Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel

For the first time in my life, I didn't care about losing the money. I checked in paid the $100 deposit and checked out 10 minutes later. After I walked to my room is an absolutely terrible place to stay. I almost needed a crowbar to open my door it's smelled like marijuana and pee all the way to my room. There was arguing by the pool. The pictures are completely false. The bar is not open. The place is falling apart. You need to be careful. And the stairs they're crumbling, there's homeless people in the parking lot i would have been cleaner bathing in a puddle than using their bathroom. I understand I wasn't spending a lot of money but after their resort fee.Which is crazy and their parking fee Which there is no security for so I don't know what you're paying for it and by the way, all of this, you learn at the desk. The price is comparable to many other hotels.In which i've stayed at every single day this week and nothing was even remotely close to as bad as this place was.I cannot believe that they're actually still open.

The hotel is nothing like the pictures . The only reason I stayed there is the prices were cheap through the app I use called Engine. The first 2 times I stayed there I paid everything online through the app . Their website says free parking but when you get there they charge you for parking and on my Receipt it shows the taxes and fees and property taxes included in your receipt but when you get there the people at the desk are charging you an extra $26 per night on top of the taxes and fees and property tax that you already paid for online . None of this happened the first 2 times I stayed there but I guess the receptionist Rachel got her own little side hustle going on and I looked like an easy mark . When I asked to speak to a manager about it she called someone who was part of her scam to verify what she said about the taxes and fees . I never got to speak to a manager and was extorted for $77 more dollars . I am definitely reporting this hotel and staff to the Better Business Bureau and I would tell anyone who wants to stay there to go buy a tent and stay in woods before you stay there . No Fridge, No microwave , air conditioning barely works , limited channels on TV . I hope that I get to speak to a manager about the horrible service I experienced at this place . I feel scammed and they are committing fraud because none of the things they advertise is true . You can’t promote something and charge me for it and then not provide me with it !

I would RUN from the establishment! Horrible service and absolutely gross room! My husband and I recently traveled to the Ft.Lauderdale area for my friend's wedding. we arrived late to the hotel, and as we pulled up noticed that the place was very "homely" however, we decided to keep an open mind, especially since we had just spent many hours traveling, and were ready to rest. We thought the lobby was bad, however the room that was given to us was something out of a horror movie! First, there was trash along the sidewalk to our room. Then We were placed next to a room that actively had hookers coming in and going. Eyeing us as we walked up. Upon entering the room, my face swelled (due in part that I have severe airborne allergies), it smelt of of mold, the bed had holes all over it, floor wasn't clean and the furniture was falling apart. We stayed less than 30 secs and then I got out of there (mind you, all while the hookers were walking back and forth eyeing us up and down.) We were told by friends who were staying there as well, that their rooms were just as bad, and they checked out shortly after as well. The staff was not helpful at all and kind of just shrugged us off. Very displeased with the service that we received!

Rooms aren't always perfect but for the price u cant beat it. I come back on a consistent basis because of the staff but especially Tay!! She is the best! So helpful and caring. Anything we need she takes care of us n she'll be the reason we come back!!!! Thank you Tay!!!!!

So many things to say but not enough space to write it all. Let's start with check in staff. I had the pleasure of having Tiffany at front desk. She's pleasant, informative, professional and absolutely helpful with all the questions I asked her. The ladies that made sure my room stayed clean. Thank you for making my stay exceptional.

Unsafe, Dirty, and Misleading - Avoid This Hotel I recently stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the parking lot and surrounding area felt unsafe - people loitering, visible drug activity, and individuals soliciting sex. The neighborhood itself is known for drugs and prostitution, which made me constantly uneasy. The room was filthy. There were stained sheets, mold in the bathroom, and a musty odor throughout. Floors were slimy, fixtures rusted, and basic housekeeping was inconsistent. The cleanliness of the hotel is far below acceptable standards. Noise was a major problem. Loud parties, shouting, and disturbances continued throughout the night, making it impossible to rest. On top of that, there was no visible security, and staff were indifferent when issues were raised. Hidden fees added to the frustration. I was charged additional resort and cleaning fees despite poor service. The hotel also felt misleading - online photos show a clean, modern property, but the reality is outdated and poorly maintained. Overall, my stay was stressful and unsafe. The combination of unclean rooms, lack of security, loud disturbances, and a shady neighborhood makes this hotel unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding it and finding safer, cleaner accommodations in Fort Lauderdale.

