Stayed 2 nights at Forro B&B. The Forro Cafe on 1st level is an indies cafe while the B&B is on the 2nd level accessible by a spiral staircase at the back of the building. check-in with the cafe staff on the first level.The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm and closed on tuesdays, we were usually out sight seeing during those times, therefore didn't have much chance to enjoy the cafe. There are 4 different-themed rooms in the B&B. We stayed in the twin-sharing 'rock' themed room, it has 2 single beds and all the basic amenities you would expect to find in a B&B:electric kettle, instant coffee & chinese tea sachets, bathroom amenities. Room slippers are available in a basket outside the room.If you are particular about room slippers cleanliness, best to prepare your own.There is a refridgerator outside the rooms for common-use for all B&B guests.We used it without any problems.Even though the official website mentions a flat screen LCD tv in the room, ours turned out to be a CRT tv, even so, it had many cable tv channels, including English news channels.We bumped into the cleaning lady while checking in and she informed us that the room will only be cleaned upon checking out(no daily housekeeping service), however, if there is anything that we require, we can always inform us the next day.We had no trouble with that and only requested that she cleared the thrash bin after 1st night's stay.Forro B&B provided us with daily F&B vouchers to be used at the cafe on 1st level: either a NTD 100 food voucher or a NTD 120 drinks voucher can be used. We utilized the vouchers fully by takeaways on both days.my main grouse is that the toilet had just a curtain partition and not a glass door, therefore, I was a bit apprehensive about doing a Number 2 lest I 'pollute' the room.the windows of the room is frosted as that's where the shower & toilet is located, therefore, there isn't a view of the surroundings from the room.Location wise,it is within a 10 min walking distance from 广三SOGO department store.we hopped on a cab to get to the B&B from taichung train station, cab fare was about NTD 250 or so.we paid about SGD 70 per room per night.
