As a traveler and amateur foodie, Forno Cultura lights everything I love about food. A trip to Toronto is not complete without at least a stop or two here. This is a local gem. The food - pastries - sandwiches - lattes are as fresh as it gets. And you get to see these artisans working their craft. An absolute must enjoy and the people watching is second-to-none.

I am a regular at their first Canadian place branch and really like their lunch sandwiches. Great vegetarian options and fresh ingredients. I visited this one on king to try their breakfast sandwich early morning. The vibe is great and the place is really nice to start the day with a quiet coffee and sandwich while the chefs are doing their magic right in front of you. It’s a great experience watching them work. I was not bowled over by my choice of sandwich but the cortado was nice and I picked a loaf of bread on my way out. Always a nice experience eating here.

Google
Great hidden gem. Located on the lower level. Good selection of sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and bread. Nice place to grab a coffee. Limited seating, can overlook the kitchen where they are making fresh bread. A small bottle shop and a few other food items for sale (pasta, sauce).

Google
Great bakery with super Friendly staff. Lots of options to choose from Cookies loafs and sandwiches. Lots of other Italian things to buy. Loved it here. Tried pistachio cookie and Lemon Torta delicious.

Been here a bunch of times - every time it hits. The pastries are so unique and flavourful. My favourite is the chocolate poppyseed croissant (I think that's the one!). The staff is friendly, plus there's usually some free samples. Would highly recommend for unique semi-Italian pastries! If I lived close it would definitely be dangerous in multiple regards.

I tried the famous prosciutto sandwich. It is very tasty, but I found biting through the bread was challenging. Don't get me wrong, the bread is delicious, It's just very crisp so it's tough to bite through. This sandwich could use a little something though because the lettuce just doesn't quite cut it- especially for the price. I'm thinking pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, and a drizzle of some really good basil olive oil and fig balsamic to really take it to the next level. The service is excellent- very polite. I was happy to try this place but maybe I should open my own?! 😉

Google
Preface: love the queen location always treated like family Story: We asked if this bread could be discounted due to it being very visibly burnt. We were told by the woman working that it was actually colouring due to olive oil? I didn’t think this sounded right but always happy to be proven wrong! I wasn’t :) most expensive piece of kindling I’ve ever bought.

Google
I tried their affogato and it was amazing. I also had cortado which was great too. I visited the place to try their focaccia bread, but they were sold out. So make sure to visit the place sooner may be around afternoon because I went around 4 and they sold out. I also tried their cookies and they were pretty good but a bit pricey.

Yelp
We ended up eating here two days on a quick trip to Toronto! Everything was delicious but their version of the chocolate croissant with poppyseeds on it was to die for. The breakfast sandwich had amazing bread as well. Mocha and Cortado were great, but the fresh juices are unique and awesome. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
I stopped by around closing time, but the cashier was still very friendly and didn't rush me. I got the appolini sfogliatella which is my favorite. Even though it was the end of the day, it was still fresh, crunchy and delicious. There's a small standing area if you want to dine in or additional seating on the patio outside. The location is convenient. I highly recommend for the high quality sandwiches and pastries.

Yelp
Use to be much better back in the day. I feel like service went completely downhill. Food quality also went down hill.

Yelp
Wanted a pastry item and heard good things about this place. It is in the lower level of the building and its a very small place. They have a thin table in the middle and it can seat quite a few people. I wanted something for breakfast and was recommended the cornetto frittata (spanish omlette with potato, aioli, and rosemary). This was delicious warmed up! The pastry was so flaky and the omelette was so flavourful. I was pleasantly surprised. We also got the polenta bar and it was alright. Will definitely come back to try the other items.

Yelp
Found this little gem inside of Union Station! Forna Cultura sells a bunch of various pastries, biscotti, drinks, and sandwiches. I was personally here to check out their focaccia sandwiches. They have new options each day, some on focaccia and some on different types of bread like ciabatta. I ended up going with the Funghi Schiacciata. I am obsessed with their focaccia, which is herby and delicious. It can be a tad oily as focaccia is. Do be aware that if you are grabbing a sandwich a little later in the day, the bread can get a little stale (since it's been sitting out), but a quick toast at home quickly revives it!