My sister and I drove 8 hours to surprise our sister so my husband booked this hotel for us… if you go by the pictures posted online you would think it’s a decent place to stay… ABSOLUTELY NOT! Words can’t even describe how horrible this place is. It should be shut down!! Also, pretty sure it’s not the safest place either. Just look at the window seal from the OUTSIDE where it’s been pried open so many times it’s bent back! Manager tried to tell me it was from maintenance 🙄 uuumm they should have room Keys!! We walked back to the front desk as soon as we opened the door to the room and they assured us we would get a refund since we were not staying. It’s been over 3 weeks and still no refund. Don’t waste your time or your money…. On a good note, the girls at the front desk were very pleasant.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The room was not clean, with hair in the bed and rust and holes in several areas. The toilet didn’t flush, and the door lock didn’t work, which was both inconvenient and unsafe. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unhelpful when we reported these problems. There was no apology or effort to fix the situation. This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star. This was the filthiest hotel i have ever been to. I strongly do-not recommend anyone to stay here.

The reviews are super ‼ I can't speak about the hotel experience, but I can give my 5 cents about my night life experience there! From what I saw being advertised, there are a lot of activities at this location. My friend was celebrating her birthday in the lounge. I was during the day it's a restaurant. I wouldn't know because I was a night owl. They have valet parking. However, the workers were very unprofessional and rude!! What's the point of valet parking if they didn't have enough staff to get your car for you so you have to play scavenger hunt to find your car The lounge/restaurant is a nice size. Enough room to spread out and dance without people being on top of you. If you're looking for a place to smoke your life away, here is a perfect spot for you. That part I really couldn't enjoy!! There is only one bar, and they serve food. The food was pretty good, according to my friends. I only had to soak up the alcohol. The djs were really good. They played all genre of music. I want to try the day party, but I hope it's not hood with all these negative reviews. Lol

This would be a great dog hotel, the owner should consider converting this into a retreat for furry friends. The TV size is perfect for a small to medium sized Doberman to watch cows moo all day. But once you approach a full sized Doberman, especially a pincher, I feel the tv size is inadequate. However, I found that my dog would prefer nicer towels. You guys should leave a dog bowl and water on the floor for the furry friends after a long day of barking & playing tug a war Your drywaller needs to be fired, because 9 more coats of paint won't fix that sorry excuse of craftsmanship.

Everything needs improving! Definitely NOT grand! Noisy. Unclean. Pretty gross, No breakfast or other amenities like coffee.

Read the description, when was this written? 1975? Because that is definitely the last time this place was remodeled. Nothing about this place was modern, comfortable, or spacious. No wifi, and nobody answered the phone in the office all night.

The wait time to check in is incredibly long. The front desk attendant is also incredibly slow. The smell of marihuana is very potent!!

The Most Terrible Hotel to lodge at in Fort Lauderdale! Pimps, Hoes, and whatever goes look like they reside here. This was recommended by an Agent. He should be fired! He said a sister property. This was a Mothers 5th cousins property. Buildings highly needs power washing, TV didn't work and very small like a 24 inch looks like 10 inch on a gigantic dresser, doors filthy, no tissue dispenser it just sits on toilet tank, no hangers to hang your clothes, noise is ridiculous it's like people literally at your door talking on level 10, constant crowd of people around corridor of the buildings, safe on the floor looking like a microwave, but no microwave no fridge, walls & floors look disgusting! The only people that will take this is homeless people. This is the grand hotel to get off the street. If you want a decent place or a place like home you better step on the gas pass this place!

Worst over priced hotel experience ever. Never again. Sheets were dirty. Room had no power on one wall and they had connected extension cord from neighboring room. Broken bathroom knob. Broken parts in bed. Clogged sink in bathroom. Broken fire alarm. Dirty pool broken ice machine on floor. Everyone lost looking for rooms . I walked around 3 times on 5th floor looking for room. Next to train tracks. Felt unsafe. Front door looks like someone tried to break in door.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. It's nothing like the pictures and horrible customer service. Genuinely so shocked at how unprofessional everyone behaves. The hotel, or should I say, Motel, needs to get remodeled. There is no hot water, the doors are dirty nor close, and the lamps in the rooms are rusting. Need I say more? Think twice before you book there. p.s. no manager around to talk to and not a place you'll feel safe sleeping at.

