Fosshotel Reykjavík

The hotel is really nice though the rooms are a bit small. We had a room with two twin beds. One floor lamps holds in place because a chair pushes against it. Nice bathroom, lots a cabinets to store thing. The floor wasn't clean when we got in. You need to walk a few minutes to get to the main tourist street. The hotel is right beside bus stop 12 for guided tours which is really convenient.

Staff excellent. Good location , with a 20-30 minute walk to museums etc. Parking okay at P2 and pay at machine or app. |Beer garden has happy hour , with great choice of beers. Customer service was brilliant. Breakfast had a huge choice but hot food was always look warm. Very little English TV ( no ITV or channel 4 , limited BBC) Would expect at least internet TV or freeview in a 4 star hotel. Rooms a little tired looking.

Perfect location for walking around the city, and right next to a key bus stop for tours leaving on day trips. Comfortable rooms, never heard our neighbors or people in the hallway. We got a break on the price by booking more than 3 nights more than 100 days in advance, which made the rooms quite reasonable. We had no complaints whatsoever.

Terrific hotel stay complete with a surprise welcome pastry platter wishing us a happy wedding anniversary. We were in the nice spacious Room 727 with a lovely view of the bay to the side and a very welcome coffee machine and a small fridge. I asked the breakfast team about gluten free choices for a coeliac and one kindly took the time to point me towards the card labels that showed which allergens were present. The only omission was the tempting chia jars but on asking the team advised it was likely not safe. As well as the gluten free bread station I was able to safely eat ample amounts of fruit, bacon, eggs. Very happy with our stay and looking forward to staying again on the return portion of our trip. Thanks to Iceland Tours for a great choice and to the hotel team for a lovely stay. Oh and street parking was easy, just around the corner in the P2 zone, paid daily via the Parka app.

We spent 3 days after a cruise at Foss Hotel. We got to hotel at 10am and our rooms were ready for us! What a wonderful way to start. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was included and it was fresh and a large selection of food. It was very busy in the restaurant with so many guests. Our rooms on Floor 16 were spacious and the view was marvelous. It was very close to shopping and bus service. Definitlely would stay here again. One of the Best Hotels.

The recently renovated junior suite was really well designed, modern and functional. Comfortable beds. Hotel staff is a bit rough around the edges but overall accommodating.

Nice, clean hotel. Good and clean room with a good quality bed, hard, if that's your thing. Breakfast is also very good, a lot to choose from. The bus station is right in front of the hotel, where a lot of other tour buses stop, which makes it practical.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had our wedding reception here! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I worked with Andreea to plan everything for the reception. She was top notch. Planned everything from the US and only met in person one day prior! The service her and her staff provided was amazing. The morning breakfast was great. Would highly recommend Foss Hotel and the staff!