Beth K.

Yelp
I think it's the best bread I ever ate. Had the funghi sandwich, it was sooooooo satisfying. I also got two pastries which were very nice but I don't remember which. Subtle not too sweet, perfect. They need to have a better coffee program tho- the espresso tasted burnt. And it was quite charming to pull up a stool and watch the bakers while eating the fruits of their labor.

Yelp
We met up with a cousin who wanted to grab coffee at Forno Cultura. They're an Italian cafe with two other locations in town. You'll find this one next door to a WVRST. We dropped in on a Thursday morning (around 10:00am). They have a mix of items; bread, pre-made paninis, pizza, pastries, soft serve gelato and drinks. A large selection of wines too. - Latte ($4.75) - B subbed for oat milk ($0.75 extra). Decent. - Torta caprese ($6.00) - they charge by the weight ($60.00/kg). This was one of the few gluten free pastries. A little denser in texture but not sweet. The bottom half of the loaf was light and lemony. Decent stuff at FC but not a fan when places don't show prices in their display cases.

Yelp
Jeeeze - o. - peezo... Astonishing delicious pastries. The orange liquor creamy thing , chocolate poppyseed thing, pepperoni pizza and egg sandwich things just superlative. Stuffed my fat face and am going back tomorrow!! So cool they have a display window where you can watch the pastry chefs.

Yelp
As you walk down King Street, you can smell fresher baked goods wafting in the air. Step inside down a set of stairs an explore the magic inside. They offer pastries, loaves of bread, cookies, flatbreads and more. I tried the Bianca funghi taglio. It was very unique with a hint of lemon, unlike any I've ever had. Also tried the Italian almond cookies, torta libra, and cold brew. All were devoured immediately and not to call my heffer self out, but I ordered a Baci (hazelnut and chocolate) to go. What a great hipster bakery! There are a few locations in Toronto so I will definitely be back to try more soon.

Ri T.

Yelp
Used to be a very good bakery but during the pandemic many of the baked goods disappeared and are no longer available. The ones on the menu don't taste the same anymore and I don't buy them. They have good bread ,but you have to get there early. No cash option is available which is very annoying. It's hard to find parking near King location and traffic is always horrible. Sales people at King location are very rude.
google avatar

Yelp
Forno Cultura has become one of my staples for brunch and pastries. The sandwiches featured here are the melenzana (eggplant) and porchetta. The ingredients used are clearly high quality and they pack these sandwiches with them. The bread never fails to impress and the combination of ingredients are perfected. They will also toast up the melenzana (or any similar sandwich) for a nice crusty yet soft bite. Get the porchetta if you're looking for a very filling meal. Don't skip on the dessert either - I highly recommend the bread pudding! Their outdoor seating is perfect with this gorgeous spring weather, though there's a high table in the middle of the store for indoor seating as well.

Yelp
One of THE BEST pastries I ever had. If you're looking for a French pastry shop, this is it! I ordered: Lemon Pistachio cookie Raisin cookie Biscotti with chocolate chips Almond cookie The cookies were all amazing but the lemon pistachio was absolutely delicious ! The raisin one was also one of my favourites. The pastries were quite affordable (you purchase by weight). Next time I go I definite want to try a loaf of bread. Their baguettes are freshly made and they have other French goodies that you can purchase in store as well. I believe I saw some fresh jam, pasta items, sauces, seasonings. If you haven't gone already, you're missing out
google avatar

Yelp
Hidden bakery underneath WVRST is THE best bakery in downtown Toronto. They have a huge selection of artisanal breads and heavenly treats. Other lunch worthy things too like sandwiches and pickled jars fit for COVID times. If I could eat here everyday, I would!! Watch out for the weird steps though when entering. Pro tip: buy 6 treats, pay no tax. Now that's something sweet!
google avatar

DEBORAH T.