An exterminator is needed someone to fix the door and the door locks would be a start new furniture because the furniture is outdated and instead of antenna actually get cable as advertised. If I could give zero stars I would

This Hotel was Dirty... black mold on exterior walls, elevator lobby. Room was old dirty like rusty metal gross walls in room. Roaches... There seemed to be a cavalcade of vagrants hanging around the property... sitting in the lobby, out front of entrance, in the stair wells. The Staff all seemed sketchy. Definitely saw what appeared to be prostitution happening. I got randomly locked out of my room due to key just stopped working. A lot of noise from other guests or previously mentioned vagrants as late as 3am. The Pool was gross... none of the pictures I saw represented the current appearance of this property. I was evacuated from my home and needed a place to escape Hurricane Milton or I would have left immediately.

The hotel is old and run down. Needs a lot of work done. They have men painting and such, which is good, but it needs more. The first room we stayed in was horrible!!!! The TV did not work, the fixtures had rust, the knobs on the bathroom door was hanging off, the seals along the tub and vanity were worn and molded - I could go on. We expressed our concerns and were told maintenance would arrive and they did not. We, again, expressed our concerns and nothing, just that it is an old hotel. Keep in mind, we were being charged almost $32 per night for service fees. Next day, we expressed our concerns and Roger changed rooms for us and reversed one night's service fee. The second room we were in was MUCH BETTER! The TV worked, the seals were fresh, etc... There is no continental breakfast. You are charged nightly to park. You are charged daily for service fees. You are charged a refundable deposit.

I was scared of all the people hanging around the front entrenched. Horrible place. Expedia reviews are lies. I can't even give it 1 star

The man who checked me in was very nice. Nothing else was good. They charge a resort fee, but this place is more of a motel than hotel. They don't serve breakfast, the bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder (TP was on the back of the toilet), and the "gates" were propped open by staff! I asked the front desk manager to help me out with the "resort fee" and he offered to change my room. I said to what another shitty room? The wifi doesn't have a password and the signal was weak. I couldn't even make phone calls- I had to switch back to data. I suppose if you are into clubbing, drugs, and h@@kers it's a great place- since they all three are attached to the "hotel"!

worst stay ever. I felt lied to and bamboozled out of my money. Pulling up to the hotel was sketchy didn't really live up to the photos that were given. Hotel Staff was rude soon as we got to the counter. Just nasty. Furniture was old and outdated. Pool was dirty and disgusting along with the lounge chairs. People walking around smoking in the halls. Trash posted in every corner. The room was even worse. Had to get a room change immediately because the outlets and lights weren't working. Bathroom was horrible. Roaches on our walls. Tv channels didn't even work. The Phone was broken and wasn't even connected. Water marks on the ceiling. Floor was slippery and dirty still. Just a shit hotel period.

Do not stay here. It's filthy and unsafe. That chairs were stained in our room, the toilet dirty, the glass door and floor had something streaked on them and there was paint peeling with holes in the walls!

