Very impressed with everything at this restaurant. The food, quality, service, ambience - all amazing! The Salmon Ceviche was my favourite, perfect blend of flavours popping in your mouth. My husband is very picky with his steaks and he loved the Res (rib eye) alongside the delicious duck fat mashed potatoes. Our server went over the menu with us from the beginning and showed us all the popular dishes. When the food is served, she explained everything that was on the dish. I appreciate great service like this. For dessert we got the popcorn ice cream which I highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back here again to try other plates!

This is a pretty nice fine-dining spot. Good place for pictures too. The portions and flavors are generally okay, and the service is good. We ordered quite a few dishes, so I might not remember all the exact names correctly. • Beef tartare: 6/10. Personally, I found it a bit too plain. • Taco: 8/10. Lots of layered ingredients, and the perilla leaf helps balance out the roe’s brininess. • Scallop: 7/10. The scallop was sweet and fresh, and the sauce paired well. It also came with a side salad. • Empanada: 9/10. Crispy on the outside but juicy inside. • Short ribs: 10/10. • Sirloin: 10/10. The crispy potatoes on top were the highlight, and they went perfectly with the tender, slow-braised meat.

Enjoyed our experience here. We tried the swordfish, salmon, and scallop ceviche- all were phenomenal. Next time, we’re definitely trying everything on the ceviche menu! We also had the steak, which came with the best sauce, and the duck dish. We loved the Chocoflan dessert. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful ambiance. Service was excellent- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Me and my fiancé came from Montreal to visit family. Let me say.. food was not just delicious, but spectacular. After each bite, that i was savoring, I thought that the next dish couldn't be better. Our waitress Daria had an excellent knowledge of each ingredient. Her attention of each small detail made our , first time, memorable. If you could have chance to have her as your culinary guide, you are lucky 😊

I was in this restaurant for the first time the other day. I can say that the atmosphere was really great - people recommend this place for a reason. We celebrated my friend's birthday here and were very worried that the food would not meet our expectations, because often a beautiful interior and presentation are not equal to delicious cuisine. But everything was just great here, everyone was very happy with the food and drinks. The only thing is that there was no gift from the establishment for my friend's birthday, I hope that in the future they will take this into account. I also want to add that I am really picky about food, so I think you will also like this establishment.

I had a pleasant dining experience overall. The food was good, flavorful, and came in generous portions that left me satisfied. The ambiance was great—perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual date night. While the service was a bit slow, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were average for the quality and quantity offered. I’d definitely consider coming back, especially for the vibe and solid dishes.

Nice restaurant, good food and amazing service. I put 4 because the food was oversalted (steak), and also a bit too loud, with music and tables so close to each other its impossible to chat. But music was very nice. They have some private areas there, definately would be better idea to book there. Also parking is a bit of a hustle.

Fortunas Row is my absolute favourite restaurant I have tried in Calgary. Despite the incredibly vibey and cool interior of this place the food still remains the best part. Every dish not only looks great and is presented well but is incredibly delicious and each plate manages to stand out as unique from each other. The cocktails are also great and thought out as well. Staff seems super engaged and educated on the menu and are happy to answer any questions, make recommendations and explain the thought processes behind the menu items. The only downside is the price as it does range higher than a lot of other options in the city however I would still say it's worth the price tag.

I was introduced to this place by a local expert restaurant aficionado! We met here for a business dinner. Our server was extremely super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The restaurant vibe is very cool and everything is clean and orderly. The bar is loaded with a wide range of eclectic spirits along with the old faithfuls. The food is simply as good as it gets. Tomahawk Steak and Duck dish was elevated to an amazing standard. I strongly recommend this place.

This restaurant is gorgeous. It has taken over the old Bookers, and the decor is amazing. Upon entering, you're greeted by a tempting selection of baked goods. We visited for brunch; I ordered the Benny, while my husband opted for the BANDEJA PAISA. Both dishes were enjoyable, although I must admit my Benny was just okay. We also ordered Yuca fries as a side, which I regretted; I should have saved room for dessert, which I'm sure would have been better. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely return to try their dinner menu someday.

Food was 9/10!! It was great!!!! I feel like each dish had a unique flavor profile, interesting pairings, but at the same time nothing too new. I was very happy and pleased with my meal but I wasn't mind- blown. Hence, the 9/10 not 10/10. I also think it's because I came in with high expectations. Plus, in reference to the price point. (Paid $100 including gratuity and tax) Overall, it was a pleasant, creative, and delightful gastronomical experience. Service was 11/10. Absolutely crazy good service. Couldn't ask for more. Ambiance was 11/10. Clean and well curated place! I appreciated the placement and spacing of the dining areas! I loved the idea of having a chefs bar as well. It had a great vibe that really let me enjoy my stay. Overall, 10/10 -- definitely with checking out. I went for Valentine's Day so my menu was special for that day. I will come back however to order their items from the regular menu. Love love love Fortuna's Row! Will absolutely come back and recommend to friends.

This place is amazing! amazing ambiance, service, the food was to die for. we were only visiting calgary for 4 days from LA and this has to be one of the best spots to eat at where food was actually FLAVORED. every single dish was delicious and so thoughtful. we had the aguachile, the gobernador (delicious tacos), and RES. all dishes were balanced. havent had food that was inspiring like this in a while. our waiter was extremely attentive, never had to ask for anything, very proactive. even the bathrooms were super cute! so inspired by this restaurant just had to write a review!! everybody has to come here!!

Its a beautiful space, as everyone else has said, with a dramatic entry experience. I like the choice of seating, table/bar/chef's bar. For us two, the chef's bar gave us a perfect view of the room and the kitchen, its like dinner and a show... Our waiter was first rate: well informed, energetic, friendly. Food runners brought the dishes out, so nothing sat on the counter - impressive. Cocktails were creative and delicious. The 'Rosemary' was outstanding. They could use some more alcohol-free options, though. All our dishes were beautifully plated and presented. Taste: Scallop A+ perfect bite Aguachile A++ wonderful balance Octopus B+ very tender Tostada B fresh, a little bland Lamb Ribs B- little tough, hard to eat/share Overall great experience. Will return next time with a group.

Our server Dominic was fantastic. Attentive and informative. He described the cocktails and menu perfectly. He and the others attending to us were also great. The atmosphere was lovely and the food delicious. We will be back.

The place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, it gives you an "industrial" vibe, very spacious, good price for the food and a lot of flavour. Downside was the service, slow, servers did not seem very happy, brought our dishes at different times without any justification for the delay, they didn't seem to put an effort to be pleasant, hence why 3 stars only.

Wow! Had adult son's birthday dinner here. The beef tartar, the duck, the pork, the drinks (ginger was amazing with multiple waves of flavors, wasabi was delicious) and the desserts (churros and tres leches). Staff were wonderful. Definitely will go again.

What a great restaurant for Calgary. Service was wonderful. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and composition. We enjoy many delightful dishes by choosing the "just feed us" option. Cocktails were interesting and delicious as was the Carmenere. We will be back!

Went for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. The fresh fruit was pristine, the beans were so flavourful, the potatoes were amazing and we loved the scrambled eggs and house-made sausage. Finally, the cheesecake blueberry donut was to die for. Fantastic service as well. 10/10 would recommend, as we haven't had brunch that good in a long time.

What a beautiful makeover to the old Bookers crab shack. The ambiance takes you away and awakens your senses for a great experience. Shared plates of the jalepeno scrambled eggs, spicy papas bravas and a juicy skirt steak. The food was absolutely delicious!! Will be going back!!

Ambiance is on point, food is pretty good and service was fast. Squash and Brussels dish was awesome.
