Forte Hotel Changhua

Very clean and very friendly staff… they even have coin laundry services in the hotel. Great Location, 2 minutes walk to the Changhua Christian Hospital.. Convenient shops like 7-Eleven everywhere

I liked almost everything about this hotel! I'd say the only negatives I really noticed. The metal fittings around the shower piping were coming off the wall 🧱 of shower. Shower pressure was very low. There was a hard working waiter in the dining area that didn't seem to be having a good day, absolutely quiet, no eye contact and didn't seem friendly. Also the gym could do with a few key improvements. I suggest : - vertical smith machine - a cable machine station - dumbbells up to 20kg - kettle bells up to 20kg Air Conditioner is excellent!

The Bad: ||||- The service at the check in counter was extremely inconsistent and depended upon the person working there. Sometimes, they were rude and sometimes extremely friendly and helpful .||-Breakfast buffet was average . A basic selection only and no made to order options. ||- Ventilation system was poor and filled the room constantly with the smell of smoke , causing both of us to sneeze often.||-Bathroom design is modern looking but odd and impractical , especially the location when exiting the shower. ||-We stayed 2 nights and booked 2 rooms. My parents’ room’s front door lock was totally broken which means anyone could enter without even having a key. They did try to fix it twice and were not successful, but they did offer changing room to different room. ||||The Good: ||||- We had to depart on our first morning at 5:30 AM ,so they offered to prepare a breakfast box to go. This outstanding to go breakfast box was packed with abundant breakfast items including fruit, drink, breakfast sandwich, and pastries. I would rate this thoughtful breakfast option 5 stars||- Stylish and modern breakfast and eating area||- Room was spacious. ||- A 7-11 , coffee shop, and several restaurants are a five-minute walk away

The staff is very friendly. Room is nice, big and clean. i really enjoyed staying there. Slept really really well which was what I really needed and I believe that's the most important thing of staying at the hotel. The price was a big higher than the normal rate but I have paid the same or higher at somewhere else but not as comfortable as this one! The only thing to improve is the breakfast service. not many options and most of them aren't hot enough.

The only real criticism of this hotel is that it's not near the train station or centre of town. It's a big modern hotel with nice sized comfortable rooms. Good helpful staff. Nice buffet breakfast. There's some decent eating places around the hotel area.||Taxi to train station takes about 10 minutes.

I went this hotel while i was on businesstrip. I really stayed here comfortably with many kind of tings in hotel such as spacious room, bathtub, big bed, big screen tv, good breakfast Especially i really loved their omelet in breakfast menu. But hotel location is a bit far from taichung hsr station. So it is a bit difficult to foreigner who visits changhua first time.

This hotel is located in a quiet business area. Although it shares the same building with other businesses, you won't see lots of people around. Besides, the hotel has it's own elevators from basement parking garage straight to hotel lobby and rooms. Hotel is located in a quiet area, but you sill can find plenty of fine dining restaurants in walking distance. And Taiwanese favorite convenient store "7-11" is just right at the corner. Parking is very easy to access and free for hotel guests. And if you walk further, you can find lots of gourmet street foods and drinks near by. Hotel lobby is clean and spacious with elegant design. Hotel staffs are super friendly and of course, staffs at counter do speak English. Hotel room is also spacious. We stayed in the Superior Double Room which is roomier and has a shower room and a bath tub. Room and bathroom are very clean. Bed and comforter are clean, comfortable, and warm. The hotel also offer complimentary deluxe breakfast. This hotel is a business hotel, but also good for family trip. It is a 4-star hotel (I think), but it has 5 star services and amenities. If we travel to Changhua again, we will definitely come back.