Yelp
Best pastries and focaccia ever. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Me and my bf came here 3 in a row to try the treats they have here. So wish the had this place in the U.S. but next time in Toronto its a must have !
google avatar

Yelp
Yes! Having grown up in NY in an Italian household, there was no shortage of pastry (or legends about pastry once had). So being a snob about Italian pastry I thought I'd try this place after passing it one day. Their focaccia is AMAZING! Whether it be one of their round loafs or sandwiches, it's delicious. I tried the mortadella sandwich and it was the closest to my love of mortadella which started when I traveled around Umbria (it was better in Umbria, but this was darn good!). My lady had the eggplant sandwich which was delicious as well. For sweets, we tried assorted cookies, a rum baba, and sfogliatelle. The rum baba was phenomenal, soaked perfectly and flavored well. The sfogliatelle was so flakes and the ricotta filling was delicate and fresh - they definitely know how to bake. Note: if you like desserts very sweet, this will not do it for you. All of the desserts we had were flavored well without over sugaring. PS. Had the cannoli, it was okay. They weren't trying to make a traditional Sicilian cannoli, so there's that. We will definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very friendly service with high quality ltalian pastries. I tried the Pesche and the Olive Oil Chocolate, both of which I would recommend. The Pesche is a sugar dusted donut filled with fresh fruity ricotta cream. Prices are a bit high for the size of the treats, but sometimes good things don't need to come in excess.

Yelp
Service 5/5 Amazing service with the friendliest staff members. They seem to actually enjoy the jobs here. When I ordered I felt very welcomed. They also had a lot of patience for me even though the store was busy. My sandwiches were heated up for me without me having to ask which is a plus! Food 4/5 The pizza and sandwich were all fresh and delightful! They were packed full of Italian flavors. You would be surprised because how can food sitting out in display glass taste so good after a while. The sub was the only issue. It was very hard to eat because the bread was very hard and chewy. The rooftop of my mouth started hurting because the bread was so tough. Other than that, my experience here was very good!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
We were a bit disappointed with this bakery. The layout, the smell of the bread and baked goods, the friendliness of the staff were all great...but the food did not deliver for us. I had the mortadella sandwich and it was just ok. Too much oil in the greens and the meat was not very flavorful. My friend Kevin got the tuscan chicken sandwich and the bread was hard and kind of tough..our two desserts were also just ok. Not a place I would go back anytime soon. The variety of their breads, though is amazing...and they are really good if just want a loaf of a specialty bread..

Yelp
Food is amazing and I love their wine! Great service, price is . The place is cozy & quiet when I went but overall, I was very satisfied. I drove from NYC on my way to my dinner reservation. I was like 3 hours early so I walked to explore the area when I stumbled on this place. I'd be back for sure!

Yelp
Good bakery/cafe. They have a few locations around the city. I have yet to try their pastries and such, but the pistachio cookie is amazing! I also really enjoyed their Americano. It's a nice pick me up for the afternoon. Cookie + Americano comes to $5.90!
google avatar

Pamela R.

Yelp
Love this bakery as they always have unique pastries. The customer service was amazing this time! We were taken care of by an older hip gentleman who gave us great advice. We got the lemon almond cake but it was definitely too lemony for me but my lemon lover friend loved it!!

Yelp
TIME: Wednesday @10am. I love the layout of this Italian bakery! Walking down and into this tiny place, you have the counter of goods on one side, and the kitchen on the other. That's where you can see a few deli chefs prepare the sandwiches! Running down the middle are long narrow counters to sit and enjoy your pastries and drinks. It was hard to decide with all the lovely selections. I went with these: APPOLINNI - $5 CAD Sfoglia Pastry. Crema. This pastry was delicate and had many layers of crispy dough. Filled inside was a nice custard that I wished was filled all the way at the end. I thought the powdered sugar was a nice touch--though it made me wish I didn't wear black that day. CORNETTO CIOCCOLATO - $3 CAD Sfoglia. Chocolate Almond. Honestly it tasted more like hazelnuts, but sure. I originally wanted the apricot but they gave me this by mistake--I need to learn to point better. This is the type of pastry where the first bite is meh, then another bite it tastes better, and by the last bite it tastes so good! Plenty of chocolate between the pastry and I enjoyed it! Would have been nice if it was warm. TEA - $3 CAD Just wanted tea to go with my pastries. It was nice of them to refill my cup of hot water before I left. I liked a lot a things about this place. The staff was quite friendly and informative. Cool place.
google avatar

