⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Great Venue, But Getting There? Bring Snacks and Patience 🎤🚗🌀 Attended the Bad Bunny concert at GNP Seguros Stadium, and while I had an amazing time once I was inside, getting there was a whole other story. The venue itself is big, clean, and impressive, with great views and solid sound for a large stadium 👌🎶. But the traffic? Absolute chaos. It’s Mexico City, so of course traffic is expected—but give yourself at least 2–3 hours ahead of time, especially for big events. Getting in and out can feel like an event in itself. Also, be warned: there are a LOT of stairs, so if you have mobility concerns, it may not be the most accessible setup. I didn’t see many accommodations for handicapped access, which is something they could definitely improve. Like any concert, food and drinks are overpriced, but that’s par for the course 🎟️💸. Still, the energy, the crowd, and the show made it worth it in the end. Overall, it’s a great place to see a major artist, just be mentally (and physically) prepared for the logistics. Once you’re in, it’s a blast!

The GNP Seguros Stadium is a solid concert venue, but there are some very important things you need to know before going. Location & Walking Distance: The stadium is fairly close to the airport, but the surrounding area isn’t the best. Be ready to walk—a minimum of a mile and a half (if not more) just to get into the stadium, and the same distance again when leaving. After the concert, you’ll need to walk well past the stadium before even having a chance to find your Uber or pickup. It took us over 30 minutes to connect with our ride. Do not hop into random taxis offering rides; it’s not always safe. Disability Access & Communication: Before coming, I emailed the stadium to ask if they had disability seating available (for people with anxiety or other needs) and to clarify if General Admission included seating. No one ever responded to my email, and they still haven’t. That lack of communication is disappointing and something to be aware of if accessibility is important to you. General Admission vs. Seats: General Admission means standing only—no chairs at all. If you want a guaranteed seat, buy stadium seats. With GA, you can usually enter 4–5 hours before showtime if you arrive early enough. There’s a long walk to the gates, and along the way you’ll see unofficial merchandise vendors. Honestly, this is the best place to shop—prices are way cheaper and negotiable. I scored an Imagine Dragons hat and two shirts for me and my partner for 1,000 pesos (~$50 USD). Entry & Waiting: The stadium takes forever to let people in, so be prepared to wait in line for hours. If you’re among the first 300, you’ll get a stamp, but that means standing outside under the sun. Bring a hat, poncho, or something to cover yourself—umbrellas aren’t allowed. There are porta-potties outside, but that’s it. Inside the Stadium: Keep in mind this stadium is not covered—if it rains, you will get soaked. Vendors sell ponchos both outside and inside, but they’re cheaper outside. If you sit in the seats, someone may come wipe down your chair and then ask for a tip. Food prices are decent and not outrageous, and the food options in the seated areas are better than GA. Drinks are available, but not free—don’t make the mistake I did trying to tip a vendor to keep bringing water (LOL). Experience: The sound system is great, even from the back seats, and the vibe is amazing. There’s heavy security presence, so I felt safe throughout. The Imagine Dragons show we saw here was absolutely epic. Tips Recap: Expect to walk at least 1.5 miles in and out—wear comfortable shoes. GA = standing only; seats = guaranteed chair. Don’t count on the stadium answering emails (no response about disability seating). Arrive early if GA and bring sun protection. Buy merch outside for better prices. No umbrellas, food, or drinks allowed. Bring ponchos/towels in case of rain. Leaving is tough—plan for 30+ minutes to find your Uber. Overall, the concert was incredible, but the logistics (especially the walking, lack of communication, and the exit process) were rough. Still, if you know what to expect and prepare, you’ll have an unforgettable experience. The arena is huge and well-secured. With traffic, getting to the stadium can take some time, and you’ll likely need to do a bit of walking. Most seats are backless, except for the top sections, which have a wall you can lean on. I’d definitely recommend taking an Uber both to and from the venue, as leaving can be challenging, you’ll likely need to walk toward the Holiday Inn hotel to catch a ride. Overall, Shakira’s concert was worth it, and despite the large crowd, the overall experience was enjoyable.

I attended the Oasis show here on September 13th, 2025 and was in the General A section. I have no complaints at all about the experience. Be prepared to walk a while from the entrance gates to the actual stadium, but otherwise, getting in was easy. Getting out on foot was actually much quicker than I expected with the volume of people. Just make sure you hold on to your valuables - cell phones either in an under-the-clothes holder or in your front pocket with your hand on it. There were several folks who had their phones stolen, which is not uncommon since thieves lurk after the show. But anyway, taking some basic precautions, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again.

Best concert I ever attended was here at GNP. This venue was very organized and safe and offered a top notch event.

Went for the Bad Bunny concert, make sure you go with walking shoes as you will walk a dew km before getting in, and tons of patience because you will wait to get out of there after an event, keep you phone safe as there is an increased amount of theft during crowded events but the place is spectacular, top notch design.

Went to Blackpink's concert. The place was clean, the space was more than enough. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Only thing I didn't like, it took a complete one hour for us to get out of the parking lot.

We were lucky to get to see Oasis and Cage the Elephant on night one. They sure know how to host an event here! Lots of space, good food options, and drink options. Bathrooms were clean and tended to. But WOW was it awful leaving. Huge crowds. Pushing :( Some roads blocked off so traffic everywhere. Had to walk forever to get an uber. Took three times as long to get back to our hotel.
