Very interesting tour of fort built in 18th C. You can still see the remnants of where the masons cut the stone for the fort in the rocks nearby. Take some ear phones to use the free audio guide. Bargain at 3 Euros a ticket.

A friendly welcoming at the entrance where we were guided through the process of downloading the free commentary onto our phone (bring a headset!). They even have free WiFi to make that painless!
Such a fascinating fort...so different from any we have visited before with it's circular tunnel.
Park at the free carpark on the opposite cliff, enjoy the walk through the embodiment of paradise cove and then travel back in time.

Spent approx. 1 hour walking around this fort built by the British in the 1700s. We took the audio guide and found it very interesting. The car park for the fort is a good 15-20min walk away. There is a toilet there near the entrance. My son who is 4 was entertained by the dark passages and the noises coming from them. The climb to the top of the fort is a bit uneven, it may be difficult with a pushchair. Great views from the top of the for the towards Mahon. Price was very reasonable. Overall a very good way to spend an hour or so.

Well worth the 3 euros. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. It's about a 2 mile walk from Es Castell square.