ALL PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Apologies for the long passage ! Where do I even begin ? Sigh My boyfriend and I travelled from the Bahamas to stay at The Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel , as excited as we were for this stay our moods took a turn for the worst after checking in at this "Hotel". We arrived shortly after 11pm on July 23rd 2022. Upon arrival we were happy to see how clean the lobby was, we proceeded to check in with the staff and boy was I appalled with how we were greeted with the worst customer service ever . However still excited we just assumed the night shift was having an off Day ! "Roger" the front desk clerk that handled our reservations proceeded to tell us where our room was located & which elevator to use because the first was Out of Service. After walking pass the front desk and out of the doors headed pass the pool area , our perception of a great hotel experience turned into dissatisfying memory. We went up to our room Red flag #1 The elevators were in the worst state ,patched up with wood & floors were sinking in. Vending machines leaking positioned in dirty area. We Proceeded to our room & met a male that appeared to be a tenant of the complex smoking in front of the room on the side of us (not sure if this was a designated smoking area ) it seemed to be the norm. Despite the motel appearance The room itself was not as pictured , the cleanliness is a 3/10 sheets were stained , bathroom toilet tissue was stained we tried getting a new but all were the same don't know if it's something in their storage that causes this. Red flag #2 There's another room that connects the other tenants space ( if both of you open the door the same time you would be basically looking at one another) we kept it locked and placed a chair under the handle. First night was horrible as the room scent was horrible and filled with roaches. At this point we tried our best to not complain although I felt totally ripped off my trip we paid an extra $180 something deposit at checked in and I was not even getting the hotel experience as described. The pool was dirty , very noisey at night ,The only reason we did not check out right away was due to a package I pre ordered that was saying On the way and could not be intercepted. Red flag #3 We went to Benihana for dinner the next day and as we returned they were having an event by the pool area despite of the bar and lounge located within this building. The parking lot entrance was blocked off at the far right preserved for "valet" . I did not mind this as I loved the music they were playing although very loud I wondered how the other guest felt , shortly after being back at the room persons were loitering and there was no security visible at all. This is where I felt unsafe . People were drunk driving wreckless for no apparent reason within this area. At this time it was around 11 pm we went into the lobby and to our surprise we found out this was also a place that locals hosts events ( an event hall) aight fine ! the furniture, like the bed and bathroom is fair but the atmosphere is heavy, spiritually and literally. dirty doors and and baby cockroach crawling up my thigh as im looking for something to watch on the tv. and the staff here?!!? they're ALL passive aggressive, or just down right ssa-holes!! everyone here seemingly had piss in their cereal that morning. then there's like some hidden fee thing they charge you per night, so if you wanna stay two nights? oh ur paying an additional 62 bucks. (31 a night) + you have a car? + 12 dollars a night. thats 74 extra dollars when you could get an extra night with that at a decent rate nearby. yeah, um NO! keep looking!

This is the worst hotel. I arrived at 1130 pm just to find out that my reservation was canceled. They found it and give away my two bed room. All they had left one room for my son and I. They gave me one bed with a pull out couch bed, I had to go get the Lenin myself. Dirty, rusty, blood, condoms, broken toilet, They charge you for parking when you get there. Water presure sucks, no room service for the 3 days there. I had people trying to deliver McDonald's at 2 am knocking at my door. Not a safe area. I wish I could get my money back.

The general manager Patrick refused my service animal (which he did not even see) against federal law under ADA guidelines. I paid thousands of dollars to have my dog trained and not only did he make me state that I have ptsd in front of the entire staff & other customers, he then told me that my dog is just emotional support and not a real service animal. I tried expressing my dog is TRAINED for tasks and he kept saying it doesn't matter it's emotional support. I have video of him harassing me & violating multiple hippa violations. This hotel will hear from our lawyer.

This hotel did not honor our reservation made through Expedia. We have never had an experience like this. When we arrived there were a lot of night walkers in the parking area in front of hotel, we cautiously proceed into the hotel. The inside was the same with half dressed women by the front desk area with their owners if you get what that means. The staff was rude and more interested in them than the guest in front of them. They proceeded to say we didn't have a reservation but after spending 2 hours waiting for them to verify they then told us we can call management on Monday, remind you that it's Friday and now it's 1 in the morning and we not from the area. They didn't care where we stayed. We called Expedia because they would not refund our money, Expedia called them and they still would not give our money back. Expedia refunded us our money and we booked with a hotel (Westin) who cares about their customers. Please beware.

I stayed one night at the Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel at the recommendation of an African American clerk who works at the 7-Eleven nearby when I told him I was looking for a room under $100. He said the place was nice and would meet my price point. On the latter, he was partially correct. The room cost me $75+ tax, but the hotel charges an extra $100 safety deposit in the event of any damages or theft from the guests. Given how seedy this hotel is, no wonder they need such a hefty security deposit. This was without a doubt the worst hotel experience of my entire life! When I checked in, a raucous party was going on in the nightclub across from the front desk, and people were passed out drunk on the couches in the lobby. Everyone there was African American except for me, and they all gave me dirty looks as I walked in as a result. The front desk staff was nice enough, checked me in, and gave me my key, then told me to park my car "wherever I could find a spot." At this point, it was past 11pm and I felt like my options were limited since I had just arrived in Fort Lauderdale and knew of no other hotel nearby after driving 3 days down from NY. Had I known how frightening and disgusting this place was, I would have driven down to the beach and just slept in my car! I feared for my life all night! Prostitutes and drug dealers were turning deals in the parking lot and back under the trees behind the property. I was afraid my car would have no wheels and smashed windows when I awoke the next day so that I had to get up several times during the night to check on it. My room had a terrible, musty smell to it. The TV didn't get a single working channel. The safe in the room was broken. The light switch for the bathroom was loose and barely operational. I couldn't find a nearby electrical outlet to plug in my cell phone because the hotel is so old that it has no plugs in the walls. The pool was dirty and unkempt. The floors and walls of the exterior hallways were so peeling and pitted that I feared the structure might collapse, and I could go on and on. I wouldn't stay in The Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel again if the room was free! Stay away from this fleabag like your life depends on it, because it does!