Ernest T.

Yelp
Amazing pastries, bread and sandwiches (coffee is meh, to be honest). They have a wide range of products in their store including coffee beans, pasta, breads and focaccias and pastries. Their breads are the best I've ever had and my personal favourite is the Bitter Cacao Sourdough Bread they have that is infused with chocolate and generously topped with poppy seeds. I've tried pretty much all their sandwiches and they are all delicious and well worth the $, especially the Porchetta Sandwich. If you are looking to get this bread, pay Forno Cultura a visit and you definitely won't be dissapointed.

Yelp
I've always loved bakeries but this bakery is just on another level! I just happened to ran into (I suppose) the owner, and he is hands down the friendliest person ever. He explained to me where I should start my browsing... from the glass where everyone is busy baking inside, to the loaves section, to the pastry section, the sandwich section, the dessert section. Oh my goodness! My short 5 minute stay literally does this place zero justice. Next time I'm taking his advice to browse section by section. Ended up getting seeded loaves and an almond citrus cake that looks just like a huge cookie! Owner suggested coming next time around for brunch on a weekend! Most definitely! What a bustling and lively place, where else would I want to go to try for the next weekend brunch other than here!
google avatar

Edik B.

Yelp
Indulge. This place is a factory of cool. Nice music, great pastries with a twist of anything you like and friendly staff. The coffee is not the greatest but bakery fully compensate for it.
google avatar

Cybil M.

Yelp
While I've been happy with literally everything I have to foam at the mouth about the amaretti bianchi. They're literally the best almond cookies I have ever eaten. Truly pushed into the mad bittersweet realm, almost overpowering bitter almond in a meltingly flaky-crunchy biscuit. I mean it's all good but I'd willingly schlep across the city for those little almond miracles.

Yelp
Last night I was thinking about this wonderful little gem in Toronto. I live in North Carolina, USA. A few years ago I was in Toronto for over a week and my kids introduced me to the best bakery ever. Last night I was searching thru recipes on google trying to see if I can imitate their Cantucci Mosaico. We tried a ton of stuff from this bakery but that was my favorite. No one lives there now so I haven't been back. I still think about it fondly. If anyone is in there and wants to tell me what is in those Cantucci Mosaico......well, it would make my day that's for sure!

Dominic B.

Yelp
Usually the service and food is excellent at all the F Cultura. Over the years I have gotten know lot of the staff at various locations and they all have been really wonderful. But I had a rather disturbing experience with a barista at the MOCA location on Sunday, May 22nd around 1 pm. I ordered two cafes and requested them to be" for here". I simply assumed "for here " implies the cafes would be served in non paper cups. The barista just started to make them in paper cups so I very politely asked again we would like the drinks " for here ". The barista confirmed "Okay" but continued to make them in the paper cups. So I asked him doesn't " for here" imply it would be in glass or ceramic ? Actually its not a big deal really to get paper cups and I totally stand corrected if " for here" doesn't mean not in paper cups ... No problem really. But what was disturbing was his very aggressive response : " NO ! FOR HERE DOES NOT MEAN NOT IN A PAPER CUPS. IF you don't want the cafes you don't have to take it ! " was his response. I didn't want to make a big deal in front of my wife and friend so I just apologized and took the cafes. My question is am I wrong in any way? Did we need to be treated in such a humiliating way in front of other customers and friends we were entertaining at the gallery ? Risking sounding bit paranoids, I was the only other person of colour ordering food. The way the barista treated the other customers were differential to us. I like to give people a bit of slack especially if they are new to Toronto and not acclimatized to our multicultural and relatively inclusive culture ... can't help but be taken back by the sort of behavior especially in such a progressive environment as MOCA. Hopefully this person will learn and adapt. I notice the management never bother to response to the views here so do not expect it anytime soon.

