Forvm Boutique Hotel

For a start when we checked they were doing building work and maintenance, so the lift was out of order ( reception on floor 1)! No mention of this on our booking!|So I left my wife with the cases and walked up no problem, so I just checked with the receptionist about my booking and carried up one case, which the receptionist looked up and had my details, which I said I will go and get another case, which she said was fine……….. When I came back up with my passport for checking in, only then she told me our room was in another building!!!! Great in 30 degree heat with no lift!|Any way we checked in and one of the girls in reception helped with our cases and showed us to our room which was about 75 yards up and across the road.|The room looked fine on first impression. So we unpacked a few things and had a shower to freshen up. The the phone rang from reception, saying we had been given the wrong room and we would need to move back to the main building down the road, some 45 minutes after we had checked in! I refused!!!…… I was not willing to move our cases back with no lift, especially as they had my passport to check what room we were booked in! The receptionist didn’t sound happy and said that she would have to check with management and would call back!|Anyway after the refreshing shower and walking around the room I soon discovered that the room isn’t as clean as it it looked! My feet were black!…….. Luckily we were only staying one night, otherwise I would have moved!|So we got changed to go out and decided to pop into reception as we had no call about them wanting to move us, only to be told it’s fine to stay! I did mention about the dirty floor and she said , it’s just the dusty tiles?!!!! What a joke!||I’m sure there are better and cleaner hotels in Trieste than this one?!!||Is it quirky? Yes!||Is it worth it? No!

Probably the nicest little hotel we have stayed at in Trieste. Very obliging staff - they let us check in at 11:00 a.m.! Very nice high ceilings, modern decor, small refrigerator in room with complimentary drinks (beer, pop, and water). Nice selection of breakfast options. The manager Nicolo was particularly helpful. Thoroughly recommended. We will stay there again. Try and avoid the rooms facing the street, though - the motorcycles are very noisy! Great location otherwise.

We booked this hotel based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. The entrance to the hotel is confusing. A small door on the street gives access to a lobby, but first you must find the buzzer at the side of the door. Once pressed the door opens and you take the lift to the first floor, where reception is. After that everything follows smoothly - the staff are friendly and welcoming, decor is stylish but relaxed, rooms are spacious and well furnished. The road outside is busy and there is traffic noise. As a light sleeper this concerned me. However, the rooms have triple glazing so it wasn’t a problem and the rooms are air conditioned. We took the optional Italian breakfast - good quality and value at €10 each. The hotel is centrally located and several restaurants are nearby. We would be delighted to stay here again.

Our room was on the 4th floor, facing the street. Thanks to the triple-paned windows, the room was completely quiet. The air conditioner was also super powerful, cold, and quiet. The room was super spacious, even by "American" standards. Best of all, the hotel is central to everything! The breakfast was lovely and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

We stayed at what they call the ‘Bijoux Rooms’. The bathroom was worn down, some of the fixings were coming off when turning on the shower for example. It could do with a bit of a fixing up. The room was described as having a ‘coffee machine’, this was in fact a kettle only. Other than that, the location was great, easy to find and close to everything without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Note that as of August 2025 the lift does not go up to the 4th floor rooms. This means you can take the lift to the 3rd floor only and need to walk up the stairs for the final flight.

Stylishly furnished and impeccably clean rooms with a fresh, well-maintained feel. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and attentive. A top recommendation – outstanding value for money.

Great location , 5 mins walk to train/ bus stations and to the canal. Excellent service, well appointed rooms. Breakfast fantastic, beautifully presented and huge. Highly recommend

Lukewarm experience. We were located in another building down the street, 100+ meters away from reception. The walls are extremely thin and it sounds like there was a gym on the floor above us, as there was a terrible noise 24/7 coming from above. Terrible value for price. The room was clean, but extremely dark.
