Tucked away on the charming Princess Street in Fort Kochi, this beautifully restored heritage mansion blends Portuguese, Dutch, and British architecture with modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and attentive staff made us feel like honored guests. The check-in was smooth—even though we arrived late at night—and we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. Our room was thoughtfully decorated with antique-style furniture, a four-poster bed, and spacious interiors that retained an old-world charm. The bathroom was large. Every corner of the hotel oozes character—whether it's the stained glass, the tiled floors, or the classic wooden furniture. The central courtyard pool is a peaceful retreat, and we loved relaxing by it in the evenings. Breakfast was a highlight: freshly prepared South Indian and continental dishes served in a tranquil, open-air setting. The in-house restaurant, The Jetty, also served some delicious seafood and Kerala specials. Last month, my two friends and I visited Forte Kochi for a casual evening snack, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. Though we weren’t staying at the hotel, the staff welcomed us warmly, and the atmosphere immediately stood out with its blend of heritage charm and quiet elegance. We spent some time at the restaurant, where the setting felt both cozy and refined—especially the beautifully lit wine display that added a sophisticated touch to the space. The snacks we ordered were fresh and flavorful, perfectly suited for a relaxed evening catch-up. Overall, it was a short visit, but the ambiance, service, and quality left a lasting impression on all three of us.

Okay so i only had food there i didnt stay or book a room but oh my god the food there was HEAVENLY I’ve never had pasta so good My friend who hates chicken had the chicken pasta i ordered, it was that good! I would definitely come here everyday if it was closer to me Such a pretty place too The paintings on the wall and the ambiance I didn’t know it was a hotel at first cause i entered through the restaurant but when we went to wash our hands i saw the pool and the layout was breathtaking It gave lowkey Spanish vibes and i loveeeddd it !!! I hate the color yellow but they designed well I really wish to stay here atleast once in my life That pasta brought years to my life and i would love to go back for more Even the iced tea was soo good I say yes to this place Definitely give it a try and dont forget to try their pasta

Fantastic stay here at Forte Kochi. Well designed rooms. Good care & great food. Helpful service. The old well near the pool is so lovely. Enjoyed our 3 day stay! Charming boutique hotel.

So this time in Kerala - we decided to stay somewhere for a couple of days before we do the relentless engagements with family. We chose Kochi and my daughter managed to narrow it down to Forte Kochi. The pictures in the website were stunning where it screamed authentic heritage architecture , amazing combination of colors and vibrant locality. I must say the first step into the palace assured us that we have made the right selection . |We were greeted by Ms Arunima who made our check-in really smooth and super fast all whilst she spoke to us about the heritage and history of this place. The room was beautiful with tinted windows and old switches, it was as though we were transported back in time. All the staffs were very courteous and happy to help if needed. The masseuses Jayaraj and Shilpa were really amazing, we had a wonderful massage thanks to them. Had an excellent stay thanks to the all staff from checking in to checking out. Definitely a place you want to come back to once you’ve left. ❤️

We stayed at Forte Kochi for the weekend. The hotel is 1.5 hours away from Kochi international airport. Located in the heart of old town near Chinese fishing nets making it immensely popular with guests. We were warmly welcomed at the reception and our check in was a breeze 😊 Our room was a gorgeous mix of old world charm and modern luxury amenities. Colourfully tinted windows, solid wooden furniture, and large, inviting four poster beds take your breath away at first sight and transport you to colonial India. Their in house restaurant offers cozy indoor seating and ample varieties in veg and non vegetarian dishes to choose from and had a nice mix of Indian and foreign guests. Take a dip in their gorgeous swimming pool with pool decks to laze around. Their morning heritage walk was refreshing and took us down memory lane and shouldn’t be missed. We had a lovely stay experience 😊

Had an amazing dinner experience on 05/07/2025. The blend of Kerala and continental architecture, peaceful ambience, and top-notch cleanliness really stood out. Staff like Amal were warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The open dining area and poolside vibe were perfect. I’m even considering spending a few days there just to relax, read, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. One of the best spots in Fort Kochi! ❤️

We stayed for a weekend in June. It was very comfortable and pleasant stay. Forte Kochi is a beautiful property with very efficient and helpful staff. Hope to stay there again soon. The staff at the front desk were always quick to assist us, offering umbrellas in the rain, the dining staff was happy to accomodate our requests, and the housekeeping staff was very efficient, wiping down the corridors and benches immediately after every downpour of rain - and there was a lot of rain! Thank you to Shalu, Shilpa (for the ayurvedic massage), Durga and everyone else (Forte Kochi management, please note: I didn't catch everyone's name, but all the staff were really helpful, efficient and pleasant and they all deserve a raise!)