Yelp
Had the olive and chocolate cake. As someone who despises both olives and chocolate, I still really enjoyed this cake based on how moist the olive oil was. Can't wait to come back and try the rest.
google avatar

Yelp
like I want to live next door so I can get a treat every day. the TAAAARTS! the chocolate tart has a crust, some sort of frangipane merged w/ chocolate flat muffin top and toasted hazelnut surprises. if you find a fresh pizza square, get iiiiiit. the granola has a hint of florally orange and I eat it like cookies. the cheesecake is not too sweet, slim, thin and I categorize it more adultish. it's great. I love this place.
google avatar

Shawn W.

Yelp
Sandwiches were delicious! Pro tip: get there earlier at lunch time to beat the lunch rush and have your pick at all options. This was our first time there and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back to try more of their delicious sandwiches.

Ahmed S.

Yelp
There are a lot of spots for coffee on king street. This place beats all due to the excellent customer service and perfect cappuccinos. This is way better than Jimmy's and strange love. The pastries here are way too good. Highly recommended
google avatar

Gloria M.

Yelp
We are in the middle of a pandemic and for some reason the staff here refuse to wear a mask. We have given it a chance multiple times and every time had to walk out, disappointed. The first time the gentleman behind the cash bar enlightened me (!) that in the province masks are not mandatory for staff, unless they prepare food... and I'm thinking he's standing on top of the sandwich I'm looking to order, and any droplets out of his mouth is landing on that sandwich! The second time the baker lady was baking without any mask on. The third time again a baker's face wasn't covered... same for a cash staff... I can't believe how irresponsible a local business can be towards the health and safety of their staff, their customers and humankind!

Yelp
After I booked my condo, I discovered that this lovely little bakery was down the block. So delicious! I stopped by several mornings in a row for a cuppa and some pastry. Everything I had was delicious and the staff was very helpful and patient. It was fun to have the glass wall to watch other bread/pastry magic happen. Friends had coffee and juice the morning they stopped in with me and were happy with both. Wish I had made it back for lunch. Definitely worth a tip to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Happened upon Forno Cultura while walking King St, and felt as though I'd stepped off of the streets of Toronto and into a Parisian café! The smell of fresh baked bread and coffee filled the air as I entered. Needless to say I was in heaven! The small café was packed, but we were able to secure two seats along the glass windows where you could view the bakers making bread! The line was long, but it moved fast. We order the sfogliatella (also known by lobster tail in America), an almond and pistachio cookie, and two americanos. The sfogliatella was the most delicious, buttery, custardy, slightly lemony pastry I'd ever had! Each fold had so much cheese spewing out of it. I literally contemplated ordering another one right after finishing it. Both the almond and pistachio cookies were delectable as well. Both nutty, chewy, and full of flavor! The americanos were smooth and made a perfect partner to the sweets. I wish we had a place like this in Chicago!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Such a cute bakery!! We had the porchetta with the black sesame buns and it was really good (and spicy!) I am not so familiar with pastries but I'm sure that the more I visit here, the more I will learn :) We enjoyed watching the staff make more pastries and the little projection of The Simpsons on their wall made the bakery stand out from all of the other artisanal bakeries in the city.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. They have talented people working here and their food is mostly fantastic. I'll start with the main reason why I won't be a regular customer. They had a big group come in after we got our food and we were seated. That's not unusual, and I didn't need looking after since you pay for your food at the counter and I was set. They kept letting people in so it wasn't as if it was a private function and we were intruding, there were other customers around. I just wanted to enjoy my time with my friend while sharing good food and conversation. But they kept slowly pushing us further and further into the corner until it was uncomfortable and it was made clear that we were second class customers who didn't matter. They made us feel like dirt. If you wanted to focus on one group alone, then close the place down for a private function instead of alienating your other customers. The food itself was good: the rapini pizza and the mortadella panini were great after they heated them up. So was the olive cake. Everything was a bit on the greasier side but I was willing to overlook it until we were treated the way we were. I'll keep looking for a better experience.

