Fosshotel Húsavík

Very nice hotel and well located. Warm staff and good service. Spacious room and everything very clean. ||Good facilities in the lobby to sit and chat. Brilliant breakfast. Didn't eat dinner. I recommend the hotel. ||Also recommend visiting the Geosea baths.

Architecture is not one of Iceland's strong points and this hotel doesn't look much from the outside. The room was spacious and warm with comfortable beds but very little storage space. The bar and reception area is really nicely designed, spacious and comfortable. We ate at the hotel on our first night and the food was really good. The outstanding feature of the hotel is the team of staff, all of whom were really friendly and professional: on the reception desk, at the bar and in the restaurant. The dining room is enormous but this is a conference hotel and we chose to eat dinner in the cozy bar area.

Easy walk to everything downtown Husavik has to offer. The hotel has subtle whale themes. Comfortable beds, nice shower. Great restaurant and one of the few opened after 6pm during off season. The curry was flavored well with a hint of heat but not overwhelming.

The check in and check out was easy. We arrived a bit early and a room was made available, so we "wouldn't have to wait."||The staff was friendly, The location is convenient to sites and restaurants. Excellent breakfast and spacious dining room.

The first room they put us in, had a musty smell to it. They kindly put us in the newer section and it was much better. Overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay while visiting Husavik. It’s in walking distance to everything except for the thermal pools which you have to drive to.

4 stars because the beds are hard as a rock! This being said, the view from our room was spectacular! It would have been 5 stars if we had a decent night sleep but it was uncomfortable (2 nights) Location is key - super close to walk to restaurants and grocery. 4 mins from geosea spa

Very nice hotel in the lovely town of husavik. Great daily breakfast was included Friendly and helpful staff. We did open our window one evening, and a lot of flies came in. But the front desk quickly helped us resolve the issue.

Amazing well maintained modern hotel! The staff was nice, friendly and helpful too. The breakfast is delicious! Recommend!
