Fort House Hotel

Loved it. Rooms are basic but perfectly OK. Main things: bed comfortable, AC works just fine. Location on the waterfront is a treat. Service is excellent at all stages. Particularly enjoyed the restaurant staff. They were all engaging and efficient and the food was good too. My two tests: would I recommend, yes; would I come again, yes.

This hotel was my arrival location, and because I liked it so much, I extended the stay. I was very warmly welcomed. The restaurant is excellent, very good food and great service staff – competent and personal – thank you very much! Beautiful location, right by the water, where large and small ships sail, offering an exciting view. Very clean rooms and carefully maintained, stylish and charming. The shower did not work optimally regarding hot water regulation, but this has probably been fixed by now, as I reported it. Thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful stay!

Recently visited this place, amazing view. We had a beef sandwich, lemon ice tea and a passion fruit with lemon drink. Price is not too much when it is compared to the location. Overall i liked the calm and quite atmosphere. We went there at evening on a Sunday with out any reservations. It wasn’t that crowded during that time.

Came with family - all adults - and stayed 4 nights here. Rooms are simple but well-appointed, with effective AC and ceiling fans. Bathrooms are spacious and clean, and the housekeeping service was flexible and efficient. Each room has a small, admittedly public, terrace with chairs, table and ceiling fan. Breakfast on the waterside terrace is varied and plentiful, and the location is great. We also had dinner at the hotel on two occasions and enjoyed every dish. Service here is excellent across all the operations, from reception, through housekeeping and the kitchenand restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.

The restaurant’s ambience is spectacular but staff service is pathetic. They are only interested with foreigners but doesn’t respect the locals. Even the menu is not that great and the food taste is just ok. At that price point it could have been better. Overall it’s not a great experience, there are many such beautiful places to dine and with much better food and service.

Stopped in for a light lunch and massages. The food was awesome. The massages were great. I have had many massages, this one was unique. The grounds are wonderfully cared for. You will enjoy the Hotel. Next time we will need to stay.

I recently visited this restaurant for dinner. While the food quality and taste were good, the service was disappointing. The service manager, who has a long beard and wore a white shirt, displayed a lack of professionalism and failed to show respect toward guests. I strongly suggest appointing someone who is both professional and polite to ensure a better customer experience.

Lovely meal for New Year’s Eve, beautiful setting on the waters edge nicely lit up. We had a beautiful whole grilled fish cooked perfectly. Live music. Friendly staff. What more could you want! (Just a beer!!)
