The Best Things to Do in Berlin, From Prussian Palaces to Temples to Techno | Condé Nast Traveler

"Set inside the former Tacheles art collective, this Fotografiska branch focuses on regularly rotating contemporary photography exhibitions and feels especially rooted in Berlin’s artist history; recent shows have ranged from five decades of Helga Paris to Feng Li’s urban portraits and Lebohang Kganye’s mixed-media walkthrough installations. I appreciated that the museum stays open late (daily until 11 p.m.), which makes it easy to combine a show with a bite or drink at one of the on-site restaurants and bars and a browse through the carefully curated gift shop/concept store." - Liz Humphreys, Krystin Arneson

A interesting museum for photography lovers. It's as good as the one in Stockholm. Exhibitions changes every few months and the museum shop has lots of interesting books and souvenirs for sale. Opening hours is long therefore you could plan when to visit flexibly.

The building itself is a true Berlin experience, the exhibitions were nicely curated, but I wish the notes on some displays were better organised - the first exhibition had limited light and it was difficult to read. Overall, very interesting space and experience, the have a lovely cafe, bar, and store with the hottest photo books 📚

Cool and interesting building with stairways covered in street art, stickers and graffiti. Exhibitions are varied, quite large, some too abstract for our likings, but nevertheless fun to walk in for a bit. Entree is 10 euros.

From far, the best photo museum I went to. The look inside is vers Berlin like, full of grafititis. The exhibitions and shop were really cool. If you like photography in a unique environment, do not hesitate.

A reasonably well-curated gallery spread over several floors of the formerly well-known Tacheles. The exhibition appears to have been put together rather carelessly, and the atmosphere resembles that of a classic museum for tourists with no great interest in art – it has more of a mainstream character. There are a few selected and well-known artists in between, but they are presented in a rather shallow way – here, more focus is placed on their highlight photographs than on their artistic careers. Nevertheless, the team on site is very nice and a walk through the building can be quite enjoyable – especially if you know the old Tacheles building and want to see where it is now.

Amazing and unique museum full of experiences. The photos displayed here show irregular but mind blowing effects. The tall building from the first to fifth floor showed different topics of arts. When walking through the stairs, you will pass through graffiti that makes you feel unorganized but straightforward and natural. The arts here were fairly unusual but touched your hearts. Highly recommended visiting this place!
