Fosshotel Húsavík

A lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and included amenities like a heated bathroom floor. The bed was comfortable, and service at the front desk was excellent. Free parking made things even more convenient.

Not a guest but dined in the restaurant. Good food, well prepared and shown and GREAT service by the nice waitress who took my order on Tuesday 12/8/25, five minutes after the kitchen had closed at 9pm. Professionalism with a smile, shared by the 2 other waitress in the dining room. For the record of the hotel Management.

Centrally located, modern hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast is decent but a few gluten free and lactose free options for a hotel of this standard would not be unreasonable.

I really liked this hotel. It was a good place to rest and was clean. The location was perfect. Just a block from the museums and harbor. It wasn’t loud, and the breakfast was great. My dad couldn’t find his glasses so we went to the front desk to ask if they’d been returned there. The guy asked if they were the ones on his shirt. We had a great laugh.
