This was probably our favourite meal in iceland and was (for iceland) very sharply priced. By Australian standards this would be fine. The bread with olive teppanade is so delicious you may want another. The seafood soup was bursting with flavour and had some nice seafood bites to it. The salmon entree had a lot of good textures i hadn't had with salmon before, and I loved how it wasnt overly salty or fishy. The edamame quaesidilla were bit what i expected, but in a good way. I love how it was so playful and had so much more crunchy then a regular quaesidilla.

Really good food! The meat, both lamb and horse, was cooked perfectly. Really tender. Great prices for what it is as well for Iceland standards. We had the 4 course meat option.

It is a wonderful place, every time I go to the city I take my book and my notebook and take myself to a date there. I think it is a very enjoyable place to go with people but for sure on of my favorite to go alone. The service is amazing, great recommendations, wonderful chat and beyond nice and professional. The food is delicious (from everything I have tasted I would recommend the meat, first picture) Treat yourself and visit this place ✨

Had the 4 course tasting menu. All the courses were excellent. They make a really good whisky sour too.

Lamb filet - Tender, not gamey. Fish of the day - cod. Fresh. Taste wise was ok. Bacalhau was very good! Taste, texture. 👍🏼👍🏼 Langoustine soup - Very salty. 👎🏻 The flavor wasn't bad. Good chunky langoustine.

Incredible value food, generous portions and 5 ⭐ service. A local recommended we try out this spot and the 4-course tasting menu which is just 7,000 kr each (~£40). This is comparable and even cheaper than many restaurants for just a main course, and the food was remarkable. Starting off with the complimentary fresh baked bread and olive tapenade, every single course was generously portioned and full of flavour. By the end we were absolutely stuffed. Would also say that the service here was fantastic, so attentive and just the right balance between being helpful but not at al overbearing. If I’m ever back in Iceland I’ll be back.

The most delicious restaurant in Reykjavik! We ordered two menus of 4 courses, one with fish and another with meat. Both were very tasty and with fabulous presentation, as in the most luxurious restaurants. The price is a bit high, around 7500-8000 per one menu. There is vegan menu option. The restaurant is very nice with open kitchen to observe the magic of cooking 🧑‍🍳

Everything (meal+service+atmosphere) was absolutely fantastic. I had the fly fish tasting menu with edamame quesadillas (instead of chicken) and the fish of the day, which was a ling mushroom orzo risotto (over the wolffish florentine). Wow! Atmosphere was lovely with lots of candles, great color, and good spacing between tables. Wait staff were attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Shoutout to the young man who recommended the wine (Grüner Veltliner, an Austrian white) and fish of the day (outstanding recs!). Add this restaurant to your list of possibilities for Reykjavik. You won’t regret it. Highly recommend!
