A new space for contemporary photography in Berlin. Some years ago the building and its backyard were inhabited by ocupa people, who filled the walls with graffiti and sold their art.
As Berlin gentrifies, the ocupa were expelled, the graffiti was left and in the former backyard a new and shiny office building now exists.
Hence, the current space still has the graffiti in their walls, and the upper levels are in use for the museum.
The exhibition space is not very big but the admission price is a bit high. People with disabilities will have to beg for the key to the lift, as it is not freely accessible.
Generous open hours: every day, until late.
