"Although Fort Lauderdale was initially known as a beloved spring break destination, it’s since become a popular year-round vacation spot thanks to its nearly 25 miles of beaches and a bustling nightlife scene. Las Olas Boulevard is lined with shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars; favorites include Ann’s Florist Coffee & Wine Bar, South Moon Under, and Timpano Las Olas. Should you need a break from the beach, make a beeline for the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk, where you’ll find several scenic parks. Culture vultures, meanwhile, need not miss the Museum of Discovery and Science, the Bonnet House, or the Anne Kolb Nature Center, the latter of which is located in nearby Hollywood." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based freelance writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. "Clear members flying on Delta can expect the service in effect at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL)."
If taking a flight here…It looks like a horrible wait because it’s a fairly small airport international flights move fast but I got an extended stay in the airport because of an unfriendly staff. I stayed the entire weekend! Because I wasn't aware they don't let you bring a carry on! I wouldn't recommend Spirit to anyone trying to travel for the low unless your just bringing a purse. Alligiant is more leanant on the carry on! They only do flights to certain states and both airlines book on certain days only! I also didn't know that the Ft lauderdale is big as f. Until I walked from one end to the other!
