A really nice modern hotel. Rooms are large with great bathrooms, large showers, heated floors in bathroom. Staff at front desk is efficient and very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was great with a large selection. |Great central location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping area.|Also and nice but small gift shop in hotel.

Comfortable hotel. Easy to find. Friendly and professional staff. We accidentally broke a glass in the room one morning and housekeeping staff were right on it and thoroughly cleaned it up. Don't miss the breakfast buffet. It's not your typical American continental breakfast. They offer an array of items, just about anything you could want. I love the Skyr!

Really great hotel in an excellent location, with everything you could want easily within walking distance. The rooms are generously sized, thoughtfully designed, and have great lighting along with all the right amenities — including a much-appreciated pod coffee machine. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a perfect and restful stay. Highly recommend Foss Hotel Reykjavik for anyone visiting the city.

I stayed at the Fosshotel Reykjavík while on my trip to Iceland for 4 nights. Our experience? Excellent. From the staff to the rooms to the buffet breakfast, everything was top notch. The best part? Bus stop #12 is just 50 meters walk which is one of the main stops for tours which makes it very easy. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and was quickly checked in. The hotel lobby was decorated lovely and Christmassy. Went to our room which was on the 7th floor. Was a nice size and very clean. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. There was also smal bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Best thing about the bathroom though, was the underfloor heating, lovely. Bed was very comfy. We didn't watch much TV in our room but we did catch a couple of programmes like big bang theory that was in English with foreign subtitles. We found that funny as it's usually the other way round. Loved the beer garden restaurant, ate there twice, and we ate in the other bar once. Food was very good in both places, as were the drinks. Breakfast was also most enjoyable with a very good selection. The hotel is in a good location for the town centre and is about a 10 minute walk to the many shops and eateries/bars etc. Bus stop 12 is just outside where we got dropped off from our airport transfer, and where many excursions pickup/drop off. Only trouble was that there can be 6 or more coaches turning up at once from different companies doing the same excursions and about 300 people all trying to find which is their bus. But it's just one of those things. Nothing to do with the hotel. I would 100% return to this hotel and highly recommend it. Loved every minute

Nice location, most of the tour operations has pick and drop off at the bus st op 12 which is at the door of the hotel. For city center shopping and restaurants you have to walk for 5-10 minutes. Ask for floor and 7 and above for Sea view.

I stayed at Fosshotel Reykjavík for three days during the Nordic POP workshop, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is perfectly located near the sea and the mountains, offering breathtaking views, especially in the evening under the full moon, which was truly unforgettable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a modern, welcoming atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the Icelandic breakfast, fresh, varied, and a perfect start to each day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Everything from check-in to daily assistance was smooth and pleasant. Whether you’re visiting Reykjavík for work, sightseeing, or simply to relax, I highly recommend Fosshotel Reykjavík ; a perfect base to enjoy the city and Iceland’s natural beauty.
