A historic landmark in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, standing as a reminder of the city’s railway heritage. Built in 1915 as part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus, the 44-meter red brick and granite tower is the only remaining part of the original station, which was demolished in 1978. I visited this site on 25 July 2025 during my Hong Kong trip and admired its elegant colonial architecture and significance as a declared monument. Located near Victoria Harbour and the Cultural Centre, it’s a popular spot for photos, especially at sunset, and a meaningful piece of Hong Kong’s history.