Yelp
This bakery is quite a great stop for anyone who loves a wonderful made snack that is more focused on good flavour. The service here is so pleasant and both cookies we tried were really good. We wanted to try more but we had to run quickly to dinner but more than happy to come back here! Just down a little bit of stairs, you'll walk into a room and see the whole bakery and counter where it houses all the great treats. There are other good things being sold here.. pickled vegetables, oils, lots of rustic bread, and espresso based drink too. The person behind the counter was ready to give tips on which was more popular or which baked good would probably satisfy my particular sweet tooth. The bakery is not made for lounging around for any long time ... there's only a few seats in the middle and a few around the ledges. We ended up grabbing a cannoli and a pistachio lemon amaretti. We've been in love with cannoli since trying a really good one at L'unita. Since then we've been trying to chase the best one. Forno Cultura is a good one... super flakey and beautifully crisp pastry. The filling is light and whipped with a light citrus note. What overshadowed the cannoli was the pistachoi amaretti. It was a perfect chewy bite that had a gorgeous nutty note with a citrus hint at the end. Honestly... perfect. Overall, a great bakery with some amazing items to buy.. i'll definitely be coming back to try the other many treats which is numerous!

Yelp
Stopped in after dinner last night with my BF to get a sweet bite and we were totally blown away! Awesome food and service! We chose coffee each; a cortado and a macchiato. For treats, we selected the citrus flavoured shortbread stuffed with cream, coated in sugar in the shape of a peach (don't know the exact name lol) and a chocolate eclair stuffed with hazelnut - both were heavenly!! The owner (I believe it was him lol) also gave us two additional cookies to try, one was an almond flavoured skinny crunchy cookie (possibly called Bianca?) and a pistachio citrus cookie covered in powdered sugar - wow!! These were amazeballs too!! The staff were so friendly and super patient, this was one of the best food experiences we have had in the city! To top it all off, we were sent home with a complimentary loaf of sourdough bread, which contains bittersweet chocolate and poppy seeds. Turned it into killer French toast this morning for brunch - yummers!! Thanks so much for all of the awesomeness, we can't wait to return!

Yelp
Great place for some unique Italian inspired bread and desserts! Not your typical run-of-the-mill bakery with the usual suspects, they have a great variety of goodies you won't find anywhere else in this town. The only downside are the prices. Most of the baked goods are priced by weight, and it certainly adds up. Definitely not somewhere you can go everyday, but great for special occasions. Very stylish space and they have standing tables for a quick espresso.
google avatar

Elvis A.

Yelp
This place is downright amazing for baked goods. I was hesitant to share this spot but heck sharing is caring or Yelp is a gift that keeps on giving.... insert cliche' here. I had only tried their biscotti before hand and only recently got to try their cookies. In a word wow gluten free (if it matters to you), chewy with the right amount of sweetness. Pistachio flavor is so far my fav. I am eyeing their breads for my next venture and will update. They are open a bit later than many spots in the area so worth a detour for sure. 4.5 Stars!!!
google avatar

Arielle G.

Yelp
I discovered Forno upon moving to the area. It's just wow! To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Italian desserts so I've only really tried a select few or shared with my boyfriend, but the SANDWICHES *insert 3 heart eyed emoji faces here* are out of this world!!! They are simple but delicious and I highly recommend arriving right at lunch time so your options are endless! The pizza looks really yummy too but I have yet to try it. The staff are so super nice and always remove the cheese from the sandwiches I order before heating it because they ROCK!! Like I'm fully aware that's an annoying thing to ask but they do it with a smile every time. I can't wait to keep returning and to try some of their other things like espresso, pizza dough, and the olive oil cake sounds really yummy. I literally have to hold myself back on the daily from going in!!