It is the worst hotel I have ever been in my life customer service was trash and roaches and doors keys don't work I had to request for a microwave, molds on the ceilings and to make matters worse the outlets don't even work , Lamps rushing, What you see online is what you get, false advertising be careful they shut the water off without informing anyone and no hot water for 4 days.

Nope. This is hands down the worst hotel I've ever book in my life. Everything in this place is falling apart it honestly looks like an abandoned hotel building once you actually get in there. The one thing I will say that was positive is everyone that worked there was very very friendly .

Checked in here February 28 and checked out the next morning. The hotel was filthy and nothing like the website portrays. Everything was rusted in the hotel room and really outdated. The website shows the je picture of each type of room and the room we had definitely did not look like any of the pictures. The hotel also states that it is a 100% smoke free hotel and someone was smoking right outside our room on the balcony and also another person at the pool. There was a lot of people coming in and out of the gated doorways that led to the parking lot. There was a family walking through the gate with their dog in a pet stroller. This hotel seems like they have many families living in the hotel as well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially ones with younger kids. We did not even feel comfortable taking our shoes off in the room.

Trashy. This "hotel" is a far cry from what the website advertises it to be. When we arrived late Friday night, the hotel was hosting a dance club event. A wall of live video cameras showed us residents roaming the outdoor hallways and the parking lot. It was extremely unsettling. We had to sign an agreement that no guests were allowed during "curfew" between 10 pm and 6 am. I wondered what this meant. After we were alerted that the elevator was out of order, we wandered the maze of MOTEL rooms, with folks gathering along the walkways and in the parking lot area. We finally made it to the room. If it wasn't so late that it was literally the next morning, I would have left. See some of the pictures attached. I've never slept on top of the sheets before until now. The soles of my socks turned black. It was horrendous. Wood was rotting, electrical outlets were falling apart, and the shower head did not have a mount. This experience was so startling that it would be a good set for a horror film. I tried calling another hotel but everyone else was booked.

Dangerous area. Hotel unsafe. Hotel not clean. Food options are very limited and it's not safe to walk away from the hotel area after dark.

Omg i dont know where to start this is one of the worst hotels I've ever been to i can't believe i actually stayed smh i only needed two days but i should of followed What my friend said an go back to the front desk for a refund and to get the hell out smh i was in town from Atlanta for My baby shower in Florida an wanted to stay at a hotel instead of with family . Let's just say i would of been better off with family wow i should of really looked at the reviews of this place before settling because it was cheap . I booked i believe through a 3rd party using My T mobile Tuesday app the room came out to $192 and change i booked the room online About 8 o'clock the morning but did not check in till about 10 o'clock at night due being busy all day . When I got there to check in I was told I have to pay $100 security deposit and $12 for something else I can't remember what it was for which I was confused because I booked online and it said nothing about a deposit just $192 upfront which made me mad , From the time I showed up I was unsatisfied it was too much walking around random guys in the parking lot people were in and out a whole party was downstairs I believe they have a club in the hotel or at the bar whatever , The parking lot was completely full and I was scared to park my car but I made sure I took everything out of it just in case. Anyways we finally made it in the room and I was completely dissatisfied yet alone I felt very dirty based on the room I thought I was in a motel not a hotel . It was the worst two queen size beds with the pillows leaned up against the wall on the bed , no headboards no microwave , no refrigerator , small ass TV that you were unable to change The room was very run down more like a hole in the wall it made me feel completely dirty just by being in there I couldn't believe it they didn't have the basic needs in a hotel room but they had the nerve to have a safe in the room on the floor. The room was just raggedy no housekeeping I requested housekeeping the next morning 6 AM while leaving to go out for the rest of the day and made it back at two in the morning and my room was not touched not one time filthy little ass garbage can over flowing , but I guess it's my fault for not reviewing The ratings of this place because it was most definitely a ways I would never happen again I would never recommend anybody here

