Fosshotel Reykjavík

Room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. The lobby was comfortable and spacious. Overall, we liked everything about the hotel except for one of the front desk clerks, whose communication to us regarding a $35 USD early check-in fee (to check in at 10:45am) felt like extortion.

Good location, right by bus stop 12, which is easy for pick-ups for excursions and airport transfers.|The room was clean and comfortable, and it was great to warm up in the bath after being out in the snow.|Good breakfast with plenty of options.|Beergarden was a good place to chill after a busy day.|We ate there two nights running and all meals were tasty and filling. The popcorn is also a nice touch.|All staff we dealt with were friendly and professional.|

Most amazing hotel breakfast of my life! So many amazing options (both salty and sweet) For vegans: there's a whole table with like 6 types of vegan cheese + butter + yogurt! I've never felt so well treated, I swear! Am writing this in the breakfast table because I'm really really amazed!

I stayed here with my group of 36 and I must say, this was an exquisite hotel. The food in the resturant was some of the best food I've ever tasted. I would eat there again even if I didn't stay at the hotel. The location is about a 20 minutes walk into the city center but its scenic and an enjoyable walk, just bundle up. My absolute favorite features: the heated bathroom floors and the beer garden. I would recommend having a tea kettle in the rooms, as not everyone drinks coffee, but the coffee pods are a nice touch.

This is the second time we have stayed here…it’s a great hotel. The staff are lovely the service is fantastic. The Bar is such a relaxing space and the food is great. So handy being picked up outside for our trips. I have booked again for December 2025 see you then. Thank you x

We travelled with our three kids and four other members of our family. Hotel staff were great, the rooms very clean and warm and the bars were good too. Super handy for bus / coach trips also with a pick up point right outside. ||||We ate in the Beer Garden bar which was decent food and the staff were really friendly.

Amazing stay! First visit to Reykjavik and could not have booked a better hotel. All the staff, yes all, were always amazing and very helpful. The rooms were modern and very clean. Great bar with lots of beer selections and good food. Very good location with a quick walk to many shops and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was great as well. If we ever make it back to Reykjavik, I will just book here, no need to look for anything better.
