"One look at this hilltop fort, perched over the Port of Kingstown, and you know the British built it to fight the locals rather than to meet any threats coming by sea—all the cannons face the island’s rugged interior, where the Caribs lived. Inside the fort, you’ll find a series of murals depicting the bloody Carib wars. Kids will love exploring the old buildings, and everyone will enjoy the views."

No waiting, no entry fee, stunning 360 views. Able to see Kingstown, and nearby Grenadine islands, aswell as inland Saint Vincent.

I commonly visit this historical landmark. It is calm quiet and serene and gives a 360 degree view of Kingstown and the leeward side of the island. The many stories that have heard about this fort and it’s contribution to the history of St. Vincent.

This place has stunning sights and contains rich historical artifacts. This is a must see site for anyone visiting the island. One notable thing about the site apart from the breathtaking views is the very strong winds.

Not alot to do here as its still beautifully basic and rustic but well worth the trip up, incredible views and great history . The island is small and not geared for tourists so this is one of the main attractions , some great tour guides on this island grab one for the Fort

No tickets to buy, but it provides a beautiful view of St Vincent port and the other side overlooking the beautiful coast line. A steep walk up to the gate, they allow cars to go up for people with mobility issues, and there’s washrooms available if you need one.

One of the good historical sites to visit in St. Vincent, the fort is free and can see the nearby islands and downtown Kingstown, but visit in the afternoon gives you better lighting and photo opportunities.
