My family and I stayed 3 nights at this campground. 2 nights were tent sites and our last night was in a keg cabin. We had two teens and a 6 year old, my husband and myself. The land is beautiful! The grounds were well taken care of. The cleanest bathrooms and showers on any campsite we’ve seen. Private!! Not multiple stalls per bathroom. Wild life so close to the sites, regularly!! (Rabbits, turkeys, deer, beautiful birds, not predator wild life). We met the owners and many workers and talked to them many times during our stay. They’re so nice and accommodating. We saw many camp sites in Custer, and knew we picked the right one! We moved from a tent site to a keg on our last night in the hills and check out was at 11, check in was at 1 and no one was in the keg so they gave us a key to the keg to move our items early. My kids played at their fort style park, including my teenagers, and they said it was their favorite playground ever! Prices felt very fair. Site is very close to many sight seeing and tourist activities. Minutes from Custer state park. They have a cute store with ice and firewood available. By far our favorite ground during our trip. We will recommend to everyone and will definitely be back there to visit.
