wine is amazing and so is the cheese. Beautiful ambiance and great atmosphere. We are only here for 3 days but plan on coming here all 3 days.

wonderful selection of cheeses! the owner kindly helped us select a few hard cheeses to bring home—the sheep’s cheese with saffron and black pepper was incredible.

Just wonderful! We had a selection of 3 cheeses - fresh, medium, and old, plus a few glasses of wine. The staff were super friendly and recommended great wines. They were able to understand our request for a mineralic wine and a fruity wine. The vibe is very relaxed and the bathroom is clean and spacious. We had a lovely break there and would gladly come back.

Came in with a group of 6 of us and did the six cheeses from Italy and six cheeses from France. Big portions plenty to share. Love this place so much.
