Fort Savane

This hotel is exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious and perfect for an affordable hotel centrally located. We experienced excellent service during our two night stay. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was very safe.

The hotel is located really close to (about 5mins walk) to the ferry port. There are lots of restaurants near by- however their opening times may vary. The reception is open different hours a day and there is an emergency number provided for any other times. Both nights we stayed the electricity kept cutting out all night and this made the air condition unit go on and off. Every time it came back on the made a “beep” sound which was really disturbing as it happened about 2-3 times per minute. By the second morning; the power was gone completely. There’s a lift to get to the hotel and it is was rather tricky to find the emergency room exit to leave the property. The room was clean and tidy and they provide tea and coffee.

Amazing welcoming from the reception lady and grate recommendation to visit around the fort de france. People say that there are some party around and noisy but by the time around 22:00 they start to closing so its acceptable. And yes the another grate place to stay!

good location( looking out at Fort and Park). clean enough. but quite unwelcoming and not “charming” in the least. We were hoping for a flavor of the “old town” and room was stark black and white. bed squeaked, no soap in shower, no sign of Carribean touch. Maybe this is typical of hotels in Fort de France, but no ground floor lobby. Woman at the desk upstairs was friendly.

Great for a weekend escape and wanting to be in the heart of Fort de France.||Very welcoming host with a quick check in process. ||Rooms were clean and very comfortable bed and included coffee machine and a mini fridge with bottled water. Internet was acceptable for the limited time we used it. ||Lots of places to dine within five minute walk. ||Parking is not available but was not difficult to find. ||Will happily return and recommend.

Location is super central, close to the sea/ferry/bustrams and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful, doesn't matter if you speak french or not. Got great tips for all over the island because of the staff. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Has everything you need for when on vacation

Receptionist was really lovely and polite. However rooms weren't that impressive and everything was very noisy. The bed squeaked so much that it woke me up several times during the night when I moved. Quite a lot of noise from the street below including drilling which began at 5.30am. I could hear the upstairs neighbors, I guess the floors or ceilings are quite thin. Not a great night!

The property isn't bad, the location is central but there is some noise which you have to contend with (noise within the property and lots of noise on the street). Loud music nightly and the occasional rooftop party (without any warnings). The wifi is spotty so prepare yourself accordingly.