This hotel houses a lot of homeless families and kids and men. Nonstop yelling. Smoke. Weed. Marijuana. Ghetto and shady people. You name it. Roaches. Dirty bathrooms. This is not a fake Review. Do not stay at this hotel. I am glad they are helping homeless people get a place to stay. But they have no business being a hotel. STAY AWAY

On August 28th, part of a Priceline combo package we arrived at the Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel. A 3-star hotel tech. a 2.8 & fig. we wouldn't be spending too much time in the hotel overall. we bought this package including the Ft. L. G.H. 7 night stay. The outside & lobby looked fine. As a at the fort Lauderdale Grand hotel. As a 3-star hotel techn. including the Ft. L. G.H. 7 night stay. The outside look & lobby look fine. As I sign the paperwork and ask for a copy I was told I would be given it at the end of my stay. (Pretty sure this is illegal) I found garbage in the elevator which was broken & would stop on random floors & ask for a copy I was told I would be given it at the end of my stay. Despite the no smoking signs everywhere they sell blunt wraps in the vending machines & I witnessed people smoking weed waiting for the elevator and cigarettes outside of the rooms. I first noticed that our room 525 left us following the arrows in the middle of a conjunction where we didn't know where to go with all of our luggage (horrible) in the room we found a very unsanitary condition including two cockroaches and a stain on the headboard we weren't sure what it was on top of two "queen" size beds that weren't in my opinion & contradictory to what the paperwork said the safe didn't work and the same representative that wouldn't give me a copy of my signed paperwork was not very discreet when I brought up the safe issue. Cheap toilet paper, limited outlets that worked & the TV reception to match compounded the terrible exp. that almost broke up my relationship. Furthermore, on my last day I left a pair of pants outside my room to dry in which my belt was stolen, & I emailed the manager with no response. I also wrote a BBB letter with no response.

Don't stay here there is a "service fee" and parking fee per night u stay. Report the number of cloths and towels in ur room or they will charge you 30.00 for towels. Rooms are not as clean as they should be for the daily service fee they charge. Not the safest place at night. You won't get anyone to answer the phone once they've charged your card. Pay a lil more and stay next door.

Stayed here for four days last week. First, I would like to say, The videos and pictures on social media are NOTHING like what the hotel looks like. It's filthy, run down and feels unsafe! The photos and videos are completely misleading. I was very upset to see the condition of the hotel, as I don't get a lot of time off for vacation. The second day I noticed that my legs and my back had a rash all over them. The entire time that I was there My room was not cleaned one time. On the fourth day I ask the front desk person why that was, and he said you have to request it. I have never heard of this ever. I have never experienced such poor conditions at a hotel, as I have stayed at motels around the country for my former job. At hotels as well. This hotel Has to be the absolute worst one I've ever stayed in. $100 deposit also still has not gone Back into my account yet, as it takes 7 to 10 business days, which is very weird and inconvenient. I spoke to Michael the assistant manager and he gave me the email of the GM. I emailed him twice, the exact same email, and I got no response. This place does not care about its customers, and it is not a safe healthy environment to stay in. I WANT A REFUND for This horrendous experience.

Terrible ambiance. Rooms are filthy. No manager ever on duty. Doesn't feel safe at all. Overall horrible experience. Asked for a refund because I haven't even stayed 10 minutes. Then I needed a manager that was never there. Extra fees when you arrive. DONT BOOK

Don't stay here there is a "service fee" and parking fee per night. Rooms are not as clean as they should be for the daily service fee they charge. Not the safest place at night. Neighboring room fought all night, throwing garbage bags in the hallway, people smoking drugs, rude staff. Pay a lil more and stay save next door.

This Hotel is Extremely dirty, outlets look like a fire hazard, lamps in the room did not work. The pictures posted on the website are deceiving. Please do not stay here, does not seem safe. Once I saw blood on the door and walls I was out of there!