Yelp
Lovely sandwiches. It was kind of torture watching the staff making lunch sandwiches which were not available for sale during the morning hours. I ordered the PLT (pancetta, lettuce and tomato), latte, and pastry. Everything was delicious. They had bread samples at the cash register and oh my gosh they are soooooo good. A little pricey ($25 for 2 sandwiches, latte and pastry) but I can taste the quality.

Yelp
From the moment you enter the door you can tell you are about to have a great experience at Forno Coltura. The smell of fresh bread is so incredible itll make you dough-drunk before you cross the doorway. The fresh baked creations are all nothing short of finger licking good. My girlfriend and I got a couple pastries and a couple different sandwiches of which all were just incredible. Personally, the chocolate bread Porchetta was an incredible twist for me. The use of actual dark chocolate in the dough was a twist I did not expect, let alone how well it went with the fresh Porchetta meat. One of my favorite spots to stop by for a breakfast bite whenever I'm in the city. Highly recommended!

Yelp
My partner loves their sandwiches. Fresh bread and pastries. Mediocre arancini, good local beer selection (They carry burdock and Tokyo craft beer), somewhere to blow money on conservas and olive oil.

Yelp
First heard of this bakery from my friend from Spain who was so excited to have "real" prosciutto on "real" bread (recommended by a French friend who was equally as nostalgic for real European sandwiches) and yes they were sooo correct! This place is as authentically European (Italian) as it gets in Canada (until Eately opens and yes that is happening soon I can't wait!!!)! They carve their prosciutto by themselves and of course all the bread and pastries are freshly baked (you can watch them work in the kitchen!).

Yelp
The smell of food... Good Food The moment I walked into the doors of Forno Cultura, I know I will like this place. As I watched the kitchen staff busy cooking, baking and craving that fresh from the oven porchetta, I know I will like this place. Rustic Artisan bread, Biscotti, Cookies all looked so tempting and delicious and I just feel like getting one each of everything?!. I know I will like this place. Hazelnut this Almond that, I am just glad I am not allergic to thing yet and I love carbs... Walking out with a big grin with my biscotti.... I love Forno Cultura! P.S. Or if you live in Vaughan, drop by and visit Aida's Pine Valley Bakery http://www.yelp.ca/biz/aidas-pine-valley-bakery-woodbridge#hrid:lVEiU7e5h7z2PJMGKgPWVA, you will be pleasantly surprised to find out how it runs in the family....

Yelp
I've been wanting to try the biscotti from Forno Cultura for a really long time now but just never got around to it. Luckily, our friends were having an afternoon gathering so this was the perfect opportunity to pick up a nice variety to sample! Walking down the steps, you notice the open kitchen behind a glass wall. It was amazing, everything was so clean! Pans of pizzas ready for the oven, risotto balls lined up on the counter, racks of freshly baked breads waiting to be purchased. Why did it take me so long to come here? This was the savoury side of things. On the opposite side, rows upon rows of biscotti and other sweets under a glass ledge... I wanted to try them all! Guess what? I did get to try some as I was deciding what to purchase! It's always great to get free samples when you're just not sure and it's your first time around. I really like the fact that you can pick up an assortment of deliciousness in different sized boxes. You purchase the little cookies by weight. If you can't make up your mind, let the people behind the counter choose for you. You can't go wrong! The sweet treats were a hit at the party and paired very nicely with teas and coffee. I'm definitely coming back to try the savoury offerings!

Yelp
I went there to grab some bread today in the morning. Their greetings and the service are really feel welcomed and the tastes of sandwich and breads were amazing too! Little salty for sandwich but perfect with coffee. Chocolate bread with sesame around one is must-try thing and Im going to get back for that. Breadpudiing has little strong flavour for me, but the taste, its good.
