"Simplicity and elegance are the ethos of Dunas de Formentera, a new hotel on the idyllic Balearic Island. The 44-room property by Marugal sits on Mijorn Beach, and will feature interiors by Antonio Obrador, the same interior designer behind the company’s award-winning Cap Rocat in Mallorca." - Elise Taylor

It's difficult to put this place into words. It's absolutely gorgeous. We were here in June. Perfect weather. Although the sea water was quite chilly, it's so salty the water feels like satin sheets. First time in Europe, and it won't be my last. Will absolutely come back to spend a week

Small island. You can see all the famous places in one day. ❤

If you are staying in Ibiza, really recommending Formentera, it’s 30-40€ for person to 2 ways with a ship. Incredible beautiful views, transparent water and really calm atmosphere!

Firmenteils has several beaches. No public transport. Whether you rent any bikes, motorcycles or car or take a taxi. Taxis are not very expensive and they have price chart. So u can check what suits u best.

A true paradise in the middle of the Mediterranean. When I visited the first time, 15 something years ago, it was the perfect vacation for informal, ecotourism, gay & lesbian friendly, no stuck ups, no dirty looks, I frequented nudist beaches with my son, mingling with quiet LGBT couples not in search of wild parties. Now it has become an Italian colony, Italians of the worst kind: arrogant, filthy rich to the point of making the island unaffordable for the average tourist from anywhere in Europe. It has completely lost that bohemian mood. The beaches, however, thanks to a wise local administration, are still intact and the sea is the best in the Med. Las Illetas is the most beautiful beach on the island. However, now you’ve got to pay for admission. Lucrative and unfair on the part of the local administration. Everything changes with time, in this case not for the better.

Formentera, little sister of Ibiza is one amazing island which I think must visit because of really beautiful of nature...I come here 10 years in row... You can come there in 30-45min by ferry or with your boat... From the port of Ibiza you can take one of four or five ferry company which do this trip... The price depend of part of year and fast of trip... When you on Formentera you can rent car, motorcycle or bycicle to go around island... With car and motor you must pay parking, for bycicle it's free... If you love to wait you can use bus who go around... You can choose which part of Formentera you prefer and go on that beach, but every is amazing... For me best part is ses illetes and ses puyol with it's caribian beaches and clear water... Every beach is free and on some you can rent bed and umbrellas... If you want to eat something there is so much high quality reataurants... All recommendations for visit if you are at Ibiza or you go direct to this island

A must visit when in Ibiza. Need to take a ferry with/ without your car and visit. It’s quite small. Nothing much to do besides the beautiful beaches and restaurants