Omg....this place is nasty and a little scary. When I walked in I thought not too bad... The lobby old fashion but it looks clean.... I think that was only thing clean about this place.... My pictures and videos do not even start to show how disgusting this place is... my door did not even have a deadbolt on it so I pushed the table and a chair against it as I was fearful while I slept. There are gates to even go up the stairs on the outside I mean come on what hotel has gates and by gates I mean bars. Super shady place do not go it's not worth the money.... Not only did I have a charge to book online when I got there they charge me another $13 for resort fee, fee for what ? what resort. Then you have to fill out the big thing about all the stuff regarding cleanliness when you leave the place, parking, Covid and Pet fee $50. Oh and the deposit let's not forget the hundred dollar deposit that you put down on your credit card.... Rusted, moldy, no hot shower, no pressure in the shower, about electrocuted myself on the hairdryer and never got it working. When I was walking I could feel how dirty the floor was and actually felt like maybe they waxed it so I took a towel and a little water and cleaned the floors- you could see this on a picture.... Pour drywall repair, mix match paint, lumpy bed....not good....

The restaurant at this establishments ( Lowekey Catering )is great . The food was delicious . I had the Cowboy burger with fries and it was cooked to the temperature I ordered the fries was hot and the service was excellent. I give the Chief a 10 . Excellent The restaurant was spotless. This was a great experience

This is the worst hotel in fort Lauderdale. Anyone reading this review make sure you check it out before renting. I've been there for three days and all three days there was no hot water. I had to call the office over and over every day for the three days I was there. Also the area is not safe especially if you are a single female renting please I mean please be careful. The hotel is very run down its better to do an air bnb if your renting more than two days.

This is a absolute sh*thole. It's filly, I was terrified to open my bags or even take my shoes off. Pretty sure I won't be able to sleep because it's absolutely disgusting. Appears decent in the lobby but is absolutely gross in the rooms. I would recommend this hotel ever. The most filthy room I've ever stayed in.

Only OKAY thing is the location. Other than that definitely not worth a penny! The rooms are nasty. Didn't even want to sit my bags down. I wouldn't definitely shower, lay IN the beds, or EAT in the room. I would've rebooked another room if we didn't just spend almost $300 here.

Zero Stars. Dirty, dingy, stinky, unsafe neighborhood, just horrible. People doing drugs outside. Also...this is not a hotel. It's a motel. Room doors are outside. Stray cats crying and hungry. The only redeeming quality was the front desk clerk. She was friendly and welcoming. We were there for less than an hour before we were able to get rooms at another hotel.

This place was disgusting. Didn't look anything like the pictures online, all of that was a pure lie. I was absolutely floored at the amount of people that looked like drug addicts staying there. The room fixtures were rusted out thank the heavens I brought my own towel and wash cloth. Please beware, now I'm wondering who wrote their reviews??? I was there 2/11/23 to 2/13/23. Please DO NOT DO IT.

This was the most horrific hotel we've ever stayed at. It started with the opening of our room door and finding a man already in there!!! Complained to front desk who stated he had entered another room the week before! It was too late to get another hotel so we went to our new room. The halls and elevator reeked of marijuana. The room was bare bones. The phone didn't even work. The toilet worked when it wanted to. The bathtub was painted white. And the shower head was rusted. I booked this hotel from Priceline who I called to complain. They offered us 15% off on next booking. Yeah right. Like I'm ever going to trust them again!

Disgusting. Check the pictures.... Front desk lady is rude and the whole place stinks. They charge you a $9 resort fee????? Resort????? More like a roach fee!!!! *BEWARE TRAVELERS* - spend the extra $100 and stay at the holiday inn - this place is a hoax.

THE WORST and MOST DISGUSTING hotel room I have ever been in. The pool/lounge area is deceiving, it's pretty nice but that goes to shit when you walk into your room. Mold on the mattresses, sheets weren't washed / had LARGE black hairs under blanket, air vents haven't been cleaned in years, toilet didn't flush properly, door was off hinges and had to lift to close, TV didn't work. Would NEVER stay there or recommend this place to ANYONE. CHECKED OUT WITHIN 30 MINS OF BEING THERE.

rip off. scam. rude female employee who lives there. thumbs down; thumbs down; thumbs down. do not let the facade fool you. grand??? which definition applies oh... the excess fees. especially if booked through a third party.
