The location is perfect for people from the cruises, the room was clean and the price fair. We arrived too early from the cruise and they allowed us to leave our luggage until check in was ready. The only one thing I didn’t like was the toilet paper, it feels too cheap. I would absolutely recommend this place

Not recommended. Although the location was good and the room was large with a kitchen area, there were too many areas for improvement: 1. Better quality toilet paper (2-ply was cheap & terrible, see photo) 2. Provide steady supply of water for shower. (We were on 3rd floor with low water pressure and sometimes, water flow just stopped while showering. We assume someone on second floor was using water too.) 3. Provide at least 8 hangers for closet (even cheap plastic ones, our room had 2 wooden ones and one flimsy wire hanger); see photo 4. Provide fold up suitcase rack (the rack was part of the desk and just big enough for a carryon) 5. No breakfast; many hotels without a restaurant still have an area where one can get a simple breakfast with fruit, rolls, boiled eggs, cereal & juice. Coffee and tea are provided in the room but we were expecting more... 6. Better quality TV with more channels (only 10 French language channels; also TV is cheap, old and not .Smart". As the name "Residence" implies, it is better suited for longer term stays.

Perfect for a weekend escape and wanting to be in the heart of the city and central to ferry . Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will book with this hotel for my next visit

When we first got to the hotel, no one was available to let us in the premises to store our bags. There was not even a restroom accessible after a long morning of traveling. After an hour of standing outside of hotel as it is a locked property a guest was leaving so I was able to enter. Upon entering the check in area no one was available. Other guest also needed front desk assistance and there was none. Because no one was at front desk there was still no place to use the restroom. 3 hours later front desk came and checked us in. I would like to also add I did have a local call multiple times to number provided and it still took 3 hours for front desk to arrive. I only stayed one night, the morning of check out the manager behavior was so nasty. It was 3 minutes past check out time and she started banging the door as I was doing final preparations to leave. As we left the room she said a slick remark as my mother and I approached the elevator 5 minutes past checkout time. I couldn’t believe how she spoke to us. I left with grace but because of the level of unprofessionalism and how unorganized the facility is i will not be returning.

This hotel is exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious and perfect for an affordable hotel centrally located. We experienced excellent service during our two night stay. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was very safe.

Great for a weekend escape and wanting to be in the heart of Fort de France.||Very welcoming host with a quick check in process. ||Rooms were clean and very comfortable bed and included coffee machine and a mini fridge with bottled water. Internet was acceptable for the limited time we used it. ||Lots of places to dine within five minute walk. ||Parking is not available but was not difficult to find. ||Will happily return and recommend.

The hotel is located really close to (about 5mins walk) to the ferry port. There are lots of restaurants near by- however their opening times may vary. The reception is open different hours a day and there is an emergency number provided for any other times. Both nights we stayed the electricity kept cutting out all night and this made the air condition unit go on and off. Every time it came back on the made a “beep” sound which was really disturbing as it happened about 2-3 times per minute. By the second morning; the power was gone completely. There’s a lift to get to the hotel and it is was rather tricky to find the emergency room exit to leave the property. The room was clean and tidy and they provide tea and coffee.
